本文利用“5.21”福建闽北特大暴雨过程中获得大量加密资料,较深入地分析了暴雨过程中、小尺度特征.给出不同尺度、不同物理特性的中小尺度系统(云团)相互作用,生消、发展、组合过程,以及武夷山脉的复杂地形在该过程中所起的重要作用.显示出在一定环境流场下,由中小尺度天气系统活动导致出现的天气变化密集的低纬山区形成持续性特大暴雨的重要特色.  相似文献

Although the potential contact force proposed by Munjiza overcomes the difficulties inherent in the traditional discrete element methods, the physical meaning of the potential is not clear and the contact force derived from the original potential function is strongly dependent on the mesh configuration. In this study, we redefine a potential function and propose a new contact force calculation method based on a unified standard. Dealing with freely-floating bodies in the framework of non-linear potential flow theory may require solving Laplace's equation for the time derivative of the velocity potential. At present, there are two competing formulations for the body boundary condition. The first one was derived by Cointe [1] in 2D. It was later extended to 3D by van Daalen [2]. The second formulation was derived by Tanizawa [3] in 2D. It was extended to 3D by Berkvens [4]. In this paper, a proof is given that the Cointe–van Daalen's and the Tanizawa–Berkvens’ formulations are equivalent. It leads to a simplified version of Cointe–van Daalen's formulation. The formulation is validated against the analytical solution for a moving sphere in an unbounded water domain.  相似文献

Water repellency is a widespread property of Pinus pinaster and Eucalyptus globulus forest soils in NW Spain and is particularly severe during the summer dry conditions. The aim of this work was to compare actual water repellency at field‐moist samples with potential water repellency after drying at 25 and 105 °C in samples collected at different times of year under four forest soils. Also, we investigated whether drying at 25 or 105 °C led to repellency values comparable to the highest levels reached under field conditions in the summer with a view to developing an appropriate sampling protocol towards estimating the maximum possible water repellency of a given soil as a key to establishing its environmental effects. The actual and potential water repellency was determined by using the water drop penetration time (WDPT) and molarity of an ethanol drop (MED) tests. Clear seasonal patterns of water repellency were observed from the results for the four forest soils, peaking in the dry period and disappearing after prolonged wet periods. Water repellency lasts longer in sandy loam soils than in more finely textured soils, and also under eucalyptus than under pine forests. Drying soil samples at 25 or 105 °C increased water repellency, as measured with the WDPT method, in the four soils, but especially in the non‐repellent samples collected during the wet period. The increase was more marked in the sandy loam soils than in the more finely textured soils, and also after drying at 105 °C than at 25 °C. MED measurements exposed a common trait in the four soils; thus, the water repellency values obtained under field conditions in summer invariably exceeded those obtained after drying at 25 or 105 °C. In addition, the repellency values for dried samples collected in the wet period were never comparable to the maximum levels observed under field conditions in the summer. Rainfall replenishes surface and subsurface water but is partially intercepted by a canopy. However, it is challenging to quantify the rainfall passing through the canopy (i.e. throughfall). This study derives simple‐to‐use empirical equations relating throughfall to canopy and rainfall characteristics. Monthly throughfall is calculated by applying a mass balance model on weather data from Singapore; Vancouver, Canada; and Stanford, USA. Regression analysis is then performed on the calculated throughfall with three dependent variables (i.e. maximum canopy storage, average rainfall depth and time interval between two consecutive rainfall in a month) to derive the empirical equations. One local equation is derived for each location using data from that particular location, and one global equation is derived using data from all three locations. The equations are further verified with calculated monthly throughfall from other weather data and actual throughfall field measurements, giving an accuracy of about 80–90%. The global equation is relatively less accurate but is applicable worldwide. Overall, this study provides a global equation through which one can quickly estimate throughfall with only information on the three variables. 潜在自行车出行是指可能会使用自行车作为交通工具的出行,评估潜在自行车出行需求能够帮助指导城市自行车资源配置方案的优化。大规模手机位置数据蕴含丰富的人群移动信息,而且具有大样本、低成本的特点,能够用于评估城市潜在自行车出行需求。本文结合自行车出行的时间和距离特征,提出一种基于大规模手机位置数据的潜在自行车出行需求评估方法。该方法以单次出行为分析单元,从手机用户的轨迹中提取出具有短距离出行特征和公共交通接驳出行特征的移动轨迹段,并根据该移动轨迹段评估潜在自行车出行需求。基于该方法,利用上海市大规模手机位置数据评估上海市潜在自行车出行需求并分析其时空分布特征,发现在空间上,潜在自行车短距离出行需求主要分布在城市中心和郊区的商业中心,而公共交通接驳的自行车需求主要分布在郊区。在时间上,上午,自行车出行需求从非中心城区向中心城区聚拢;晚上,上海市自行车出行骑车与停车需求从中心城区向非中心城区扩散。  相似文献

Samples of high‐pressure felsic granulites from the Bohemian Massif (Variscan belt of Central Europe) characterized by a peak metamorphic (high‐pressure) mineral assemblage of garnet kyanite plagioclase K‐feldspar quartz ± biotite show well‐developed plagioclase reaction rims around kyanite grains in two microstructural settings. In one setting, kyanite is randomly distributed in the polyphase matrix, whereas in the other setting, it is enclosed within large perthitic K‐feldspar. Kyanite is regarded as a relict of the high‐pressure metamorphic assemblage that became metastable during transition to a low‐pressure overprint. Plagioclase rims from both microstructural settings show continuous outwards decrease of the anorthite content from An32–25 at the contact with kyanite to An20–19 at the contact with the matrix or to the perthitic K‐feldspar respectively. Based on mass balance considerations, it is shown that in some cases, a small amount of kyanite was consumed in the rim‐forming reaction to provide the Al2O3 component for the growth of plagioclase, whereas in other cases no Al2O3 from kyanite was necessary. In a majority of examples, the necessary Al2O3 was supplied with CaO and Na2O from the surrounding matrix material. For kyanite in perthite, a thermodynamic analysis reveals that the kyanite became metastable at the interface with the host perthite at the peak metamorphic pressure, and therefore the plagioclase rim started to grow at ~ 18 kbar. In contrast, kyanite in the polyphase matrix remained stable down to pressures of ~ 16 kbar, and the plagioclase rim only started to grow at a later stage during the decompression. Plagioclase rims around kyanite inclusions within large perthite have a radial thickness of up to 50 μm. In contrast, the radial thickness of plagioclase rims around kyanite in the polycrystalline matrix is significantly larger, up to 200 μm. Another peculiarity is that the plagioclase rims around kyanite in the matrix are polycrystalline, whereas the plagioclase rims around kyanite inclusions in perthitic hosts are single crystals with the same crystallographic orientation as the host perthite. The difference in rim thickness for the two microstructural settings is ascribed to the differences in the efficiency of chemical mass transfer next to the reaction site. The comparatively large thickness of the plagioclase rims grown around kyanite in the matrix is probably due to efficient material transport along the grain and phase boundaries in the matrix. In contrast, chemical mass transfer was comparatively slow in the large perthitic K‐feldspar grains.  相似文献

Hedgerow is one of the most important rural landscapes in the world, especially in Europe. Knowledge about the hydrological role of hedgerows is useful in many fields of study, such as hydrological modelling and rural landscape management. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of a hedgerow on rainfall distribution, soil-water potential gradient, lateral water transfer and water balance. A hillslope with a hedgerow perpendicular to the slope was monitored. To evaluate hedgerow rainfall interception, rainfall was measured (hourly, daily, and by rainfall event) both next to and up to 16 m upslope and 12 m downslope perpendicularly away from the hedgerow. The strongest correlation between rainfall next to the hedgerow and rainfall at more distant points was obtained using data measured per rainfall event. The average percentage of rainfall intercepted equalled 28% for the leafed period and 12% for the leafless period. The impact of the hedgerow on spatial rainfall distribution was related to distance from the hedgerow and rainfall amount. Annual distribution of soil-water potential showed that the hedgerow influenced it up to 9 m upslope and 6 m downslope, the area in which most of the hedgerow's roots were observed. The soil was driest at the end of summer, which delayed soil rewetting during autumn in areas surrounding the hedgerow. Annual groundwater dynamics exhibited three distinct periods due to temporal rainfall distribution and, especially at the end of summer, root-water uptake. In addition, the total potential gradient showed that unsaturated flow was directed towards the hedgerow in summer and autumn. These results indicate that at the local scale hedgerows influences (1) spatial rainfall distribution, (2) soil rewetting, and (3) groundwater recharge, often at distances well beyond the hedgerow's drip line. Consequently, the processes involved in soil-water dynamics around hedgerows should be integrated into relevant hydrological models, especially for catchments with a dense hedgerow network. Three kinds of tundra plant samples including Dicranum angnstum(a type of boreal bryophyte) , PuccineUia phryganodes (a type of fringy p/ant),Salix polaris (a type of vascular plant) and surface soil were samples in 200 at Ny-Alesund of the Arctic.The levels of eight heavy metal elements (Hg, Pb, Cd, Cu, Zn, Ni, Fe and Mn) and three metal-like dements (As, Se, Sr) in the plant and soil samples of the areas within previous coal mining activities are significantly higher than those of other areas.The relative accumulation of these elements in these tundra plant samples is consistent with the one in the soft samples, especially in the areas affected by previous coal-mining activities.Thus, the pollution is apparently from local coal mining activity.Dicranum angustum has the highest concentrations among those elements, and it can be a good bio-indicator for heavy metal pollution in Ny(A)lesund.Though Ny(A)lesund is less polluted by heavy metal than nearby Northern European human living areas, but much more than the tundras of the Alaska, Greenland and the Antarctic.  相似文献

The onset and advance of southwest monsoon are accompanied by the appearance of the offshore trough along the southwest coast of India. This offshore trough escorts a deluge of rainfall to the southwest coast, and sometimes rainfall band moves eastward further into south India. These broad observations were noticed during the summer monsoon of June 2017. Meteorological agencies and media had reported a huge amount of rainfall over the southwest coast of India during the month. But, in the far interior of south India, rainfall was less. Due to the less rainfall, water resources depleted, which affected local farmers and common man of south India. The confused views of the common man on southwest coast rainfall could be due to lack of understanding related to various factors affecting rainfall over the same region. This article is an endeavor to address the preliminary understanding of the southwest coast rainfall during June 2017, with more stress on offshore troughs. The study begins with area-averaged rainfall statistics over south, southwest, and southeast India by employing satellite and rain gauge merged rainfall datasets. Area averaged analysis revealed offshore trough contributed 80 % of rainfall over the South West India, 68 % over South East India, contributing to an overall 75 % over south India in 2017. To identify offshore trough position and strength in the reanalysis and model simulations, a new method called VSV (Vertical Shear of Vorticity) method was introduced. The computed offshore troughs were categorized into Active, Normal, and Feeble based on the strength of meridional gradient of mean sea level pressure and 850 hPa horizontal winds. The contribution due to each category of the offshore trough over different sub-regions was investigated to find out the effect of the offshore trough to total rainfall. Dynamic and thermodynamic features of these categories of the offshore trough were investigated by using proxies like equivalent potential temperature and moisture flux convergence. We found that during active offshore trough an eastward propagation of rain bands persists, which was explained by using moisture flux convergence and equivalent potential temperature at different levels of the atmosphere.  相似文献
