We present the results of narrowband photoelectric observations of comet Hale-Bopp near perihelion, which were made with the AZT-14telescope at the station Lisniki of Kyiv University Astronomical Observatory. The standard set of IHW cometary filters was used. The total number of cometary observations was more than 500 during the interval March 13–April 29, 1997. The comet's nuclear gas production rates Q of C2 and C3 were calculated using the stellar calibration for these filters. The calculations used the Haser model for a neutral cometary atmosphere. The value Afρ, which is characteristic of the dust production rate, was determined too. Mean values of the production rates near perihelion are log Q(C2) = 28.4; log Q(C3) = 27.2; (Afρ)BC = 6.0. An attempt is made to analyze the existing system of astronomical constants within the general relativity theory (GRT) framework. The general conclusion is that, to avoid any confusion in the GRT compatible interpretation of units and constants, one should give precisely, with full post-Newtonian accuracy, the expressions of the metric forms describing the astronomical barycentric and geocentric reference systems used, for example, in IERS analysis of observations.Institute of Applied Astronomy, St. Petersburg, 197042, Russia  相似文献

Orthogonal rotations,e.g,the varimax rotation,are common practice in factor analysis.However,theterm varimax rotation does not refer to a unique procedure,since several different types of rotation arepossible.In this paper six different types of rotation are examined(raw varimax of loadings,normalvarimax of loadings,raw and normal varimax of scores,eigenvalue-weighted varimax of loadings andArthur varimax)from both a theoretical and practical point of view.It can be concluded that an adequateapplication of these methods can often simplify the interpretation of the calculated factors.  相似文献

1996年3月中旬,我们在观测海尔-波普彗星的同时,使用了云南天文台1m镜加新研制的1024×1024CCD照像机,对百武彗星也进行了照像观测。精密定位表明与最新的预报值仍有较大偏离。此时彗发已相当大,基本上轴对称。明显可见在对准太阳的相反方向有尾流物质喷出。但是我们发现,在短时间内,近核部分的尾向角就有变化,说明尾部湍流的波动非常激烈  相似文献

本文讨论了对早型星适用的密近双星子星自转同步化理论:Zahn的动力学潮汐机制;Tassoul的纯流体动力学理论与实测数据及统计性质的符合程度,对文(Ⅲ)中的39个不相接双星子星,均分别计算出了两种理论所预期的同步时标,估计了样本星的年龄,并分析、比较了各样本星的理论同步时标与年龄,以及自转同步性与它们之间的关系,结果表明:对大多数样本,动力学潮汐同步理论的计算结果与实测一致;而纯流体动力学同步机制预期的同步时标则偏小,大约平均偏小3个量级。因此,我们认为,在早型密近双星中,动力学潮汐是子星同步的最重要机制之一。  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the influence of the triaxiality of a celestialbody on its free rotation, i.e. in absence of any external gravitationalperturbation. We compare the results obtained through two different analytical formalisms, one established from Andoyer variables by usingHamiltonian theory, the other one from Euler's variables by usingLagrangian equations. We also give a very accurate formulation of thepolar motion (polhody) in the case of a small amplitude of this motion.Then, we carry out a numerical integration of the problem, with aRunge–Kutta–Felberg algorithm, and for the two kinds of methods above, that we apply to three different celestial bodies considered as rigid : the Earth, Mars, and Eros. The reason of this choice is that each of this body corresponds to a more or less triaxial shape.In the case of the Earth and Mars we show the good agreement betweenanalytical and numerical determinations of the polar motion, and theamplitude of the effect related to the triaxial shape of the body, whichis far from being negligible, with some influence on the polhody of theorder of 10 cm for the Earth, and 1 m for Mars. In the case of Eros, weuse recent output data given by the NEAR probe, to determine in detailthe nature of its free rotational motion, characterized by the presence ofimportant oscillations for the Euler angles due to the particularly largetriaxial shape of the asteroid.  相似文献
