Impacts of Coastal SST Variability on the East Asian Summer Monsoon

The impacts of the seasonal and interannual SST variability in the East Asia coastal regions （EACRSST） on the East Asian summer monsoon （EASM） have been examined using a regional climate model （PδRCM9） in this paper. The simulation results show that the correlation between the EACRSST and the EASM is strengthened after the mid-1970s and also the variability of the EACRSST forcing becomes much more important to the EASM interannual variability after the mid-1970s. The impacts of the EACRSST on the summer precipitation over each sub-region in the EASM region become weak gradually from south to north, and the temporal evolution features of the summer precipitation differences over North and Northeast China agree well with those of the index of EASM （IEASM） differences.
The mechanism analyses show that different EACRSST forcings result in the differences of sensible and latent heat flux exchanges at the air-sea interface, which alter the heating rate of the atmosphere. The heating rate differences induce low level air temperature differences over East Asia, resulting in the differences of the land-sea thermal contrast （LSTC） which lead to 850 hPa geopotential height changes. When the 850 hPa geopotential height increases over the East Asian continent and decreases over the coast of East China and the adjacent oceans during the weakening period of weakens consequently. On the contrary, the EASM enhances during the strengthening period of the LSTC.     

四川省康定县三碉金矿床岩矿石化学成分特征及构造环境

康定县境内的三碉金矿床是大渡河金矿成矿集中区内的典型矿床。本文基于野外实地调查取样、实验室分析测试工作,通过对岩矿石地球化学特征及构造环境进行研究,结果表明:1)从无矿石英→含矿石英,SiO_2、Al_2O_3、CaO等含量均有所减少,TiO_2、MnO、K_2O、Na_2O等变化范围不大,Fe_2O_3和FeO等则有明显的增高。2)斜长角闪岩的原岩为基性火山岩,δEu主要表现为正异常特征;黑云母花岗岩具有中钾钙碱性特征,形成于造山晚期,δEu表现为明显的负异常特征。即三碉金矿的形成过程中,硅铝质矿物在减少,载金金属矿物在增多;含矿流体混染和交代长英质岩浆减弱抵消负铕异常导致斜长角闪岩δEu值逐渐过渡为正异常;黑云母花岗岩δEu为负异常,是早期斜长石的晶出带走Eu作用的结果。3)矿区断裂与矿床的形成密切相关,为成矿流体的上升运移提供了有利的通道,并提供含矿石英脉的沉聚空间。     

Preliminary study on pisionids (Annelida: Polychaeta Pisionidae) from Hainan Island coastal waters, South China Sea

Of the four species ofPisione Grube (1856) collected from the coastal waters of Hainan Island, the South China Sea, and described in this paper,Pisione hainanensis n. sp. is new to science;Pisione oerstedii Grube, 1857;Pisione complexa Alikunhi, 1947, and Pisione levisetosa Zhao, Westheide & Wu, 1991 are reported for the first time from this area. 中国西部道路交通开发的地质环境及可行性认识

宏观上论述了我国西部道路交通开发中地质环境基本特点、主要工程地质问题及工程可行性,并着重指出,地形复杂、地壳强活动、滑坡泥石流、冻土和风沙等灾害构成了交通开发中施工、养护的突出问题,部分干旱区水源匮乏矛盾尤为突出,但工程地质环境仍具可选择的条件。

ABSTRACT. An attempt is made to give a 10,000-year perspective on the relations of history, culture, and the nonhuman world called nature. A Holocene narrative of processes separates human societies and their cultures: things that individuate and pull apart to the point of fragmentation versus those that are binding. These tendencies toward convergence may coalesce, as with the natural sciences or global electronic technology. Equally, they may involve centrifugal processes, as in the creative arts or in forms of representation accessible only to certain groups or cultures. The environment resonates in a series of segmented channels, considerably complicated by a binary Western culture, often with 1 as acceptable and o as the Other. Is a purposeful path laid down by someone else and followed to its predetermined end in Utopia, or do we cherish something more open and contingent?

塔克拉玛干沙漠石油公路沿线风沙活动是由塔木盆地内热能释放与冷空气入侵相互作用的结果。冷期,盆地内冷高压逆温作用较强,地面热能不足,使得风力和风沙活动强度弱;暖期,盆地内热源剧增,每当热能源饱和遇到冷空气入侵诱导,导致了强风及强风沙活动天气。可见,区内风沙活动及风成景观的塑造过程,主要是在暖干期进行的。
