本文利用CHAMP卫星加速度仪测量数据,计算和分析2003年11月20~21日大磁暴期间大气质量密度扰动的全球分布特征;研究暴时变化与极区大尺度对流引起的全球焦耳加热总功率及环电流指数SYM-H之间的关系.结果表明,磁暴期间400 km高度上热层大气质量密度大幅度上升, NRLMSISE-00模式预测值与此相比有很大差别;暴时大气密度的增大存在昼/夜半球不对称性:白天强于夜晚,且白天随纬度的分布呈现出比较复杂的图像,在赤道附近和南半球中低纬区(10°N ~50°S)大气密度增大较强,并呈双峰分布,两个峰分别位于0°和45°S,另外在极区也出现大气密度扰动的局部极大,而在夜晚,大气密度变化南北半球比较对称,在赤道低纬区大气密度增大较强;互相关分析表明,中低纬区大气密度变化滞后于全球焦耳加热总功率3~7 h,滞后于环电流指数(SYM-H)0~3 h,与二者存在很强的相关,表明极区焦耳加热和赤道环电流过程对暴时热层大气密度扰动有重要影响. 相似文献

We describe a semi-analytical averaging method aimed at the computation of the motion of an artificial satellite of the Moon.
In this paper, the first of the two part study, we expand the disturbing function with respect to the small parameters. In
particular, a semi-analytic theory of the motion of the Moon around the Earth and the libration of the lunar equatorial plane
using different reference frames are introduced. The second part of this article shows that the choice of the canonical Poincaré
variables lead to equations in closed form without singularities in e = 0 or I = 0. We introduce new expressions that are
sufficiently compact to be used for the study of any artificial satellite.

Fully normalized spherical cap harmonics: application to the analysis of sea-level data from TOPEX/POSEIDON and ERS-1 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
We introduce two sets of fully normalized harmonics for the spectral analysis of functions defined on a spherical cap. The harmonics are the products of Fourier functions and the fully normalized associated Legendre functions of non-integer degree. Using Sturm-Liouville theory for boundary-value problems, we present two convenient and stable formulae for computing the zeros of the associated Legendre functions that form two sets of orthogonal functions. Formulae for the stable numerical evaluation of the fully normalized associated Legendre functions of non-integer degree that avoid the gamma function are also derived. The result from the expansions of sea-level anomaly from altimetry into Set 2 fully normalized cap harmonics shows fast convergence of the series, and the degree variances decay rapidly without aliasing effects. The zero-degree coefficients (Set 2) of sea-level anomaly from TOPEX/ POSEIDON (T/P) and ERS-1 indicate an El Niño event during 1993 January-1993 July, and a La Niño event during 1993 November-1994 July, although the ERS-1 result is less obvious. Ocean circulations over the South China Sea and the Kuroshio area are clearly identified with the low-degree expansions of sea-surface topography (SST) from T/P and ERS-1. A cold-core eddy of 4° in diameter centred at 17.5°N, 118 E was detected with the expansion of SST from T/P cycle 47, and a property of the cap harmonics is used to compute this eddy's kinetic energy. The kinetic energy is at a low in winter and high in summer, and its variation seems to be periodic with an amplitude of 0.4 m2 S-2 . 相似文献

21世纪以来全球变暖进入停滞时期,研究表明,大量热量进入海洋深层是导致全球平均表面温度暂缓上升的主要原因。本文估计和研究了2002.4-2014.12间由热膨胀导致的海平面变化趋势,以此来探测海洋热含量的变化情况。研究使用GRACE重力卫星CSR RL05数据计算了全球海洋的水质量变化,并结合海平面异常数据,计算了由热量变化导致的海平面变化(Net SLA)。将Net SLA与Ishii温度数据计算的海洋热含量进行相关性分析后表明,Net SLA与海洋热含量存在高度相关性,相关系数最大值达0.95。考虑到海洋观测只能表现海洋上层2000m的热含量变化,而除去水质量变化的海平面变化则反映了整层海洋的热含量变化,是估计海洋增暖趋势快慢的有利工具。经计算得出,2002至2014年间南太平洋和南印度洋存在加速增暖趋势,而近年来南半球环状模的增强是导致其增暖的主要原因。 相似文献

以中国气象局提供的地面观测站点逐小时降水数据为基准数据,综合评估了目前国际上主流的高分辨率多卫星遥感降水在2015年强台风灿鸿所带来的极端降水事件中的表现。结果表明:1所有的卫星遥感降水产品在此次极端降水事件中对实际降水都存在着低估,其中IMERG系列下经过校正的Final产品IMERG-Final-Calibrated表现得最好;2IMERG-Late-Calibrated在实时产品中表现最好,一定程度上可以满足极端降水事件监测对实时性的要求;3总的来说,在此次极端降水事件中,不管是滞时类产品还是实时类产品,IMERG系列卫星降水的表现均要好于TMPA系列下卫星降水的表现。 相似文献

Remote sensing technology has been widely recognized for contributing to emergency response efforts after the World Trade
Center attack on September 11th, 2001. The need to coordinate activities in the midst of a dense, yet relatively small area,
made the combination of imagery and mapped data strategically useful. This paper reviews the role played by aerial photography,
satellite imagery, and LIDAR data at Ground Zero. It examines how emergency managers utilized these datasets, and identifies
significant problems that were encountered. It goes on to explore additional ways in which imagery could have been used, while
presenting recommendations for more effective use in future disasters and Homeland Security applications. To plan adequately
for future events, it was important to capture knowledge from individuals who responded to the World Trade Center attack.
In recognition, interviews with key emergency management and geographic information system (GIS) personnel provide the basis
of this paper. Successful techniques should not be forgotten, or serious problems dismissed. Although widely used after September
11th, it is important to recognize that with better planning, remote sensing and GIS could have played an even greater role.

Month-Long Simulations of Gravity Waves over North America and North Atlantic in Comparison with Satellite Observations 下载免费PDF全文
Mesoscale simulations of gravity waves in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere over North America and North Atlantic Ocean in January 2003 are compared with satellite radiance measurements from the Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit-A (AMSU-A). Four regions of strong gravity wave (GW) activities are found in the model simulations and the AMSU-A observations: the northwestern Atlantic, the U.S. Rockies, the Appalachians, and Greenland. GWs over the northwestern Atlantic Ocean are associated with the midlatitude baroclinic jet-front system, while the other three regions are apparently related to high topography. Model simulations are further used to analyze momentum fluxes in the zonal and meridional directions. It is found that strong westward momentum fluxes are prevalent over these regions over the whole period. Despite qualitative agreement between model simulations and satellite measurements, sensitivity experiments demonstrate that the simulated GWs are sensitive to the model spin-up time. 相似文献
