伽马射线暴的光变复杂度是描述其光变曲线复杂程度的物理量.由已知红移的伽马射线暴,Reichart等人发现其光变复杂度与各向同性光度之间有正相关性(LαVα,α在1.77~3.5之间),即光变越复杂,光度越高.此相关性类似于造父变星的周光关系,可用来估计伽马暴的距离和红移.调研、分析了各种光变复杂度的定义、算法和光变复杂度-各向同性光度关系的拟合结果,最后对光变复杂度和光度之间的关系做了总结和展望.  相似文献

伽马射线暴是宇宙中最剧烈的爆发现象之一.Swift卫星的快速定位和Fermi卫星的宽、高能段观测,使得伽马暴的观测可以全波段进行.通过Swift的观测可以对伽马暴现象的本质有进一步的理解,而Fermi卫星提供了一些暴高能光子的辐射数据,为进一步研究暴的辐射机制和伽马暴以及它的余辉提供了有力的依据.介绍了Swift和Fermi卫星发射后一些伽马暴的观测和理论研究进展.  相似文献

Variability on time scales δt < t is observed on numerous occasions in the afterglows of cosmic gamma-ray bursts (GRBs). It is well known that the radiation originating in an external shock produced by the interaction of an ultrarelativistic jet with the ambient interstellar medium should not contain such variability within the framework of simple models. The corresponding constraints were established by Ioka et al. (2005) and, in some instances, are inconsistent with observations. On the other hand, if the motion is not relativistic, then the rapid afterglow variability can be explained much more easily. Various estimates of the transition time to a nonrelativistic motion in a GRB source are discussed in this connection. It has been shown that this transition should occur on an observed time scale of ~10 days. In the case of a higher density of the surrounding material, ~102?104 cm?3, or a stellar wind with ? ~ 10?5?10?4 M yr?1, the transition to a nonrelativistic motion can occur on a time scale of ~1 day. Such densities may well be expected in star-forming regions and around massive Wolf-Rayet stars.  相似文献

根据粘土矿物含量的图版计算方法,计算了实际井段的粘土矿物含量,分析了高岭石、伊利石和蒙脱石与U、Th、K含量的相关关系,由此分析得到粘土矿物含量与放射性元素含量的多元线性关系,建立了粘土矿物含量计算的回归方程。通过对不同井段以及同一井段不同地层数据建立的回归方程分析,给出了具有代表性的线性回归方程模型。根据一个实际井段粘土矿物的计算,获得粘土矿物含量随深度的变化,其粘土矿物含量计算结果与原测井解释相吻合,同时与岩心分析误差在10%左右。  相似文献

We discuss the properties of gamma-ray radiation accompanying the acceleration of cosmic rays via the converter mechanism. The mechanism exploits multiple photon-induced conversions of high-energy particles from charged into neutral state (namely, protons to neutrons and electrons to photons) and back. Because a particle in the neutral state can freely cross the magnetic field lines, this allows to avoid both particle losses downstream and reduction in the energy gain factor, which normally takes place due to highly collimated distribution of accelerated particles. The converter mechanism efficiently operates in relativistic outflows under the conditions typical for Active Galactic Nuclei, Gamma-Ray Bursts, and microquasars, where it outperforms the standard diffusive shock acceleration. The accompanying radiation has a number of distinctive features, such as an increase of the maximum energy of synchrotron photons and peculiar radiation beam-pattern, whose opening angle is much wider at larger photon energies. This provides an opportunity to observe off-axis relativistic jets in GeV–TeV energy range. One of the implications is the possibility to explain high-latitude unidentified EGRET sources as off-axis but otherwise typical relativistic-jet sources, such as blazars.  相似文献

We estimate the contribution of millisecond pulsars to the diffuse gamma-ray background of the Galaxy, and show that a significant fraction of the Galactic background may originate from them. A small number of the unidentified COS-B point sources may, in fact, be millisecond pulsars. It is argued that several hundred millisecond pulsars may be detectable as point sources by the GRO satellite A preliminary version of these results was presented at the NATO Advanced Study Institute on Neutron stars, AGNs and Jets, Erice, September 5–17, 1988. In this paper,characteristics of spatial and temporal variation of linear fitting goodness before some moderately strong earthquakes(Ms≥5.0)in the eastern part of China(east of longitude 180)are studied according to the famous Gutenberg-Richter's relation expressed as lgN=a-bM,by using the moderate and small events that occurred in and around the source area.The results show that the linear goodness of fitting varies abnormally prior to these moderately strong earthquakes.In the early stage of the earthquake preparatory process,distribution of the energy released through small events in and around the source area is isostatic and the fitting goodness approximates 1,while the distribution of the energy turns to be isostatic before moderately strong earthquakes,leading to the obvious decrease of the linear goodness of fitting.This phenomenon could be a medium term anomaly and a medium term criterion for moderately strong earthquake prediction.  相似文献

探讨有利层段的沉积与湖平面变化之间的关系,可以对湖相致密储层的勘探开发部署提供一定参考。以柴达木盆地西部尕斯地区上干柴沟组下段为例,利用自然伽马(GR)曲线资料,进行Fischer图解和铀含量(U)-有机碳(TOC)回归拟合法,重建渐新世沉积时期湖平面变化过程,结合磁化率资料,讨论了湖平面变化的气候控制作用。结果表明:(1)尕斯地区上干柴沟组下段泥质含量和TOC含量变化趋势一致,均反映其在沉积过程中经历了两次湖退和湖进过程,有利于烃源岩和储层的形成;(2)湖平面上升期形成的高水位沉积体系,对应于致密砂岩类储层中优质烃源岩的富集层段,能有效形成源-储共生配置;(3)渐新世湖平面变化受西风条件下的气候的控制,西风带来的水汽,形成相对湿润的气候条件,引起湖平面的上升,有利于烃源岩的形成,且与有利层段的沉积呈现耦合关系。  相似文献

针对基于全天空极光图像的极光事件自动分类问题,提出一种基于方向能量二元编码重组表征的自动分类方法。首先,通过对多个方向上能量分解来描述极光事件中的局部纹理和各个方向上的运动信息,并且结合分块策略获得极光事件的全局形态信息;然后,借鉴一种二元编码重组的方式对多个方向能量进行融合,从而使得极光事件的表征具有同时表征局部纹理、全局形态和运动信息的能力。该表征方法完全不依赖于极光事件的长度,可用于表征不同持续时间的极光事件,并且不需要复杂的训练过程。利用最近邻和支撑向量机分类器分别对从中国北极黄河站拍摄到的极光图像中挑选的特定极光事件进行自动分类,结果表明,与其他两种典型的动态纹理描述方法相比,本文所提出的表征方法结合最近邻分类器,得到了最好的分类效果,能有效用于极光事件的分析,为海量数据中的极光事件自动分类提供了一种新方法。  相似文献

Abstract

Renewable energy sources are generally considered as an important tool on the way towards sustainable development. However, if developing countries want to actively promote renewable energies, they may need to face the problem that current legislation conflicts with the clean development mechanism (CDM) rules, and especially with the additionality concept. Thus, CDM projects may become impossible to implement. This article presents an approach to overcoming these potential difficulties.
