The 1960-1991 monthly mean FSU (Florida State University)wind stress data are decomposed into a vortical and a divergent component with each of which to force the model ocean in the context of a two-layer tropical Pacific model.Evidence suggests that for the seasonal variation the ocean forcing does not produce a realistic cold tongue using either of the components and the tongue will not be effectively improved in its intensity and pattern even if the components are doubled or halved:the utilization of climatic mean wind stress(no decomposition is done of the wind stress)that contains its seasonal variation will lead to a realistic SST distribution on which is imposed,separately,the interannual anomalies of each of the components so as to get the SSTA pattern:under the action of the interannual anomaly of the vortical(divergent)component there arises qnite intense SSTA oscillation marked by noticeable ENSO periods(feeble SSTA with higher oscillation frequency for obscure ENSO periods),thereby illustrating that the roles of the two components differ from each other in the genesis of SST variation on a seasonal and an interannual basis such that a realistic cold tongue pattern follows under the joint effects on the model ocean of the two components of wind stress while rational E1 Nino/La Nina phenomena result under the forcing of an anomalous wind stress vortical component.Moreover,the divergent component is innegligible in generating a mean climatic condition of the ocean sector but of less importance compared to the vortical component in ENSO development.  相似文献

通过对半滑舌鳎雌鱼fosmid文库进行有序混合,成功构建了两步-三维PCR筛选体系,为后续的基因筛选奠定了基础。通过对半滑舌鳎W染色体文库序列进行引物设计,并分别在雌、雄鱼基因组DNA中筛选,获得1对雌鱼特异性引物。使用该引物对fosmid文库进行筛选,得到1个雌鱼特异性克隆,并通过荧光原位杂交技术将克隆定位到了W性染色体上,证实了使用该体系进行文库筛选的有效性以及雌鱼引物的特异性,建立了半滑舌鳎遗传性别的分子及细胞遗传学鉴定方法,为后续半滑舌鳎基因组及性染色体的研究奠定了基础。  相似文献

Salinity is a crucial environmental stress that severely affects fish growth and survival.Under environmental stress,DNA methylation plays an important role in gene expression and genome function.To better understand the epigenetic regulation mechanism of igf2 under low salinity stress,we analyzed the DNA methylation at 5’UTR,exon1,intron1,and exon2,and analyzed the relationship of DNA methylation with mRNA abundance as well as the special single CpG sites methylation patterns of igf2 in the liver of half smooth tongue sole under low salinity(15)for 0,7,and 60 d.When exposed to low salinity,DNA methylation at 5’UTR and exon2 remained stable,while it was up-regulated firstly and then down-regulated at exon1 and intron1.Some single CpG sites of igf2 associated with low salinity,and most of these sites with significantly changed methylation levels(P<0.05)are located in intron1 area.The discrepant variation of single CpG sites methylation levels and igf2 expression further revealed that females and males showed different response to low salinity.Remarkably,the 38-CpG site of intron1 servers as a sexual marker.Additionally,our integrative analysis demonstrated that regional DNA of igf2 methylation had highly complex interplay on gene expression.The single CpG sites in intron1 were indispensable epigenetic markers under external environmental stress.Above all,to resist the low salinity stress,half smooth tongue sole liver can regulate the expression of igf2 through methylation of CpG sites in intron1.  相似文献

The authors investigate the relationship between bias in simulated sea surface temperature (SST) in the equatorial eastern Pacific cold tongue during the boreal spring as simulated by an oceanic general circulation model (OGCM) and minimal wind mixing (MWM) at the surface. The cold bias of simulated SST is greatest during the boreal spring, at approximately 3°C. A sensitivity experiment reducing MWM by one order of magnitude greatly alleviates cold biases, especially in March-April. The decrease in bias is primarily due to weakened vertical mixing, which preserves heat in the uppermost layer and results in warmer simulated SST. The reduction in vertical mixing also leads to a weak westward current in the upper layer, which further contributes to warmer SST estimates. These findings imply that there are large uncertainties about simple model parameters such as MWM at the oceanic surface.  相似文献

The Güira de Jauco metamorphic sole, below the Moa-Baracoa ophiolite (eastern Cuba), contains strongly deformed amphibolites formed at peak metamorphic conditions of 650–660°C, approximately 8.6 kbar (~30 km depth). The geochemistry, based on immobile elements of the amphibolites, suggests oceanic lithosphere protholiths with a variable subduction component in a supra-subduction zone environment. The geochemical similarity and tectonic relations among the amphibolites and the basic rocks from the overlying ophiolite suggest a similar origin and protholith. New hornblende 40Ar/39Ar cooling ages of 77–81 Ma obtained for the amphibolites agree with this hypothesis, and indicate formation and cooling/exhumation of the sole in Late Cretaceous times. The cooling ages, geochemical evidence for a back-arc setting of formation of the mafic protoliths, and regional geology of the region allow proposal of the inception of a new SW-dipping subduction zone in the back-arc region of the northern Caribbean arc during the Late Cretaceous (ca. 90–85 Ma). Subduction inception was almost synchronous with the main plume pulse of the Caribbean–Colombian Oceanic Plateau (92–88 Ma) and occurred around 15 million years before arc-continent collision (75 Ma–Eocene) at the northern leading edge of the Caribbean plate. This chronological framework suggests a plate reorganization process in the region triggered by the Caribbean–Colombian mantle plume.  相似文献

地层学的研究是以地层单位的物质形式运作的。为了保持地层命名单位的稳定性,单位需要固定的名称。于是地层单位需要命名。命名必须由地层委员会进行立法并管理。近来,多种辞书性的中国地层名称出版物暴露出普遍缺乏对地层命名深入了解,遵守命名法的意识淡薄和侵犯命名优先权等现象。本文简要介绍地层命名法的必要性、科学性及其主要内容,并列举若干侵犯命名优先权的例证。  相似文献
