In this work, a new static, non-singular, spherically symmetric fluid model has been obtained in the background of f(R,T) gravity. Here we consider the isotropic metric potentials of Durgapal-IV (Durgapal, 1982) solution as input to handle the Einstein field equations in f(R,T) environment. For different coupling parameter values of χ, graphical representations of the physical parameters have been demonstrated to describe the analytical results more clearly. It should be highlighted that the results of General Relativity (GR) are given by χ=0. With the use of both analytical discussion and graphical illustrations, a thorough comparison of our results with the GR outcomes is also covered. The numerical values of the various physical attributes have been given for various coupling parameter χ values in order to discuss the impact of this parameter. Here we apply our solution by considering the compact star candidate LMC X-4 (Rawls et al., 2011) with mass =(1.04±0.09)M and radius =8.3010.2+0.2 km. respectively, to analyze both analytically and graphically. To confirm the physical acceptance of our model, we discuss certain physical properties of our obtained solution such as energy conditions, causality, hydrostatic equilibrium through a modified Tolman–Oppenheimer–Volkoff (TOV) conservation equation, pressure–density ratio, etc. Also, our solution is well-behaved and free from any singularity at the center. From our present study, it is observed that all of our obtained results fall within the physically admissible regime, indicating the viability of our model.  相似文献

To calculate structural parameters of stellar systems such as an effective radius and central space (or surface) density, the method of characteristic functions is suggested. The characteristic function of the system is a Fourier image of their normalized space density profile f3(r). In the case of spherical symmetry the probability distribution of r (Q3(r) = (3/a3)r2f3(r)) and its orthogonal projections have the same characteristic functions. This fact is used to calculate the effective radii of a few star cluster models (King law, Plummer model and Gausian profile). It is shown, that the characteristic function for King law clusters tends to a finite generalised function if the concentration parameter c is large. The expression for the effective radius (at c ≫ 1) is given. The formula of the effective radius in the Plummer model as well as the relation between the one-dimensional central velocity dispersion and the root mean square velocity are obtained. It is shown, that in the Gaussian model and for King law clusters the effective radius (half-mass visual radius) can differ from the effective (harmonic) radius a few times. This fact should be taken into account in estimating the mass-to-light ratio from the virial mass of such systems using the King radius.  相似文献

We present a catalogue (CSOCA) of stars residing in 520 Galactic open cluster sky areas which is the result of the kinematic (proper motion) and photometric member selection of stars listed in the homogeneous All‐sky Compiled Catalogue of 2.5Million Stars (ASCC‐2.5).We describe the structure and contents of the catalogue, the selection procedure applied, and the proper motion and photometric membership constraints adopted. In every cluster area the CSOCA contains the complete list of the ASCC‐2.5 stars regardless of their membership probability. For every star the CSOCA includes accurate J2000 equatorial coordinates, proper motions in the Hipparcos system, BV photometric data in the Johnson system, proper motion and photometric membership probabilities, as well as angular distances from the cluster centers for about 166 000 ASCC‐2.5 stars. If available, trigonometric parallaxes, spectral types, multiplicity and variability flags from the ASCC‐2.5, and radial velocities with their errors from the Catalogue of Radial Velocities of Galactic Stars with high precision Astrometric Data (CRVAD) are also given. We propose hydrostatic polytropic spheres governed by the Lane-Emden equation (LEE) of index n as a novel set of physical models for axially averaged gravitational lenses anywhere in the Universe, alternative to the familiar singular isothermal sphere (SIS) and the Navarro–Frenk–White (NFW) profile, as such general polytropic spheres are conceptually simple, versatile in representing a series of equations of state, and able to address both the inner core and cusp features. As LEE is nonlinear, there exist several distinct classes of LEE solutions to serve as physical lens models. With a few scaling parameters, the complete problem can be readily reconstructed with full physical dimensions. A given mass density profile satisfying LEE produces lensing effects that are solely determined by a dimensionless parameter q which contains geometric and kinematic information about the source-lens-observer system. The lens mapping and tangential shear or distortion profile are derived, first analytically for special cases and then asymptotically at the outskirts or near the edge of the lens. Numerical procedures for calculating full lensing profiles of a general lens are developed. Our results include the analytical “singular polytropic sphere” (SPS) profile which generalizes the SIS model and may outperform the latter in modeling dark matter halos among others. We further point out that dynamic models of general polytropic spheres in self-similar evolution can serve as several broad classes of gravitational lenses and produce time-dependent lensing effects slow or fast depending on the pertinent time scales. Astrophysical sources that can be lensed include electromagnetic wave sources in the entire frequency band, gravitational wave sources in the entire frequency band, gravitons even possibly with finite masses, neutrino sources of three different types, neutron sources, and ultra high energy cosmic rays (UHECRs) of electrically charged particles which can also interact with magnetic fields. We discuss and elabrate applications to dark matter halos, hypermassive black holes and supermassive black holes in the entire Universe including the early Universe, magnetized supermassive stars, static and dynamically evolving spherical and cylindrical lenses in contexts of astrophysics and cosmology.  相似文献
