裂变径迹定年标准化的研究

用钴活化箔对SRM962标准铀玻璃进行了刻度,并比较了用钴活化范和用经过刻度的标准铀玻璃测量中子注量的定年方法,结果表明后者的定年结果优于前者,两者都有正系统偏差。利用磷灰石、结石和榍石的7种年龄标准样品和SRM962标准铀玻璃进行多次刻度,发现3种年龄标准矿物的Zeta常数基本一致,为327.4±7.8(±2σ).     

配位滴定法同时测定金属离子浓度的研究

将多元校正分析法应用于配位滴定中，以ＥＤＴＡ为滴定剂，玻璃电极为指示电极，饱和甘汞电极为参比电极。依据电位滴定原理，对混合三组分：Ｃｕ￣（２＋）、Ｃｄ￣（２＋）、Ｚｎ￣（２＋）、及Ｃｕ￣（２＋）、ＣＯ￣（２＋）、Ｎｉ￣（２＋）进行测定，各金属离子之间的△ｌｏｇＫ在０．０４～２．３４之间，计算误差一般小于土１０％。     

CCD相机二维几何检校

CCD 相机检校是 CCD输入影象处理的一个必不可少的过程。本文对 CCD成象系统的几何性能进行了分析,提出了测定 CCD影象象素比例因子和象主点初值的简易实验方法。在此基础上,构造了一种同时顾及光、电误差的二维检校方法,井进行了相机检校实验。最后对检校结果进行了分析和讨论。

以合成的开链聚醚三(二环己酰胺)等中性载体制成了PVC膜Li~+电极,研究了载体结构、膜成分与电极性能的关系,在聚醚三酰胺的胺基中,以环己基取代直链的烷基,显著地改善了Li~+—载体的性能,以邻苯二甲酸二癸酯或其和二苄醚混合增塑的1,1,1—三[1′—(2′—氧杂—3′—二环己胺基羰基)丙基]丙烷Li~+—电极的线性响应范围为2×10~(-5)～10~(-1)mol/L LiCl,K_(Li+Na)~(pot)～8×10~(-3),以Mg(Ac)_2为离子强度调节缓冲剂,用标准比较法或样品加入法测定了LiCl—HCl—H_2O或LiCl—MgCl_2—HCl—H_2O体系中的Li~+,LiCl含量≥2％的样品,测定误差≤5％。     

A digital model to evaluate the water balance in a typical hardrock environment

A digital model was designed and developed to study the water balance situation in a typical hardrock environment near Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The model was calibrated over a period of six years with observed field hydrographs. An optimum error factor of 0.001 m was chosen and the computer took 47 iterations for outputting the results with the desired accuracy. Prognostic studies were carried out with progressively increasing draft conditions and water levels were observed to be declining even when the draft was less than the recharge. The analysis of the experiments further amended the belief of the earlier workers.

Gas chromatographic determination of peroxyacetyl nitrate: Two convenient calibration techniques

Two procedures for the calibration of an electron capture detector (ECD) for peroxyacetyl nitrate (PAN) are discussed. One is based on the first-order decay rate of the the PAN mixing ratio in conditioned glass storage vessels. The other method makes use of the photochemical generation of PAN in mixtures of acetone and NO₂ in air. For this purpose a Penray Hg lamp was inserted into a glass vessel filled with 1 atmosphere of air containing 10 ppm NO₂ and 1% acetone. After 3 min of irradiation, the average PAN mixing ratio formed was 8.87±0.25 ppmv as determined in six separate runs.

A numerically calibrated reference level (MP28) for the terrestrial mammal-based biozonation of the European Upper Oligocene

The fauna of the Enspel (Westerwald) and the neighbouring Kärlich (Neuwied basin) fossil deposits correspond to the Upper Oligocene Mammal Paleogene (MP) reference level 28 and 28–30, respectively. Basaltic flows and a trachyte tuff terminating and predating the fossil deposit sedimentation allow to numerically calibrate the MP reference levels by radioisotope dating. Laser fusion ⁴⁰Ar/³⁹Ar step heating on volcanic feldspars yield a time interval of 24.9–24.5 Ma for reference level MP28 at Enspel and a maximum age of 25.5 Ma for the time interval MP28–MP30 at Kärlich. Interpolation between the time intervals determined for the Enspel reference level MP28 and the age of the global Oligocene/Miocene boundary of 24.0 ± 0.1 Ma taken from literature results in time intervals of 24.5–24.2 Ma and 24.2–23.9 Ma for the younger reference levels MP29 and MP30, respectively. These intervals of ≤ 0.4 m.y. for MP reference levels of the latest Oligocene are short relative to older Oligocene MP reference levels 21–27 between 34 and 25 Ma. Since subdivision into MP reference levels essentially is based on assemblages of mammal taxa and on evolutionary changes in tooth morphology of mammals short MP time intervals during the latest Oligocene indicate a rapid evolutionary change relative to the early Oligocene.
