Landslides of the flow type involving granular geo-materials frequently result in casualties and damage to property because of the long travel distance and the high velocities that these may attain. This was true for the events that took place in Campania Region (Southern Italy) in May 1998, involving pyroclastic soils originating from explosive activities of the Somma-Vesuvius volcano. Although these phenomena have frequently affected various areas of the Campania region over the last few centuries, there were no useful geological and geotechnical references available in the aftermath of the May 1998 events. For this reason Salerno University, which was involved in the scientific management of the emergency, addressed the issue of acquiring data on the geological, geomorphological and hydrogeological features of the slopes where the landslides had taken place. The information acquired made it possible to set up a slope evolution model that is able to interpret, from a geological point of view, past and more recent landslides that had occurred in the same area. As preliminary geotechnical analyses had already validated the above model, more detailed investigations were performed both on the pore pressure regimen of the covers still in place as well as on the physical and mechanical properties of pyroclastic soils, in saturated and unsaturated conditions. The present paper begins by discussing the data acquired during the .rst phase of the studies and then goes on to illustrate the laboratory results so far obtained with the aid of approximate procedures. Fourier Transform infrared (FTIR) absorption spectra of hydroxylwere measured on olivine phenocrysts from hydrous basaltic meltsthat originated in island-arc tectonic settings. The basalticmelts encompass a wide range of silica activities from orthopyroxene-saturatedhypersthene-normative to nepheline-normative compositions. Theintensities and wavenumber placement of hydroxyl absorptionbands correlate with the degree of silica saturation of theparent melt from which the olivine crystallized. Olivines fromsilica-undersaturated nepheline-normative melts absorb IR radiationin the wavenumber range 34303590 cm1 (Group 1).In contrast, olivines from orthopyroxene-saturated boniniticmelts exhibit hydroxyl absorption bands in the wavenumber range32853380 cm1 (Group 2). Olivines crystallizedat intermediate silica activities exhibit a combination of thetwo groups of hydroxyl IR bands, where the proportion of Group2 bands increases with increasing silica saturation of the parentmelt. The positions of hydroxyl absorption peaks observed herefor natural samples are consistent with previous measurementson experimentally annealed olivines. Thus protonation experimentscan be employed to make spectroscopically dry olivine structuresvisible by IR, yielding information on the silica saturationof the parental magmas. Hydroxyl concentrations in the studiedolivines were estimated to be 12 ppm, corresponding toan olivinemelt partition coefficient of (1·0 ±0·3) x 104. 本文根据影响岩溶水位的因素,利用改进的BP神经网络建立一个能够反映济南市泉域岩溶地下水动态变化的随机模型,并进行检验,与运用多元回归模型预测的结果相比较,结果表明:BP神经网络模型进行岩溶地下水动态变化预测是可行的,该模型具有较强的学习、容错和联想功能,对岩溶地下水动态变化的预测精度大大的提高。最后在模拟的基础上,又对泉水喷涌的宏观趋势作了进一步的预测和分析。 相似文献

罗151块火成岩油藏是近年在济阳坳陷发现的中型油藏,油藏埋深3150m;在研究罗151井区火成岩成因、侵入期次、岩相学及储层非均质性的基础上,建立了火成岩储层概念模型,划分出角岩微孔隙型油藏及辉绿岩溶蚀孔隙-裂缝型油藏两个类型,纵向上分为4个带,平面上分为3个区;预测了火成岩储层发育的有利部位;部署了合理的开发井网,钻探后,完钻新井14口,平均单井日产油27t,取得了显著效果;火成岩油藏初期产能高,产量递减快,弹性产率低,依靠天然能量开采,最终采收率只有14.1%,可以进行注水开发,注水效果较好。 相似文献

To investigate the influence of diagenetic water media on the hydrogen isotopes of individual sedimentary aromatic compounds, a series of hydrous pyrolyses were conducted on herbaceous peat. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in hydrous pyrolysed samples and their hydrogen isotopic composition characteristics were studied. The aqueous medium demonstrated a significant influence on the hydrogen isotopic composition of the individual PAHs generated during pyrolysis. The results showed that the PAHs formed after pyrolysis in the presence of a saltwater medium with high δD value from a salt lake had a heavy hydrogen isotopic composition. The PAHs formed after pyrolysis in the presence of a fresh water medium with low δD value from a swamp had a light hydrogen isotopic composition. The difference in the average PAH δD value between the two hydrous experiments varied from –174‰ to –109‰, suggesting that the hydrogen isotopic composition of individual sedimentary PAHs can reflect the source of the diagenetic water medium. In addition, a comparative study found that the hydrogen isotopes of PAHs were superior to those of n-alkanes in the same sample for diagenetic water indications. The results indicated that the exchange of water-derived inorganic hydrogen and organic hydrogen was more intensive in freshwater experiments than in saltwater experiments. With an increase in the simulation temperature, the average δD value of PAHs generated in the hydrous simulation experiments showed an increasing trend, reflecting that the δD value of sedimentary PAHs formed with the participation of diagenetic water media was still closely related to the thermal maturity of organic matter. 由于顶管工程在经济方面的优势以及控制周围环境水平的提升,而得到广泛应用,但目前顶管扰动特性方面的研究多数限于中小顶管,未考虑超大直径顶管的特殊性。对上海世博电力电缆隧道顶管施工进行了现场监测,并主要分析了水-土压力变化曲线,测试结果反映了超大直径顶管顶进5阶段的扰动特性。工程经验表明,超大直径长距离顶进成功的主要作用因素有3个:泥浆套作用、开挖面控制和姿态动态调整。最后对泥浆套在顶管中的形成过程以及扰动作用机制进行了研究,泥浆套在注入、泥膜形成以及整体发挥作用的过程中具备填充、支承、隔阻、润滑等作用。 相似文献
