In this paper our previously developed advanced system identification technique [1] has been applied to extract the frequency dependent roll damping from a series of model tests run in irregular (random) waves. It is shown that this methodology accurately models the roll damping which can then be used to produce accurate predictions of the ships roll motion. These roll motion predictions are not only more accurate than the potential flow predictions but more accurate than potential flow models corrected using either empirical prediction methods [2] and even those corrected using roll damping obtained from free decay sallying experiments. This methodology has the potential to significantly improve roll motion prediction during full scale at sea trails of vessels in order to dramatically improve safety of critical operations such as helicopter landing or ship to ship cargo transfer. 相似文献

土壤盐渍化是新疆最常见的土地退化过程,已经严重威胁到了当地的农业生产、生态稳定和经济发展。通过对渭库绿洲土壤含盐量和土壤热红外光谱分析,探讨了土壤含盐量与热红外发射率之间的定量关系。结果表明:(1)盐渍化土壤的发射率随着含盐量的变化而发生变化,当土壤盐分增加时,发射率也随之增大。(2)土壤含盐量与热红外发射率光谱数据相关性在8.5~9.5 μm波段范围内表现尤为显著,相关系数超过0.8,最高为0.90,对应波段范围9.259~9.271 μm。(3)运用回归模型一阶导数变换形式下建模效果和预测精度都是最优的,R2达到了0.899,RMSE最小为1.734。热红外光谱技术可以反演土壤含盐量,为利用热红外遥感识别土壤盐分信息提供技术支撑。 相似文献

Effect of depth of soil stratum on estimated inelastic displacement of three typical structures, viz. a four storey building, a continuous bridge, and a tower, is studied and adequacy of the site amplification models of the current design codes and available empirical relationships is examined. The structures are assumed to be located on well-defined sites with varying bedrock depths, and effect of depth on elastic response spectrum, site amplification factor, displacement modification factor and inelastic displacement is studied, numerically, for two values of PGA. It is observed that soil depth has a significant effect on elastic as well as inelastic response of the structures; however, the effect of soil amplification on inelastic response is not as pronounced as in case of elastic response. Therefore, use of empirical site amplification models based on elastic response may be too conservative, for estimating inelastic response. 相似文献

利用266条强震记录,在研究绝对输入能量谱和相对输入能量谱衰减规律的基础上,对由衰减关系所确立的两种输入能量谱进行对比分析,讨论了延性系数对这两种输入能量谱的影响. 研究发现,在弹性情况下,两种输入能量谱在周期0.5~1.0 s范围内相差不大; 在非弹性情况下 两种输入能量谱在周期0.5 s处相差不大. 周期较小时,绝对输入能量谱要大于相对输入能量谱;周期较大时,绝对输入能量谱小于相对输入能量谱. 延性系数对这两种输入能量谱影响均比较大, 对绝对输入能量谱而言,周期小于0.3 s时,随着延性系数的增大, 能量谱升高;周期大于0.3 s时,随着延性系数的增大能量谱降低. 不同延性系数的绝对输入能量谱在分界点0.3 s左右相等. 相对输入能量谱受延性系数影响与绝对输入能量谱相似, 但分界点在0.5 s左右. 与绝对输入能量谱相比, 相对输入能量谱在短周期段受延性系数的影响较大, 特别是当场地较软时更为明显. 相似文献

This paper studies the dynamic responses of SDOF system under pulse-dominant excitations. The purpose of the study is to prepare for scrutiny of some near-field pulse-dominant ground motions and their potential to cause structural damage. Extending the single pulse dynamics, we consider the effect of pulse sequences. This kind of excitation was particularly obvious in some of previous earthquakes such as Northridge (1994) and Chi-Chi (1995). Based on the duration,peak and rise and decay era of the main pulse as well as its relationship with the predecessor and successor pulses, we propose a classification for the pulse sequences. Consequent studies have been carried out for acceleration, velocity and displacement response spectra of the main pulse with either a predecessor or a successor pulse. The analysis also includes general response behaviors in different fundamental period segments and special aspects of response at certain points (e.g., the corresponding peak points). 相似文献

An in vivo fluorescence discrimination technique for phytoplankton population was developed by using Wavelet packet transform, cluster analysis and non-negative least squares. The technique was used to analyze water samples from different sea regions. For simulative mixtures, when dominant species account for 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% at the division level, the correct discrimination ratios (CDRs) are 83.0%, 99.1%, 99.7% and 99.9% with the relative contents of 58.5%, 68.4%, 77.7% and 86.3%, respectively; when the algae dominance are 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100% at the genus level, the CDRs are 86.1%, 94.9%, 95.2%, 96.8% and 96.7%, respectively. For laboratory mixtures, the CDRs are 88.1% and 78.4% at the division and genus level, respectively. For field samples, the CDRs were 91.7% and 80% at the division and genus level, respectively (mesocosm experiments), and the CDRs were 100% and 66.7% at the division and genus level, respectively (Jiaozhou Bay). The fluorometric technique was used to estimate the phytoplankton community composition and relative abundance of different classes for the April 2010 cruise in the Yellow Sea with the results agreeing with those in published papers by other authors. 相似文献

提出活体海洋浮游植物三维荧光光谱逐层分类法,将浮游植物区分为不同的"光谱类别"。选取中国近海常见的26种分属于甲藻、硅藻、黄藻、金藻、隐藻、绿藻、蓝藻的浮游植物,在室温20℃和3个光照条件下培养,在第3,6,9,12,15天测其三维荧光光谱。采用主成份分析结合非负最小二乘回归法(NNLSR),以浮游植物叶绿素a的发射峰680nm所对应的激发光谱作为第一特征谱以区分门类,以EX730谱作为硅藻的逐层分类的第二特征谱,SY350谱作为甲藻的第二特征谱,将实验所用9种硅藻和8种甲藻各划分为3个光谱类别;分析405个浮游植物混合物,门类识别正确率大于94%,光谱类别的识别正确率为75%,该方法可用于海洋浮游植物种群结构变化的快速宏观监测。 相似文献
