In the present study,a semi-implicit finite difference model for non-bydrostatic,free-surface flows is analyzed and discussed.The governing equations are the three-dimensional free-surface Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations defined on a general,irregular domain of arbitrary scale.At outflow,a combination of a sponge layer technique and a radiation boundary condition is applied to minimize wave reflection.The equations are solved with the fractional step method where the hydrostatic pressure component is determined first,while the non-hydrostatic component of the pressure is computed from the pressure Poisson equation in which the coefficient matrix is positive definite and symmetric.The advectiou and horizontal viscosity terms are discretized by use of a semi-Lagrangian approach.The resulting model is computationally efficient and unrestricted to the CFL condition.The developed model is verified against analytical solutions and experimental data,with excellent agreement. 相似文献

Coral reefs are increasingly threatened by anthropogenic disturbances and consequently coral cover and complexity are declining globally. However, bioeroding sponges, which are the principal agents of internal bioerosion on many coral reefs, are increasing in abundance on some degraded reefs, tipping them towards net carbonate erosion. The aim of this study was to identify the environmental factors that drive the erosion rates of the common Indonesian bioeroding sponge Spheciospongia cf. vagabunda . Sponge explants were attached to limestone blocks and deployed across seven sites characterized by different environmental conditions in the UNESCO Wakatobi Biosphere Reserve in Indonesia. Average bioerosion rates were 12.0 kg m?2 sponge tissue year?1 (±0.87 SE ), and were negatively correlated with depth of settled sediment (r = ?.717, p < .01) and showed weak positive correlation with water movement (r = .485, p = .012). Our results suggest that although bioeroding sponges may generally benefit from coral reef degradation, bioerosion rates may be reduced on reefs that are impacted by high sedimentation, which is a common regional stressor in the South‐East Asian Indo‐Pacific. 相似文献

Precious corals represent peculiar substrata for several species of boring sponges that exploit their carbonatic scleraxis, strongly decreasing their commercial value. Here we describe a new species of the genus Alectona from Japan recorded in a colony of Paracorallium japonicum (Kishinouye, 1903). The spicular complement of the new species consists of diactinal spicules covered by mushroom-like tubercles, often modified into styloid forms, and fusiform amphiasters with two or sometimes four verticils, each generally made up of six short tubercled rays. A complete survey of the literature on boring sponges recorded in precious corals in the Mediterranean Sea and Pacific Ocean indicates that the species of the family Alectonidae are the most strictly associated to this kind of substratum. In this work we analyse the ultrastructure and behaviour of two representative types of parenchymella sponge larvae: the evenly ciliated larva of Scopalina lophyropoda , and the tufted larva of Cacospongia mollior . We sought to find correlates of the dispersal abilities and distribution patterns of these species. Laboratory experiments were performed under two different conditions of water movement (still water and a slight oscillatory movement), and at different times of the larval life-span. Larvae of S. lophyropoda were motionless most of the time, maintaining a vertical posture and rotating on their main axis, and they did not respond to directional light. Larvae of C. mollior were active swimmers that responded negatively to light stimuli. In both cases, movement decreased as the larval age increased. Ultrastructurally, C. mollior larvae were more compact, with more reserves and abundant collagen bundles. Desmosome-like structures were seen connecting the apical parts of the ciliated surface in both species. Two different types of putative light-sensitive structures were found. Both structural and behavioural characteristics favour a greater dispersal capability for C. mollior and a philopatric dispersal mode for S. lophyropoda . 通过建立α-葡萄糖苷酶抑制剂筛选模型,对美国圣璜岛海域海绵共附生微生物发酵产物进行活性筛选.其中,α-葡萄糖苷酶活性测试反应体系是在96孔酶标板中进行,在α-葡萄糖苷酶浓度为0.008 U/cm3,pH值为6.8,反应温度为37℃及测定生成物波长为405 nm的基础上,优化筛选模型.结果表明,模型的最佳筛选条件:底物PNPG的浓度为10 mmol/dm3、活性测试反应时间为25min,样品溶剂DMSO含量为2%(V/V).以α-葡萄糖苷酶抑制剂阿卡波糖作为阳性对照样品,根据优化后的抑制活性筛选模型对212株海绵共附生微生物的粗提物样品进行筛选.结果表明:19株微生物的粗提物抑制率大于50%;其中,抑制活性最高的5株菌株的粗提物,在浓度为0.4、0.6、0.8 mg/cm3时,其抑制活性均在70%以上,远远高于阿卡波糖的最高抑制率58%(1.6 mg/cm3).其中菌株HY936粗提物浓度在0.4 mg/cm3时,仍具有很高的α-葡萄糖苷酶抑制率79.3%.通过16SrDNA序列测定与分析,鉴定该菌株为坚强芽孢杆菌(Bacillus firmus).坚强芽孢杆菌代谢产物能显著抑制α-葡萄糖苷酶活性,这为研制新型α-葡萄糖苷酶抑制剂提供了有力的线索,对坚强芽孢杆菌有待作进一步的研究. 相似文献

The present study aimed at assessing the antifouling activity of bacteria associated with marine sponges. A total of eight bacterial strains were isolated from the surface of sponge Sigmadocia sp., of them, SS02, SS05 and SS06 showed inhibitory activity against biofilm-forming bacteria. The extracts of these 3 strains considerably affected the extracellular polymeric substance producing ability and adhesion of biofilm-forming bacterial strains. In addition to disc diffusion assay, microalgal settlement assay was carried out with the extracts mixed with polyurethane wood polish and coated onto stainless steel coupons. The extract of strain SS05 showed strong microalgal settlement inhibitory activity. Strain SS05 was identified as Bacillus cereus based on its 16S rRNA gene. Metabolites of the bacterial strains associated with marine invertebrates promise to be developed into environment-friendly antifouling agents. 相似文献

海绵城市建设过程中,根据城市所处区域的地形地貌、地质条件等特点,选择适宜的海绵城市设施类型是其关键问题之一。本研究以某航空港海绵城市拟建片区为研究对象,在广泛收集和分析研究区有关地质、水文地质资料的基础上对海绵城市建设影响因素进行分析,并建立指标评价体系;从地表适宜性、包气带适宜性以及含水层适宜性3个方面,选择7个影响因子作为海绵城市建设地质适宜性评价指标,利用层次分析法对各影响因子进行权重赋值;在对各影响因子分级评分的基础上,利用ARCGIS按照建立的指标评价体系进行加权叠加评分,根据评分结果选择海绵城市雨水管理的适宜设施。研究表明:地质与水文地质条件对雨水的入渗、地下储存和传导有显著影响,海绵城市建设应充分利用地质与水文地质条件,合理设计低影响开发(LID)工程设施的类型和建设方案;其中,包气带渗透性能和包气带厚度是海绵城市建设地质适宜性的最主要因素,决定着以雨水入渗为主要功能的LID设施建设的适宜性。 相似文献
