通过时雅鲁藏布大峡谷流域地貌形成响应时间域的定量估算,大峡谷与上游河道特征的时比,以及大峡谷入口处河湖阶地的沉积分析和定年研究.结合构造研究的新进展和数值地貌分析成果,系统论证了雅鲁藏布大峡谷的形成。研究结果表明,现今的雅鲁藏布大峡谷与大峡谷上游的河道在大峡谷形成之前分属不同的河流体系,大约在距今30kaBP前后,原属于帕隆藏布江水系支流的扎曲一直白河段因溯源侵蚀,袭夺了位于现今直白河段上游的古雅鲁藏布江水系,使得此前向南经南伊沟(纳伊普曲)流出高原的古雅鲁藏布江与帕隆藏布江合二为一,雅鲁藏布大峡谷得以贯通和强烈的侵蚀下切,形成现今著名的大峡谷和大拐弯式样的流域结构。  相似文献

The combined geothermal discharge from over 10,000 features in Yellowstone National Park (YNP) can be can be estimated from the Cl flux in the Madison, Yellowstone, Falls, and Snake Rivers. Over the last 30 years, the Cl flux in YNP Rivers has been calculated using discharge measurements and Cl concentrations determined in discrete water samples and it has been determined that approximately 12% of the Cl flux exiting YNP is from the Snake River. The relationship between electrical conductivity and concentrations of Cl and other geothermal solutes was quantified at a monitoring site located downstream from the thermal inputs in the Snake River. Beginning in 2012, continuous (15 min) electrical conductivity measurements have been made at the monitoring site. Combining continuous electrical conductivity and discharge data, the Cl and other geothermal solute fluxes were determined. The 2013–2015 Cl fluxes (5.3–5.8 kt/yr) determined using electrical conductivity are comparable to historical data. In addition, synoptic water samples and discharge data were obtained from sites along the Snake River under low-flow conditions of September 2014. The synoptic water study extended 17 km upstream from the monitoring site. Surface inflows were sampled to identify sources and to quantify solute loading. The Lewis River was the primary source of Cl, Na, K, Cl, SiO2, Rb, and As loads (50–80%) in the Snake River. The largest source of SO4 was from the upper Snake River (50%). Most of the Ca and Mg (50–55%) originate from the Snake Hot Springs. Chloride, Ca, Mg, Na, K, SiO2, F, HCO3, SO4, B, Li, Rb, and As behave conservatively in the Snake River, and therefore correlate well with conductivity (R2 ≥ 0.97).  相似文献

Continental slope sediment failures around the epicentre of the 1929 'Grand Banks' earthquake have been imaged with the SAR (Système Acoustique Remorqué) high-resolution, deep-towed sidescan sonar and sub-bottom profiler. The data are augmented by seismic reflection profiles, cores and observations from submersibles. Failure occurs only in water depths greater than about 650 m. Rotational, retrogressive slumps, on a variety of scales, appear to have been initiated on local steep areas of seabed above shallow (5–25 m) regional shear planes covering a large area of the failure zone. The slumps pass downslope into debris flows, which include blocky lemniscate bodies and intervening channels. Clear evidence of current erosion is found only in steep-sided valleys: we infer that debris flows passed through hydraulic jumps on these steep slopes and were transformed into turbidity currents which then evolved ignitively. Delayed retrogressive failure and transformation of debris flows into turbidity currents through hydraulic jumps provide a mechanism to produce a turbidity current with sustained flow over many hours.  相似文献

针对太原西山大佛现状,根据大佛所处的地形地貌、地质构造、气象水文条件和场地工程地质条件,分析了影响大佛边坡岩体稳定性的主要因素,提出了大佛边坡岩体可能遭受的主要工况类型。大佛边坡直立,边坡岩体为二叠系厚层砂岩,岩层近水平略向坡内倾斜。区域构造节理切割和临空卸荷使大佛岩体呈松动块状。基于强度折减法的二维有限差分稳定性分析表明,边坡边缘局部变形可能导致陡崖由反向坡变为顺向坡,从而使大佛边坡趋于滑动失稳。进一步运用拟静力法和极限平衡法分析了多种工况条件下大佛松动岩体边坡的顺层抗滑动稳定性和抗倾覆稳定性。分析表明,仅在地震力作用下大佛陡崖岩体不会发生顺层滑动破坏,但存在向外倾覆崩落的危险;在排水不畅的条件下松动岩体裂隙充水对大佛陡崖边坡的抗滑稳定性会有显著影响;在裂隙静水压力和水平地震力联合作用下,大佛陡崖将失稳破坏。  相似文献

采用重力活塞取样器在南四湖的独山湖和微山湖分别采取了两个湖底沉积剖面的样品。通过对湖底沉积物高分辨率的粒度、矿物、磁化率、有机碳、色素等环境指标和沉积年代学的综合研究 ,结合研究区的历史文献资料 ,探讨了南四湖形成近 2 5ka以来的水环境演变过程。研究表明 ,南四湖的形成和发展可分为 4个阶段 :初时 ,湖区为古泗水及其沿岸平原 ;西汉时期古泗水中下游段形成分散的湖沼地 ;唐—明代受黄河夺泗入淮和开挖京杭运河等人类活动的影响 ,湖沼扩张、合并 ;清同治 1 1年黄河大决于东明后 ,先后出现的南阳、昭阳、独山、微山四湖合并为统一的南四湖。  相似文献

The development of stratigraphic sequences has been demonstrated to be controlled by a set of factors including variations in subsidence, sediment input, eustatic sea level and physiography. Well and seismic data from the Jeanne d'Arc Basin, Grand Banks indicate that mid-Cretaceous tectonism controls at least three of these factors, namely subsidence, sediment input and physiography. North Atlantic rift tectonism was therefore the dominant factor in controlling the migration of coastal to shallow marine environments and the development of sequence stratigraphy in this basin during the mid-Cretaceous. The Avalon Formation respresents a mainly Barremian to Early Aptian regressive phase of clastic, marine to marginal marine sedimentation. This followed the deposition of a thick sequence of mainly marine limestones and shales of the Whiterose Formation above a mid-Valanginian sequence-bounding unconformity. The increased clastic input and northward progradation of coastal environments represented by the Avalon Formation occurred during uplift of a basement arch to the south with subsidence of the basin increasing to the north, accompanied by only relatively minor faulting. These features indicate that a period of epeirogenesis was initiated during the Barremian. Continuing uplift over an expanding area at the southern end of the basin is interpreted to have resulted in the development of an angular unconformity with incised valleys. This mid-Aptian unconformity defines the top of the Whiterose/Avalon sequence. Initiation of brittle fracturing of the sedimentary package and underlying basement (i.e. rifting) in mid-Aptian times resulted in rapid fault-controlled subsidence and fragmentation of the Jeanne d'Arc Basin. This great increase in subsidence rate caused retrogradation of coastal environments across the previously developed sequence-bounding unconformity, despite continuing high rates of sediment input from the uplifted basin margins. The transgressive, siliciclastic Ben Nevis Formation comprises two separate but related facies associations. A locally preserved basal association represents interfingering back-barrier environments and is herein defined as the Gambo Member. An upper, ubiquitous facies association comprises tidal-inlet channel, shoreface and lower shoreface/offshore transition sandstones. This upper facies association onlapped marine ravinement diastems above the laterally equivalent back-barrier facies. The rapid fault-controlled subsidence and high sediment input rate of this mid-Aptian to late Albian rift period resulted in the accumulation and preservation of very thick shoreface sandstones. The transgressive sandstones were buried by laterally equivalent offshore shales of the Nautilus Formation. Flooding of the basin margins induced by the onset of thermal subsidence in latest Albian or early Cenomanian times marks the top of the Ben Nevis/Nautilus syn-rift sequence.  相似文献

首先介绍了评估非市场物品价值最有效的方法--旅行费用法的理论基础,并提出了确定多目的地旅游权重和闲暇时间的机会成本的方法,计算得出乐山大佛景区的旅游权重为0.0774,时间机会价值取工资率的40%.以实际调查资料为基础,利用费用支出法计算得出乐山大佛景区2003年旅行费用支出为4.08亿元,利用机会成本法计算得出其旅游时间价值为0.67亿元,利用旅行费用法计算得出其消费者剩余为8.42亿元,国内旅游价值等于三者之和,为13.18亿元.表明乐山大佛的国内旅游价值是相当高的,其值主要受到旅行费用支出的影响,当然也受到国内外旅游业的发展形势、乐山地区的旅游政策、旅游规划及景点建设和管理等因素的影响.  相似文献

On 21 November 2004, about 1000 barrels of crude oil were accidentally released from the Terra Nova FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading) onto the Grand Banks, approximately 340 km east-southeast of St. John's, Newfoundland. We estimated the number of vulnerable seabirds (murres (Uria spp.) and dovekies (Alle alle)) at risk from this incident by multiplying observed densities of seabirds with the total area covered by the slick, estimated at 793 km(2). A mean density of 3.46 murres/km(2) and 1.07 dovekies/km(2) on the sea surface was recorded during vessel-based surveys on 28 and 29 November 2004, with a mean density of 6.90 murres/km(2) and 13.43 dovekies/km(2) combining those on the sea and in flight. We calculated a mean of 9858 murres and dovekies were at risk of being oiled, with estimates ranging from 3593 to 16,122 depending on what portion of birds in flight were assumed to be at risk. A mortality model based on spill volume was derived independently of the risk model, and estimated that 4688 (CI 95%: 1905-12,480) birds were killed during this incident. A low mortality estimate based strictly on spill volume would be expected for this incident, which occurred in an area of relatively high seabird densities. Given that the risk and mortality estimates are statistically indistinguishable, we estimate that on the order of 10,000 birds were killed by the Terra Nova spill.  相似文献

Changes in the limnology of two saline lakes, Lake Lenore and Soap Lake, in the lower Grand Coulee, Washington, between 1949 and the present are described. This paper is an abbreviated version of Chapter 11 in: W.T. Edmondson,The Uses of Ecology: Lake Washington and Beyond, pp. 209–226. University of Washington Press, Seattle. The book is based upon lectures given by the author inthe Jessie and John Danz Lectures. The considerable interest of studies on Lake Lenore and Soap Lake in the lower Grand Coulee, the authoritative account of these studies in the book, and the possibility that this account would not easily attract the attention of limnologists who study salt lakes were behind the decision to reproduce the chapter. Its reproduction has been graciously permitted by the author and the University of Washington Press. This permission is gratefully acknowledged. Whilst only Chapters 11 and 5 (Mono Lake) directly concern salt lakes, the book as a whole is an outstanding account of how limnological studies (with focus on those of Lake Washington) can serve humanity Ed.  相似文献
