根据1987年2月至1988年2月的周年凋查资料,对珠江口水体中的溶解氧与营养盐的关系进行统计分析。结果表明:PO4-P与AOU(表观耗氧量),NO3-N与AOU,AOP(表观产氧量)与Chl.a之间显著或高度显著相关。进而估算了PO4-P和NO3-N的氧化部分,丰水期各占测定值的63.7%和53.7%;枯水期各占31.3%和69.6%。  相似文献

应用实验室培养法测定了溶解无机氮(DIN)在胶州湾16个站位沉积物-海水界面上的交换速率。结果表明, NH4 -N,NO2 -N和NO3 -N的交换速率一般分别在-0.5~1.6,0.005~0.67, + - --2.0~2.8 mmol/(m2·d)范围内。由于间隙水中DIN主要以NH4 -N形态存在,DIN在胶州湾沉 +积物-海水界面上的交换以NH4 -N的扩散为主,在大部分站位表现为由沉积物向水体的释放, +NO3 -N主要来自NH4 -N的硝化反应,而NO2 -N是NH4 -N和NO3 -N之间化学转化过程的中 - + - + -间产物。考虑胶州湾沉积物类型, 在胶州湾沉积物-海水界面上的交换通量为9.68×108 DINmmol/d,是河流输入DIN的50%左右,可提供维持胶州湾初级生产力所需DIN的52%。  相似文献

The concentrations and distributions of four species of inorganic nutrient salts in surface sea water of Chinese Great Wall Bay and its adjacent sea area, Antarctica were surveyed during austral summers of 1993~1994.The results obtained are as follows:The general concentrations of NH4-N, NO3-N, NO2-N and PO4-P are 2. 13, 7. 07, 0. 74 and 1. 12 μg. din-3, respectively. Generally speaking, the concentrations are higher inside the Bay than those  outside and the higher values of those inorganic salts often appear in December. The time for the station where their higher and lower concentrations appear are not completely the same. The descending order of the magnitudes of ΣN/P value according to the arrangement monthly is: Dec. Feb. Jan.. The  variations of water temperature are mostly consist with the concentrations of NH4-N, PO4-P and ΣN/P, but not often with NO2-N. The low concentrations of nutrient salts as shown in some stations may be related with absorption by phytoplankton, perhaps including autotrophic bacteria.The results suggest that the area surveyed has a typical characteristic of an inner shallow water bay, sub-Antarctica. The nutrients needed for phytoplankton are sufficient, and the Bay surveyed is still in a normal condition.  相似文献

Precipitation chemistry in southwestern British Columbia has been examined to determine if the shutdown of the ASARCO smelter in Tacoma, Washington in March of 1985 had a significant effect.The smelter emitted about 300 tonnes/day of sulphur dioxide and about one tonne/day of arsenic. The smelter had a supplementary control system (SCS) which was implemented during adverse meteorological conditions to meet ambient air standards. The SCS was in operation in October 1984.Five storms from October 1984, before the shutdown, that produced precipitation over the eight-station network in southwestern British Columbia, were considered. The 850 mb back trajectories and ionic loadings in the collected precipitation samples were compared. A similar comparison was made for three storms in October 1985, after the shutdown of the smelter. An examination of cases whose trajectories passed over the smelter before and after the shutdown indicated an over 50% decrease in volume weighted average sulphate concentration in precipitation over the Gulf Islands (islands in the southern Strait of Georgia). However, when the trajectory from the northwest passes over British Columbia coastal sources, higher excess SO4 concentrations were observed in the precipitation over the Gulf Islands, indicating a linkage between these concentrations and the British Columbia coastal sources. There was no apparent change in values at stations farthest from the Strait of Georgia with one exception. It was also noted that there was reduction in arsenic in precipitation, which could be considered as a tracer, after the shutdown of the ASARCO smelter. This paper enlarges on the above observation with comparisons of the major meteorological and chemical characteristics related to eight storms.  相似文献

A systematic study of the major ion chemistry of the Ganga source waters—the Bhagirathi, Alaknanda and their tributaries—has been carried out to assess the chemical weathering processes in the high altitude Himalaya. Among major ions, Ca, Mg, HCO3 and SO4 are the most abundant in these river waters. These results suggest that weathering of carbonate rocks by carbonic and sulphuric acids dominates in these drainage basins. On an average, silicate weathering can contribute up to ∼ 30% of the total cations. The concentration of total dissolved salts in the Bhagirathi and the Alaknanda is 104 and 115mg/l, respectively. The chemical denudation rate in the drainage basins of the Bhagirathi and the Alaknanda is, respectively, 110 and 137 tons/km2/yr, significantly higher than that derived for the entire Ganga basin, indicating intense chemical erosion of the Himalaya.  相似文献

Detrended canonical coreespondence analysis (DCCA) was used to examine the relationships between diatom species distributions and environmental variables from 62 drainage lakes in the Adirondack region, New York (USA). The contribution of lakewater pH, Alm (monomeric Al), NH4, maximum depth, Mg, and DOC (dissolved organic carbon) were statistically significant in explaining the patterns of variation in the diatom species composition. Twenty-three and sixteen diatom taxa were identified as potential indicator species for pH and Alm, respectively (i.e. a taxon with a strong statistical relationship to the environmental variable of interest, a well defined optimum, and a narrow tolerance to the variable of interest). Using weighted-averaging regression and calibration, predictive models were developed to infer lakewater pH (r 2=0.91), Alm (r 2=0.83), DOC (dissolved organic carbon) (r 2=0.64), and ANC (acid neutralizing capacity; r 2=0.90). These variables are of key importance in understanding watershed acidification processes. These predictive models have been used in the PIRLA-II (Paleoecological Investigation of Recent Lake Acidification-II) project to answer policy-related questions concerning acidification, recovery, and fisheries loss.  相似文献
