The impact of road‐generated runoff on the hydrological response of a zero‐order basin was monitored for a sequence of 24 storm events. The study was conducted in a zero‐order basin (C1; 0·5ha) with an unpaved mountain road; an adjacent unroaded zero‐order basin (C2; 0·2 ha) with similar topography and lithology was used to evaluate the hydrological behaviour of the affected zero‐order basin prior to construction of the road. The impact of the road at the zero‐order basin scale was highly dependent on the antecedent soil‐moisture conditions, total storm precipitation, and to some extent rainfall intensity. At the beginning of the monitoring period, during dry antecedent conditions, road runoff contributed 50% of the total runoff and 70% of the peak flow from the affected catchment (C1). The response from the unroaded catchment was almost insignificant during dry antecedent conditions. As soil moisture increased, the road exerted less influence on the total runoff from the roaded catchment. For very wet conditions, the influence of road‐generated runoff on total outflow from the roaded catchment diminished to only 5·4%. Both catchments, roaded and unroaded, produced equivalent amount of outflow during very wet antecedent conditions on a unit area basis. The lag time between the rainfall and runoff peaks observed in the unroaded catchment during the monitoring period ranged from 0 to 4 h depending on the amount of precipitation and antecedent conditions, owing mainly to much slower subsurface flow pathways in the unroaded zero‐order basin. 为了建立江汉平原沉积物示踪的磁学模型,对汇入江汉平原的主要河流现代沉积物磁学特征进行了研究,结果表明:(1)在江汉平原范围内,无论长江、汉江,还是周边的漳河、沮水、玛瑙河和清江,它们的现代沉积物的磁学参数特征均显示出明显的差异,而且和源区表壳岩性也显示出极好的相关性;(2)长江和汉江现代沉积物中铁磁性矿物均以亚铁磁性矿物为主,它们主导了样品的磁性特征,但长江沉积物比汉江沉积物亚铁磁性矿物含量高;(3)长江和汉江沉积物的亚铁磁性矿物晶粒都以假单畴-多畴为主,并且长江沉积物磁性颗粒总体上要比汉江的粗;(4)在汇入江汉平原的主要支流中,汉江的亚铁磁性矿物含量远远高于其他支流,且磁性矿物的晶粒也比其他支流的粗;(5)除汉江以外的支流中,玛瑙河沉积物中磁性矿物的晶粒比较细且不完全反铁磁性矿物含量较高,漳河中的超顺磁物质含量较高,而清江中不完全反铁磁性矿物含量较高且磁性矿物的晶粒相对较粗.上述结果表明,在江汉平原利用沉积物的磁学特征可达到沉积物物源示踪的目的. 相似文献

At present, embankment longitudinal cracks are a major problem in highways through permafrost regions, and seriously affect traffic safety and the normal operations of the highway. In the past, roadbed height in permafrost regions was relatively low, and embankment cracks were rare and did not affect traffic safety. Thus, highway designers and researchers paid little attention to this problem, and they knew very little about distribution laws and mechanism of embankment longitudinal cracks. Due to this lack of knowledge, there is no uniform opinion on this problem, making it difficult to find measures that will mediate the impact of longitudinal cracks. Temperature is a major factor that affects and controls embankment stability in permafrost regions, especially in ice-rich and high-temperature regions, and solar radiation is the principal factor that determines surface temperatures. Under higher embankment, the difference of temperature will be larger between a sunny slope and a shady slope. Hence, the probability for longitudinal cracks generation is higher. In this paper, a survey and analysis of longitudinal cracks along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway were carried out. The longitudinal cracks are found to be related to the road strikes. Solar radiation is considered to play an important role in the generation of longitudinal cracks. 相似文献

远洋粘土、硅藻软泥、铁锰结核及结壳是常见的深海沉积成因物质类型,在开展深海地质调查工作时及时获得这些物质的成分信息,对于提升海上地质调查效率和认知能力十分重要。通过便携式X射线荧光光谱法(pXRF)对菲律宾海深水区域60个样品进行分析,并结合实验室测试结果,评估pXRF能测出的24种元素含量数据的稳定性、准确性及相关性,探讨pXRF在海上地质调查工作中对于深海沉积物现场成分快速检测的适用性。通过综合对比研究发现,Ca、Cu、Fe、K、P、Pb、Sr、Zn、Zr九种元素稳定性、准确性和相关性较好,可以直接用于定性乃至定量研究工作。Al、Ba、Mn、Mo、Ni、Rb、Si、Ti、Th、V十种元素的三项指标参数等级略低,可用于含量高低判定和趋势分析等定性研究工作。Bi、Cs、Mg、Sb、Sc五种元素的测试效果较差,本法不建议使用。取样量充足且分布均匀、湿样烘干至恒量后研磨过筛、封装时充分压实平整、测试时间增长、选择合适的标准物质校正和检验、重点和异常样品增加测试次数等措施的执行有利于获得高精度的pXRF海上测试数据。未来对更多类型和数量深海样品开展pXRF现场分析,将有利于建立更精准的测试方法流程,达到现场快速揭示样品成分特征、确定底质类型及圈定矿化异常等目的,为海上关键决策的部署和实施提供参考和借鉴。 相似文献

巢湖表层沉积物中生物易降解物质成分特征与分布规律 总被引:2,自引:1,他引:2
富营养化湖泊的藻类残体大量沉降到湖底,其中易降解成分的降解和转化快速消耗底层水体中的溶解氧,极易造成水土界面缺氧,影响湖泊生态系统的健康.于2014年对巢湖12个样点的表层沉积物进行周年跟踪研究,分析样品中有机质来源、总有机碳(TOC)、蛋白质、总糖、总脂以及生物聚合物碳(BPC)等成分含量,揭示易降解有机质的成分特征及在巢湖的分布规律.研究表明:巢湖表层沉积物TOC含量较高,全湖样点平均含量达到1.24%.BPC含量占TOC含量的30.99%~60.48%,有机质中易降解成分含量较高,并且在冬季和夏季时在巢湖西北部湖区有明显累积;有机质及其中的生物易降解部分均主要集中在粒径4~8μm的表层沉积物上,在应用工程技术手段处理、降解表层沉积物中的过量有机质时,更应该关注粒径为4~8μm的沉积物颗粒. 相似文献

为了研究冻融作用下外加材料稳定土的力学性能,以一种国产土壤固化剂(TG固化剂)加固低剂量水泥石灰稳定土为研究对象,通过冻融前后的无侧限抗压强度试验、劈裂强度试验和抗压回弹模量试验,研究不同压实度、聚丙烯纤维(PPF)掺量稳定土的力学性能。结果表明:稳定土的抗压强度、劈裂强度及回弹模量均随冻融次数的增加而降低,经历6次冻融循环后,强度、模量损失率基本稳定。冻融前后稳定土的抗压强度、劈裂强度、抗压回弹模量以及强度、模量的残留百分比均随着压实度和PPF掺量的提高而增大。结合工程实际情况,选取压实度为95%,0.2% PPF综合稳定土进行冻融试验,得到抗压强度残留比(BDR)达到59.32%,质量变化率仅为6.28%,研究表明,PPF综合稳定土具有优良的冻稳定性,可用作路面基层材料。 相似文献

Geological and geochemical study has been carried out to investigate arsenic contamination in groundwater in Nawalparasi, the western Terai district of Nepal. The work carried out includes analyses of core sediments, provenance study by rare earth elements analyses, 14C dating, and water analyses. Results showed that distribution of the major and trace elements are not homogeneous in different grain size sediments. Geochemical characteristics and sediment assemblages of the arsenic contaminated (Nawalparasi) and uncontaminated (Bhairahawa) area have been compared. Geochemical compositions of sediments from both the areas are similar; however, water chemistry and sedimentary facies vary significantly. Extraction test of sediment samples showed significant leaching of arsenic and iron. Chemical reduction and contribution from organic matter could be a plausible explanation for the arsenic release in groundwater from the Terai sediments. 相似文献
