为建立一个简便、多功能的船体曲面修改和生成系统,提出一种船体线型曲面局部修改法,求解船体曲面修改问题。方法采用NURBS曲面技术,对曲面连接满足连续的充分条件推导,保证了局部曲面与外部曲面的光顺连接,控制顶点移动方程组的建立使得新曲面的表达简单直接,最后以某平台供应船船体曲面的修改为算例对方法进行验证,得到一个满足修改要求、光顺平滑的船体新曲面。该方法可应用于数字化造船和改进数学船型方法,也可推广应用于海洋平台等其他领域的曲面拟合、修改和生成。 相似文献

A new one-minute global seafloor topography model was derived from vertical gravity gradient anomalies (VGG), altimetric gravity anomalies, and ship soundings. Ship soundings are used to constrain seafloor topography at wavelengths longer than 200 km and to calibrate the topography to VGG (or gravity) ratios at short wavelengths area by area. VGG ratios are used to predict seafloor topography for wavelength bands of 100–200 km and to suppress the effect of crust isostasy. Gravity anomalies are used to recover seafloor topography at wavelengths shorter than 100 km. The data processing procedure is described in detail in this paper. The accuracy of the model is evaluated using ship soundings and existing models, including General Bathymetric Charts of the Oceans (GEBCO), DTU10, ETOPO1, and SIO V15.1. The results show that, in the discussed regions, the accuracy of the model is better than ETOPO1, GEBCO, and DTU10. Additionally, the model is comparable with V15.1, which is generally believed to have the highest accuracy. In the north-central Pacific Ocean, the accuracy of the model increased by approximately 29.5% compared with the V15.1 model. The article presents a practical approach to transform a wave energy spectrum from encounter domain to absolute domain. This problem has its specific relevance, when shipboard sea state estimation is conducted by the wave buoy analogy; notably for some particular implementation solving for the sea state directly in the encounter domain. In this context, the encounter domain is that observed from a ship when it advances in a seaway, whereas the absolute domain is that corresponding to making observations from a fixed point in the inertial frame. Spectrum transformation can be uniquely carried out if the ship sails “against” the waves (beam to head sea) but in following sea conditions there exists no unique solution to the problem. Instead, a reasonable approach valid for practical engineering must be applied, and the article outlines one viable solution that can be used to transform a wave spectrum from encounter to absolute domain. The ocean meridional overturning circulation (MOC) plays a central role for the climate in the Atlantic realm. Since scenarios
for future climate change indicate a significant reduction of the MOC under global warming, an assessment of variations and
trends of the real MOC is important. Using observations at ocean weather ship (OWS) stations and along oceanic sections, we
examine the hydrographic information that can be used to determine MOC trends via its signature in water mass properties obtained
from model simulations with the climate model ECHAM5/MPI-OM. We show that temperature trends at mid-latitudes provide useful
indirect measure of large-scale changes of deep circulation: A mid-depth warming is related to MOC weakening and a cooling
to MOC strengthening. Based on our model experiments, we argue that a continuation of measurements at key OWS sites may contribute
to a timely detection of a possible future MOC slowdown and to separate the signal from interannual-to-multidecadal MOC variability.
The simulations suggest that the subsurface hydrographic information related to MOC has a lower variability than the MOC trend
measured directly. Based on our model and the available long-term hydrographic data, we estimate non-significant MOC trends
for the last 80 years. For the twenty-first century, however, the model simulations predict a significant MOC decline and

The method of boundary integral equation developed by the authors was applied for computing inertial and damping characteristics of ship sections for the cases of multi-stepped and inclined bottoms. Comparative calculations for three typical ship hull sections were performed and analyzed. The frequency-dependent data computed for these ship sections can be used to assess the bottom geometry's influence onto the ship motions in waves by means of the strip theory. Limiting values of the same characteristics corresponding to the close-to-zero frequency can also be used for estimation of hydrodynamic forces in manoeuvring over shallow and confined waterways. 相似文献

In an attempt to contribute to efforts for a robust and effective numerical tool addressing ship motion in astern seas, this paper presents the development of a coupled non-linear 6-DOF model with frequency dependent coefficients, incorporating memory effects and random waves. A new axes system that allows straightforward combination between seakeeping and manoeuvring, whilst accounting for extreme motions, is proposed. Validation of the numerical model with the results of benchmark tests commissioned by ITTC's Specialist Group on Stability demonstrated qualitative, yet not fully satisfactory agreement between numerical and experimental results in line with other predictive tools. The numerical results indicate that the inclusion of frequency coefficients definitely affects the accuracy of the predictions. In order to enhance further the numerical model and obtain useful information on motion coupling, extensive captive and free running model tests were carried out. Good agreement with the experimental results was achieved. These studies provide convincing evidence of the capability of the developed numerical model to predict the dangerous conditions that a ship could encounter in extreme astern seas. As a result, it could offer new insights towards establishing relationships linking ship behaviour to design, environmental and operational parameters. 相似文献

由于前后桨的相互干扰,对转桨的推力和扭矩呈现非常明显的非定常特点。一些主要的设计参数,如前后桨叶数比、推力比以及桨盘面间距对对转桨的水动力性能皆有一定的影响。分别对它们进行系统的研究有助于减弱对转桨的不利干扰,最大程度地回收周向动能。本文采用CFD方法首先分析了叶数比的影响,推力和扭矩的预报结果与试验值吻合良好,结果显示,叶数比为4∶5的对转桨拥有较好的稳定性。另外,对转桨的效率比等效单桨高8.73%~10.2%左右。最后研究了前后桨不同间距和不同推力比的影响,结果显示,增加前后桨的间距可以有效减小前后桨的不利干扰,但是在一定间距内或者推力比在1附近,对转桨水动力均值变化影响不大。 相似文献
