南海巽他陆坡晚更新世以来的微体化石和古环境   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:2  
柱状样 182 88- 2采自于南海南部巽他陆坡 (5°4 4′N、 110°4 4′E,水深 788m ,柱长 6 .8m ) ,通过与邻近柱状样同位素的对比 ,其揭示了末次冰盛期以来的沉积。柱状样中指示水深较大的介形类和浮游有孔虫丰度自下而上呈现明显增加的趋势 ,而指示水深较浅的介形类丰度及介形虫 /浮游有孔虫比值和底栖有孔虫在有孔虫全群中的丰度都呈下降趋势 ,反映了研究区末次冰盛期以来海面上升和海水加深的过程。这两类的变化在 YD至全新世早期最为显著 ,与该时期海面快速上升造成的环境急剧变化相对应。异地介形虫广见于末次冰期和全新世早期的沉积中 ,反映冰期低海面和冰后期海侵初期频繁发生源于陆架的顺坡搬运。依据末次冰期沉积中含较多的底栖有孔虫 Uvigerina和 Bulimina、介形虫 Polycope和 Cytherella,及底栖有孔虫 U.peregrina较低的δ1 3C,推测冰期低海面时底层水状况为低氧和高营养 ,在冰盛期尤为发育  相似文献

湖泊沉积物中的枝角类微化石能够在一定程度上反映历史时期水体中的枝角类种群动态,从而具有重要的环境指示意义.通过对太湖(马山附近)沉积物中枝角类微化石的初步研究,尝试反演了所研究湖区近百年来水体环境的演化过程.并对枝角类种群动态的驱动因素进行了分析.从沉积物中共鉴定出10属14种枝角类,其中象鼻溞属占绝对优势,相对丰度平均值高达95.4%尖额潘属次之为4.2%;盘肠潘属以及其他枝角类不到1%.研究结果显示,随沉积深度自下而上变化,喜好富营养水体环境的B.longtrostris cornuta和A.rectangula的丰度逐渐增加,而偏贫-中营养环境的A.intrmedia的丰度则逐渐下降,表明水体营养水平处于逐渐上升的过程,其中表层3cm以上枝角类绝对丰度的急剧下降和A.intermedia 的完全消失表明,20世纪80年代末期以来水体急剧富营养化;另外枝角类敞水区种类与沿岸带种类的数量比(肌)随沉积深度的变化也在一定程度上反映了太湖水深,水面积的变化以及20世纪80年代末期以来的水体富营养化状况.研究结果同时也表明,20世纪60年代以前,自然环境条件为影响枝角类种群动态的主控因素,此后人类活动的影响越来越明显并最终成为枝角类种群动态的决定性因素.  相似文献

Quantitative analyses of microfossils and stable isotopic analysis were carried out for Core SCS-12 in the southwestern slope of the South China Sea (SCS). A high-resolution paleoceanographic record for the last 13 ka was revealed with the AMS14C dates. The southern SCS has experienced stepwise paleoceanographic changes since the last deglaciation. The oxygen isotopic stage 1/2 boundary around 12.05 ka B. P. and the end of the last deglaciation around 7.70 ka B.P. are two rapid change periods (corresponding to the terminationIa and terminationIb, respectively), in between is a slow change period. The authors infer that the sea level stood at - 110 m before the terminationIa, roughly the same as today after the termination IB, and about - 50 m in between. Subsequently, the average winter sea surface temperature and salinity obviously increased while paleo-productivity decreased since 12.05 ka B.P. The early Holocene CaCO3 preservation spike, coupled with a high abundance of pteropoda and CaCO3 content, occurred around 7.70 ka B. P. Mesoproterozoic (∼ 1600 Ma old) Salkhan Limestone (Semri Group) of the Vindhyan Supergroup, exposed in Rohtas district of Bihar, India, preserves an abundant and varied ancient microbial assemblage. These microfossils are recorded in three distinctly occurring cherts viz., bedded chert, stromatolitic chert and cherty stromatolites. 27 morphoforms belonging to 14 genera and 21 species have been recognized. Six unnamed forms are also described. The microbial assemblage, almost exclusively composed of the remnants of cyanobacteria, is dominated by entophysalidacean members and short trichomes and can be termed as ‘typical Mesoproterozoic microbiotas’. The assemblage includes characteristic mat-forming scytonematacean and entophysalidacean cyanobacteria.Eoentophysalis is the dominant organism in the assemblage. Ellipsoidal akinetes of nostocalean cyanobacteria(Archaeollipsoides) and spherical unicells also occur; both are distinct from mat forming assemblage, allochthonous and possibly planktic. Co-occurrence of the microbiotas and precipitates is related to the depositional environment of the Mesoproterozoic tidal flats with high carbonate saturation.  相似文献

回顾二十年来我国古生代鱼类微体化石的研究工作,该项研究由起步而后成为我国古生代鱼类研究工作的一个重要组成部分,填补了鱼类大化石涉足不到的许多研究领域、也填补了我国古生代微体化石研究中脊椎动物微体化石(主要指无颌类和鱼类,也简称为鱼类)这一重要的空白。我国已发现的古生代鱼类微体化石产自属于不同相区的54个岩组中,包括无颌类和鱼类共7个亚纲的化石。对这些鱼类微体化石进行了形态学、古组织学、生物矿物学、分类学和系统发育学的研究;在此基础上进行了生物年代学、生物地层学和界线层型的研究,特别是建立了志留纪、泥盆纪和石炭纪鱼类微体化石组合序列,个别成熟的岩段建立了生物带;研究了泥盆系-石炭系界线和二叠系-三叠系界线上下的鱼类微体化石;长兴煤山二叠纪末鱼类的集群绝灭发生的很晚,持续的时间很短,规模很大,绝灭率高达93%;华南早三叠世鱼类的复苏和辐射相当快,从绝灭期到辐射期仅用了1.3Myr到4Myr;塔里木盆地中古生代红色岩系应属于一种滨海环境、塔塔埃尔塔格组和依木干他乌组含软骨鱼群地层的时代为早志留世特里奇期(Telychian);利用贵州和塔里木盆地存在相近的软骨鱼群成功地进行了海相—非海相对比研究,从而判定软骨鱼群中至少存在一部分广盐性鲨类,两地具相近的软骨鱼群和塔里木盆地含有华南中古生代普遍存在的盔甲鱼类进一步表明华南板块与塔里木板块在中古生代应属于同一个古动物地理区。在综述所取得的成果的同时对今后的研究工作进行了展望。  相似文献

本文首次报道并描述了华南黄陵背斜西翼湖北宜昌兴山县乡儿湾剖面埃迪卡拉系陡山沱组二段中上部的燧石结核和条带中的疑源类微体化石,经系统鉴定共识别出8属8种,包括Appendisphaera grandis,Crassimembrana multitunica,Leiosphaeridia minutissima,Megasphaera inornata,Schizofusa zangwenlongii,Symphysosphaera basimembrana,Urasphaera nupta,Variomargosphaeridium gracile。该化石组合包含Liu Pengju and Moczyd?owska (2019)所建立的第二生物组合带(Tanarium tuberosum-Schizofusa zangwenlongii组合带)的特征分子Schizofusa zangwenlongii,因此,可尝试性地与第二生物组合带相对比,但未见黄陵背斜东南翼陡山沱组二段的常见属Tianzhushania,据此推测黄陵背斜两翼在古环境上可能有所差异。  相似文献

The age and composition of the 14 × 106 km2 of Antarctica's surface obscured by ice is unknown except for some dates on detrital minerals. In remedy, we bring together proxies of Antarctic bedrock in the form of (1) detrital zircons analysed for U–Pb age, TDMC, εHf, and rock type, including five new analyses of Neogene turbidites, (2) erratics that reflect age, composition, and metamorphism, and (3) recycled microfossils that reflect age, facies, and metamorphism. Each sample is located in its ice-drainage basin for backtracking to the potential provenance. Gaps in age between sample and upslope exposure are specifically attributable to the provenance. This work indicates that the central Antarctic provenance about a core of the Gamburtsev Subglacial Mountains (GSM) and Vostok Subglacial Highlands (VSH) contains a basement that includes igneous (mafic granitoids) and metamorphic rocks with peak U–Pb ages of 0.5–0.7, 0.9–1.3, 1.4–1.7, 1.9–2.1, 2.2–2.3, 2.6–2.8, and 3.15–3.35 Ga, TDMC 1.3–3.6 Ga, and εHf + 12 to − 40. Other modelled cratons with similar ages are set in a matrix of foldbelts of 0.5–0.7 Ga age. The basement in the core is surmounted by Permian red beds, at the periphery by Permian and Triassic sedimentary rocks unaffected by igneous heating or load metamorphism, and west of the Transantarctic Mountains (TAM) in the Wilkes Basin arguably by Late Cretaceous through Pliocene marine sediments. Erratics of undated red sandstone along the coast of Wilkes Land and George V Land indicate a red-bed provenance in the interior. The Prince Charles Mountains (PCM) provide an exposed example of a crust of Precambrian igneous and metamorphic rocks and Permian and Triassic sedimentary rocks.  相似文献

The determination of absolute abundances of diatoms in paleolimnological and paleoceanographic studies is now becoming a routine step in diatom paleoecological investigations. Several distinct methods have been described for establishing absolute diatom abundance. Each of these methods has its own strengths and weaknesses. The most common weakness in diatom preparation methods is the use of aliquot subsampling from an assumed well-mixed diatom suspension. Described here is a simple, efficient and inexpensive method that utilizes settling of diatoms through a 10 cm water column, which yields an effectively random distribution, and uses no aliquot subsampling. Only a few milligrams of sample are needed, permitting microstratigraphic analysis of, for example, individual varves. The method is shown to be both reproducible and accurate for sediments ranging in diatom concentration from less than 10 million to more than one billion diatoms per gram. Multiple slides or SEM stubs can be simultaneously prepared. The method works well for the analysis of most silt-sized microfossils or other sedimentary particles.  相似文献
