A strong low‐pressure system traveled along the Japanese main island Honshu in October 2006. High waves and storm surge attacked the Kashima Coast resulting in huge erosion over the area. Airborne laser data measured in October 2005 and November 2006 were analyzed to estimate cross‐sectional changes within the subaerial zone. The results of the alongshore distribution of the changes of cross‐sectional area indicate that the amount of erosion of the 38 km‐long northern and 15 km‐long southern parts decreased toward the south in each part and that the amount of erosion was smaller in protected areas with artificial headlands than in unprotected areas. The local alongshore variation of the erosion and accretion patterns showed wavy fluctuations of several hundreds of meters. The total amounts of the estimated eroded volume of the subaerial zone over the northern and southern parts were 620 000 m3 and 600 000 m3, respectively. The Simulating Waves Nearshore (SWAN) wave model was applied to estimate wave conditions along the coast during the storm. The computational results were verified, and then the alongshore distribution of wave energies, expressed as the alongshore and cross‐shore components of the wave energy flux, was compared with the alongshore distribution of cross‐sectional change. The results show that the distribution of energy flux explains the distribution of erosion well: The alongshore variability in the cross‐shore energy flux is responsible for the large‐scale variability in erosion, and shorter‐scale variability is due to gradients in the alongshore energy fluxes, especially for the areas without coastal works. The 1.2 Ga-old Koldaha shale, central India reveals three orders of depositional cyclicities in its basal storm-dominated shelf succession. Visual appraisal as well as Fourier and MEM analyses concurs in this respect. Only the major storm events at intervals of a few thousands of years have left recognizable imprints. Interbedding of storm sandstones and fairweather shales is apparently climate-controlled. Packaging of about seven such climatic cycles results the second-order cyclicity befitting eccentricity cycles of contemporary scale. Nonetheless, for the erratic storm bed-thickness trends within the cycles some other factor/s might have played a role. 根据2006年夏季福建沿岸4个海洋观测站和福建近海5个潜标水位观测站的水位观测资料,分析了在4个热带气旋影响下的福建近海风暴潮特征.结果表明:福建沿岸海域的台风风暴潮大小不完全取决于台风强弱,与大风半径关系密切.若台风大风区覆盖整个台湾海峡,福建沿岸海域增水都较大,比如0604号强热带风暴“碧利斯”的大风区较大,由其引起厦门海洋观测站的最大增水高度达114em.0608号超强台风“桑美”和0609号强热带风暴“宝霞”双台风的大风区都比较小,由其引起的各测站增水相对也较小,增水高度最大的厦门海洋观测站只有52em.比较福建近海潜标水位观测站及其附近的海洋观测站采用11点(11h)滑动平均后的最大增水可知,福建近海潜标观测站台风增水高度(22~46cm)比沿岸海洋观测站的台风增水高度(62—73em)小40%左右.这表明台风增水有个向岸堆积的过程,即测站离岸越远,台风增水高度就越小.位于热带气旋(0605号台风“格关”)行进路径右侧的测站增水较大(平潭海洋观测站极值增水高度为49em,崇武海洋观测站极值增水高度为55em),位于热带风暴行进路径左侧的测站增水较小(东山海洋观测站极值增水高度为45cm).通过对0604号强热带风暴“碧利斯”引起的各测站增水滤除高频振荡后,福建沿岸海洋观测站最大增水高度从大到小依次为崇武站(74orfl)、平潭站(73em)、厦门站(68om)、东山站(62cm),可见距离热带风暴中心越近(距离热带风暴中心从近到远依次为平潭、崇武、厦门、东山海洋观测站),增水高度越大,反之,增水高度越小.台湾海峡地形和福建沿岸海域地形容易出现双(多)增水峰现象.通过对各测站台风增水时间序列进行最大熵谱分析可知,热带气旋容易引起福建沿岸和近海各测站台风增水出现周期为12.0h的振荡. 相似文献

Based on dynamic response signals a damage detection algorithm is developed for marine risers. Damage detection methods based on numerous modal properties have encountered issues in the researches in offshore oil community. For example, significant increase in structure mass due to marine plant/animal growth and changes in modal properties by equipment noise are not the result of damage for riser structures. In an attempt to eliminate the need to determine modal parameters, a data-based method is developed. The implementation of the method requires that vibration data are first standardized to remove the influence of different loading conditions and the autoregressive moving average (ARMA) model is used to fit vibration response signals. In addition, a damage feature factor is introduced based on the autoregressive (AR) parameters. After that, the Euclidean distance between ARMA models is subtracted as a damage indicator for damage detection and localization and a top tensioned riser simulation model with different damage scenarios is analyzed using the proposed method with dynamic acceleration responses of a marine riser as sensor data. Finally, the influence of measured noise is analyzed. According to the damage localization results, the proposed method provides accurate damage locations of risers and is robust to overcome noise effect. 相似文献

针对含初始缺陷的既有地铁隧道受邻近穿越隧道施工影响的首都地铁隧道工程背景,基于有限差分方法,通过对既有地铁车站结构受邻近隧道穿越后的抗震性能研究,揭示其抗震动力响应机理。结果表明,在邻近隧道穿越影响下,含初始缺陷的既有隧道各薄弱控制点在地震作用下位移和应力动力时程的波动趋势具有相似性,说明衬砌结构是整体运动的,其位移、应力较穿越前均有所增加,边墙和仰拱在穿越后抗震性能影响最大,剪切破坏主要以车站结构周边土体为主,新线穿越后其剪切破坏分布范围有所增大,应进行注浆加固处理,与自身结构刚度相匹配,提高抗震能力。 相似文献

Coupled Dynamic Response Analysis of A Multi-Column Tension-Leg-Type Floating Wind Turbine 总被引:1,自引:3,他引:1
This paper presents a coupled dynamic response analysis of a multi-column tension-leg-type floating wind turbine (WindStar TLP system) under normal operation and parked conditions. Wind-only load cases, wave-only load cases and combined wind and wave load cases were analyzed separately for the WindStar TLP system to identify the dominant excitation loads. Comparisons between an NREL offshore 5-MW baseline wind turbine installed on land and the WindStar TLP system were performed. Statistics of selected response variables in specified design load cases (DLCs) were obtained and analyzed. It is found that the proposed WindStar TLP system has small dynamic responses to environmental loads and it thus has almost the same mean generator power output under operating conditions as the land-based system. The tension mooring system has a sufficient safety factor, and the minimum tendon tension is always positive in all selected DLCs. The ratio of ultimate load of the tower base fore-aft bending moment for the WindStar TLP system versus the land-based system can be as high as 1.9 in all of the DLCs considered. These results will help elucidate the dynamic characteristics of the proposed WindStar TLP system, identify the difference in load effect between it and land-based systems, and thus make relevant modifications to the initial design for the WindStar TLP system. 相似文献
