Uncontrolled discharges of municipal sewage, agricultural wastes and industrial effluents in the past decades have upset the ecosystems, caused frequent occurrences of red tides, and resulted in a loss of inland and coastal amenity values of the land-locked embayment of Tolo Harbour and the related river systems. This paper provides a review of the established relevant legislations and sewage management facilities for environmental conservation, and the current status of water environment in the Tolo Harbour Water Control Zone. 相似文献

Hydrocarbon contamination of lakes and rivers from subsurface discharge of ground-water is a common environmental problem in many countries. This source of contamination, particularly dissolved phase hydrocarbons, can significantly reduce the quality of natural waters. Laboratory results show that the aqueous solubility of benzene can be predicted by Raoul''s Law for BTEX mixtures and for gas condensate. In contrast, the solubility of total xylenes was up to three times higher than the calculated results using Raoul''s Law. A comparison of these finding with the composition of BTEX in groundwater at a sour-gas plant, indicated that the mole fraction and groundwater flow velocity were two principle factors affecting the discharge concentration of benzene and xylenes to natural waters. 相似文献

Many estuaries contain sandy beaches that provide habitats and offer protective buffers for wetlands and infrastructure, alongside cultural and recreational resources. Research underpinning coastal management tends to focus on tide- and swell-dominated sandy beaches, but little attention is given to beaches in estuaries and bays (BEBs) that exist along a continuum of wind/swell wave, tide and riverine influence. BEBs are subject to less wave energy than open coast locations because of the generally narrow window of directions for which ocean waves can propagate through the entrance. However, when storm wave direction coincides with the orientation of the estuary or bay entrance, waves can penetrate several kilometres inside. Here we focus on eight BEBs in two major bays/estuaries in Sydney, Australia and present observations from before and after a major extratropical storm with waves from an atypical direction in June 2016. We quantify magnitudes of beach erosion and recovery rates for 3 years post-storm. We show that when high-energy storm waves penetrate bays and estuaries, BEBs can undergo up to 100% of subaerial beach erosion. Three years after the storm, only 5 of the 29 (17%) eroded subaerial beach profiles had recovered to their pre-storm volume. This is likely due to the lack of low-frequency, beach-building waves at BEBs under modal weather conditions in between storms, in contrast to open coast beaches. We also show that the recovery of BEBs may be limited by the absence of adjacent sediment reservoirs due to the dominance of tidal processes mid-channel. Our study highlights the unique behaviour of BEBs relative to beaches on the open coast, and that shifting wave direction needs to be considered in long-term beach resilience under climate change. © 2020 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

【目的】探讨东海沿海赤潮发生与环境因子的关系。【方法】对2003-2016年东海11个赤潮监控区的调查与监测数据进行统计分析,并采用Spearman秩相关系数法研究了赤潮与环境因子关联关系。【结果】东海近岸海域赤潮发生与水温、pH与溶解氧呈显著正相关关系,与活性磷酸盐、硝酸盐等无机营养盐呈显著负相关关系。【结论】赤潮发生时水温一般为25~33℃,pH为8~9,溶解氧5~10 mg/L,营养盐处于极低值水平。 相似文献

基于对2015—2016年长江口邻近海域现场调查数据的分析,探讨了其海水pH的季节变化和影响因素。结果表明:长江口邻近海域四季pH在7.76—8.32之间,其中夏季最高,秋季最低;夏季具有明显的分层现象,冬季水体pH垂直分布相对均一。长江冲淡水对长江口邻近海域水体pH的影响是局域性的。浮游植物光合作用是影响春、夏、秋季海水pH区域分布的重要过程。春、冬季节表层海水pH分布受海-气界面CO2交换的影响较大。温度、生物作用及长江冲淡水扩展是导致长江口邻近海域表层海水pH季节变化的主要因素。 相似文献

An extensive study collected in situ data along the Yellow Sea(YS) and East China Sea(ECS) to assess the radiometric properties and the concentration of the water constituents derived from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS). Thirteen high quality match-ups were obtained for evaluating the MODIS estimates of Rrs(λ), chlorophyll a(Chl a) and concentrations of suspended particulate sediment matter(SPM). For MODIS Rrs(λ), the mean absolute percentage difference(APD) was in the range of 20%–36%, and the highest uncertainty appeared at 412 nm, whereas the band ratio of Rrs(λ) at 488 nm compared with that at 547 nm was highly consistent, with an APD of 7%. A combination of near-infrared bands and shortwave infrared wavelengths atmosphere correction algorithm(NIR-SWIR algorithm) was applied to the MODIS data, and the estimation accuracy of Rrs were improved at most of the visible spectral bands except 645 nm, 667 nm and 678 nm. Two ocean-colour empirical algorithms for Chl a estimation were applied to the processed data, the results indicated that the accuracy of the derived Chl a values was obviously improved, the four-band algorithms outperformed the other algorithm for measured and simulated datasets, and the minimum APD was 35%. The SPM was also quantified. Two regional and two coastal SPM algorithms were modified according to the in situ data. By comparison, the modified Tassan model had a higher accuracy for the application along the YS and ECS with an APD of 21%. However, given the limited match-up dataset and the potential influence of the aerosol properties on atmosphere correction, further research is required to develop additional algorithms especially for the low Chl a coastal water. 相似文献

根据日照近海13个站位表层沉积物粒度和重金属含量测试结果,分析了研究区表层沉积物粒度和重金属含量分布特征,采用地累积指数法和潜在生态风险指数法评估了研究区重金属污染状况和潜在生态风险,探讨了重金属的来源和控制因素。结果表明,研究区表层沉积物可分为粉砂、粉砂质砂、砂质粉砂等3种类型,沉积物类型主要呈大致平行岸线的条带状分布,由岸向海依次为粉砂 砂质粉砂 粉砂质砂。研究区表层沉积物中Cr、Zn、Pb、As、Cu、Cd、Hg等重金属的平均含量由高到低依次为45.5、21.8、16.4、8.5、4.8、0.113、0.11 μg/g。从空间分布特征来看,Cr、Cu、Zn和Pb高值区主要出现在付疃河口近岸和研究区中西部海域,Cd和As高值区位于研究区中东部海域。污染状况评估显示,Cr、Cu、Zn、As未出现污染;Cd轻度污染,个别站位达到中度污染,Hg、Pb部分站位呈轻度污染。潜在生态风险等级依次为:Cd>Hg>Cu>As>Pb>Cr>Zn,其中Cd和Hg表现为中生态风险,个别站位Cd为高风险危害。表层沉积物中Cu、Cr、Zn、Hg和Pb元素主要来源于陆源细粒物质的输入,Cd和As元素可能来源于钢铁冶炼、煤炭燃烧、农药、化肥以及海水养殖等。研究区表层沉积物中重金属空间分布主要受物源控制。 相似文献

以北方典型河口湿地—黄河三角洲湿地为研究区,采用在特征选择和分类提取等方面具有明显优势的随机森林算法,对研究区内的湿地信息进行提取。首先基于多时相、光谱信息丰富的Sentinel-2数据生成4类不同的特征变量,包括光谱特征、植被指数和水体指数、红边指数、纹理特征;再根据以上特征构建6种不同的提取方案,对黄河三角洲湿地信息进行提取并验证不同方案的提取精度,旨在选择最佳方案改善湿地信息提取的效果。结果表明:(1)有效地使用多种特征变量是提高湿地信息提取的关键,就不同特征对湿地信息提取的贡献率而言,红边指数植被指数和水体指数光谱特征纹理特征;(2)基于随机森林算法优选的特征变量提取效果最佳,总体精度高达90.93%,Kappa系数为0.90,表明随机森林算法可以有效地进行特征选择,在特征变量数据挖掘的同时,仍能保证湿地信息提取的精度,提高运行效率。本研究为湿地信息提取在数据源选择、特征选择和方法选择方面提供了一种新思路、方法和技术手段。 相似文献

中国近海鲐鱼资源时空分布与海洋净初级生产力的关系研究 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
海洋净初级生产力影响了浮游动植物的空间分布和丰度,因此决定了海洋渔业的潜在产量。本文根据2006-2015年7-9月中国远洋渔业数据中心提供的中国近海鲐鱼捕捞数据和海洋净初级生产力遥感数据,以单位捕捞努力量渔获量(CPUE)表征资源丰度,以经度和纬度重心表征空间分布,分析研究了鲐鱼资源丰度和空间分布与海洋净初级生产力的关系。研究结果表明,2006-2015年鲐鱼产量、CPUE、经度和纬度重心呈现明显的月份和年际变化,7-9月渔场内净初级生产力空间分布模式不同。频率分布结果表明7-9月鲐鱼对应的适宜净初级生产力浓度范围分别为300~500 mg/(m2·d)(以碳计,下同),300~400 mg/(m2·d),300~400 mg/(m2·d)。相关分析结果表明,鲐鱼资源丰度与适宜净初级生产力海域范围比例呈显著正相关,且鲐鱼纬度重心与适宜净初级生产力海域平均纬度呈显著正相关关系,这表明渔场内的净初级生产力大小和分布模式显著影响鲐鱼的资源丰度和渔场重心位置。在鲐鱼主要分布海域25°~30°N,120°~130°E范围内,鲐鱼资源丰度与净初级生产力大小呈显著负相关关系。此外,不同气候条件下鲐鱼渔场净初级生产力大小变化不同,2007年和2010年强拉尼娜年份以及2009年中强厄尔尼诺年份鲐鱼渔场范围海洋净初级生产力降低,但适宜的海洋净初级生产力范围增大,导致鲐鱼资源丰度上升;而2015年超强厄尔尼诺年份鲐鱼渔场范围内海洋净初级生产力上升,但适宜的海洋净初级生产力范围显著减小,因此鲐鱼资源丰度相对降低。研究表明,中国近海鲐鱼资源时空分布与海洋净初级生产力具有显著关联。 相似文献
