A global eddy-permitting ocean-ice coupled model with a horizontal resolution of 0.25 by 0.25 is established on the basis of Modular Ocean Model version 4 (MOM4) and Sea Ice Simulator (SIS). Simulation results are compared with those of an intermediate resolution ocean-ice coupled model with a horizontal resolution of about 1 by 1 . The results show that the simulated ocean temperature, ocean current and sea ice concentration from the eddy-permitting model are better than those from the intermediate resolution model. However, both the two models have the common problem of ocean general circulation models (OGCMs) that the majority of the simulated summer sea surface temperature (SST) is too warm while the majority of the simulated subsurface summer temperature is too cold. Further numerical experiments show that this problem can be alleviated by incorporating the non-breaking surface wave-induced vertical mixing into the vertical mixing scheme for both eddy-permitting and intermediate resolution models.  相似文献

阿尔金南缘鱼目泉岩浆混合花岗岩LA-ICP-MS测年与构造意义   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
阿尔金南缘鱼目泉花岗质岩体中含有大量暗色闪长质包体,岩相学及地球化学特征研究表明该岩体是由同期的幔源基性岩浆和酸性岩浆在近于液相(或"晶粥状")状态下发生不均匀混合作用的产物。LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb同位素测年结果显示其形成年龄(496.9±1.9Ma)与南阿尔金山大陆深俯冲超高压变质岩的峰期变质年龄(504~487Ma)相一致,且在地球化学特征上具有高Al2O3(平均15.88%),较高的K2O/Na2O值(平均1.26),高Sr(平均446×10-6),高(La/Yb)N值(平均24.04)和Sr/Y值(平均40),极低的Y(平均14.0×10-6)及Yb含量(平均1.5×10-6),类似于加厚地壳背景下形成的高Sr、低Y及Yb型花岗岩,反映出约500Ma时的南阿尔金造山带总体上处于地壳相互叠覆增厚的陆-陆碰撞造山作用阶段。分析认为,约500Ma时,南阿尔金山地区伴随着增厚地壳发生熔融作用产生大规模酸性岩浆活动的同时,还存在幔源基性岩浆的底侵,其原因可能与同时期大陆深俯冲作用所诱发的深部热地幔上升有关。  相似文献

Andesite magmatism plays a major role in continental crustal growth, but its subduction-zone origin and evolution is still a hotly debated topic. Compared with whole-rock analyses, melt inclusions (MIs) can provide important direct information on the processes of magma evolution. In this article, we synthesize data for melt inclusions hosted by phenocrysts in andesites, extracted from the GEOROC global compilation. These data show that melt inclusions entrapped by different phenocrysts have distinct compositions: olivine-hosted melt inclusions have basalt and basaltic andesite compositions, whereas melt inclusions in clinopyroxene and othopyroxene are mainly dacitic to rhyolitic. Hornblende-hosted melt inclusions have rhyolite composition. The compositions of melt inclusions entrapped by plagioclase are scattered, spanning from andesite to rhyolite. On the basis of the compositional data, we propose a mixing model for the genesis of the andesite, and a two-chamber mechanism to account for the evolution of the andesite. First, andesite melt is generated in the lower chamber by mixing of a basaltic melt derived from the mantle and emplaced in the lower crust with a felsic melt resulting from partial melting of crustal rocks. Olivine and minor plagioclase likely crystallize in the lower magma chamber. Secondly, the andesite melt ascends into the upper chamber where other phenocrysts crystallize. According to SiO2-MgO diagrams of the MIs, evolution of the andesite in the upper chamber can be subdivided into two distinct stages. The early stage (I) is characterized by a phenocrystal assemblage of clinopyroxene + othopyroxene + plagioclase, whereas the late stage (II) is dominated by crystallization of plagioclase + hornblende.  相似文献

The origin of magmas that are linked to economic mineralization in porphyry deposits formed in continental collisional belts is controversial. In this paper, we studied the mafic microgranular enclaves (MMEs) and their host monzogranite porphyries (HMPs) from the Dabu porphyry Cu–Mo deposit in southern Tibet. Zircon SHRIMP U–Pb ages indicate coeval formation for the MMEs and HMPs in middle Miocene time (~15 Ma). The MMEs have high Mg# (50.7–60.8), low SiO2 (53.2–62.5 wt.%), and high Cr (95–175 ppm) contents, with positive εHf(t) values ranging from +3.4 to +9.4. These results, along with the presence of phlogopite, suggest that the MMEs were most likely generated by partial melting of a metasomatic lithospheric mantle source region. The HMPs have high Sr/Y (88.2–135.7), La/Yb (25.0–31.9) ratios, and moderate Mg# (46.2–49.3) values. They have the same εHf(t) values (+3.3 to +7.7) with arc-like Palaeogene rocks. The HMPs also show typical arc magma characteristics such as enrichment in LILEs (e.g. Rb, Ba, Sr, and K) and depletion in HFSEs (e.g. Nb, Ta, Ti, Zr, and P). These results suggest a possible origin involving high-pressure remelting of thickened lower crustal arc cumulates related to earlier Neo-Tethyan subduction. The lower crustal arc cumulates dominated by garnet-bearing amphibolite facies could be the potential copper sources of the Dabu porphyry Cu–Mo deposit. Underplating of the mantle-derived mafic magmas could have provided heat input for melting of the hydrous lower crust. Reaction between the mafic and felsic magmas might have further increased Cu concentrations and contributed to subsequent mineralization.  相似文献

东昆仑造山带晚华力西期-印支期花岗质岩石中广泛发育暗色微粒包体.本文以东昆仑东段和勒冈希里克特花岗闪长岩体为例,对暗色微粒包体及其寄主岩进行了详细研究.包体的野外产出特征、形态、结构构造和矿物学特征表明,他们是基性岩浆进入中酸性岩浆快速冷凝结晶的产物,和寄主花岗岩有着相似的稀土元素配分模式,显示轻稀土富集,重稀土亏损,轻重稀土元素分馏明显的特征,微量元素蛛网图也具有明显的相似性,富集大离子亲石元素,亏损高场强元素,反映了岩浆混合作用的特征;LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb同位素年代学研究显示,暗色微粒包体的形成年龄为(224.9±4.1)Ma,与寄主岩的同位素年龄值(225±5)Ma在误差范围内一致,表明了在晚三叠世期间东昆仑地区存在着后碰撞阶段壳-幔岩浆混合作用.  相似文献
