海洋浮游生态系统中小型浮游动物的生态功能   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
小型浮游动物在海洋生态系统中的作用,主要指有多少能量通过小型浮游动物传递到桡足类,从而比较沿"浮游植物→中型浮游动物"和"浮游植物+细菌→小型浮游动物→中型浮游动物"两条食物链到达中型浮游动物的能流大小.为达到这个目的,需要研究各个能流路径的传递效率,即能量在各个营养级(初级生产--小型浮游动物,细菌生产--小型浮游动物,小型浮游动物的生长率,小型浮游动物--中型浮游动物)的传递效率.综述了国内外对上述营养级传递效率的研究现状,以期为我国的同类研究提供参考.浮游植物初级生产力被小型浮游动物摄食的比例平均为每天60%~75%,大大高于桡足类对浮游植物初级生产力的摄食压力每天10%.海洋浮游细茵的二次生产力相当于初级生产力的30%.其中80%~180%被小型浮游动物摄食.小型浮游动物的毛生长率为30%~40%,生产力是初级生产力的21%~34%.在西班牙西北部沿海,桡足类每天摄食2%~51%小型浮游动物生产力.因此,桡足类通过微食物网摄食的能量是初级生产力的0.4%~17%,与桡足类摄食初级生产的10%处于同一量级.不考虑碎屑提供的能流,小型浮游动物对桡足类饵料的贡献为20%以上,甚至可高达50%.  相似文献

The stable carbon isotopic composition of the planktonic foraminifera Globigerinoides sacculifer and G. ruber (white) and sedimentary organic matter from the northern Gulf of Aqaba have been investigated to estimate changes in 13CDIC in surface waters during the last 1,000 years. The high sedimentation rates at the core sites (about 54 cm/Kyear) provide high temporal resolution (~10 years). Recent sediments at the top of the cores reflect conditions younger than 1950. The 13C records of the planktonic foraminifera from three multicores display similar trends, showing a uniform and consistent pattern before the 1750s, and a gradual decrease of approximately 0.63 over the last two centuries. This decrease seems to track the decrease of 13CDIC in surface waters, which is mainly caused by the increase of anthropogenic input of 13C-depleted CO2 into the atmosphere. Similarly, a trend towards lighter values of the carbon isotopic composition of sedimentary organic matter (13Corg) during the last 200 years supports the interpretation obtained from the planktonic foraminiferal 13C. Furthermore, direct measurements of seawater show that 13C of the dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) in the northern Gulf of Aqaba has decreased by about 0.44 during the period 1979–2000. The average annual decrease is 0.021, which is similar to that observed globally. The 13C values of planktonic foraminifera combined with organic matter 13C from marine sediments are good indicators for reconstructing past changes in atmospheric CO2 concentrations from the northern Gulf of Aqaba.  相似文献

1987年12月—1988年11月对闽南-台湾浅滩上升流区调查结果表明,该海区的介形虫基本属暖水性种类,其中以终生营浮游生活的种类占优势(74.5%),后圆真浮萤Euconchoeciamaimai和针刺真浮萤Euconchoecia aculeata为优势种。外海种和近岸种一般都分别在台湾浅滩南部和福建沿岸水城形成密集区,并向相反方向扩散。夏季(6月)的垂直分布表明,近岸密集区的介形虫载浮于涌升水的上层,远岸的种类和数量分布与次表层水爬坡涌升现象颇为一致。秩季(11月)的垂直分布则反映出沿岸偏低温、低盐水向外扩展的趋势。宽假浮萤Pseudoconchoecia concentrica和短形小浮萤Microconchoecia curta等的出现,对夏季近岸上升流的存在有一定的佐证作用。  相似文献

回顾海洋浮游甲壳类系统学研究的基础上,综述了生化水平和DNA(mtDNA和核DNA)水平的分子系统学研究现状。分子标记中DNA序列分析最为常用,其次是RFLP和RAPD分析,mtDNA主要应用于分类学、群体遗传学、种间分子进化和系统发育重建研究,而核DNA则应用于科以上较高阶元的系统发育和种内、近缘种间的遗传结构和遗传分化研究。最后对存在的问题和应用前景进行了展望。  相似文献

As part of a broader field study examining the potentially deleterious effects of diatoms on planktonic food webs, we examined the abundance, stage composition, diet, and feeding success of the chaetognath, Sagitta elegans, and the abundance and morphometric condition of larval Pacific hake, Merluccius productus. Our objective was to look for a relationship between spring phytoplankton blooms and planktonic predators, as mediated by their copepod prey, with special reference to possible deleterious effects of diatoms. Zooplankton were collected weekly during February–May and in mid-summer of 2002 and 2003 in Dabob Bay, Washington State, USA. S. elegans abundance was high in summer of both years and was higher in spring 2003 than spring 2002. Larval chaetognaths dominated the population in early spring and remained present throughout sampling. S. elegans consumed mostly copepods. The abundance of larval S. elegans was correlated with the abundance of copepodites, although no relationship between chaetognath feeding success and prey abundance was found. Larval Pacific hake abundance was high (1200 larvae per square meter) in late February and early March of 2002 and 2003 and decreased rapidly in late spring. The morphometric condition of M. productus was not significantly related to copepod abundance. These results indicate that any deleterious effects of diatoms on copepod abundance, at the scale seen during spring 2002 and 2003 in Dabob Bay, did not greatly affect the next higher trophic level.  相似文献

The Penninic Ocean was a side tract of the Central Atlantic Oceanic System intercalated between the European and the Austroalpine plates. Its closure started in the Early Cretaceous, as subduction of the oceanic crust beyond the Austroalpine plate. The sedimentary change on the Austroalpine shelf from pelagic carbonates into deep-water siliciclastics correlated with the denudation of the accretionary wedge resulting from that subduction. Within the Bajuvaric Unit of the Upper Austroalpine, this transition is reflected by the lithostratigraphic boundary between the older Schrambach and the younger Tannheim Formation. This boundary is well exposed in a newly discovered site at Sittendorf, southwest of Vienna. This new outcrop yields an extraordinarily rich planktonic foraminifera assemblage characterized by typical Aptian species belonging to Blowiella, Globigerinelloides, Hedbergella, Leupoldina, and Praehedbergella. A detailed biostratigraphic analysis based on thin-section investigations precisely dated the lithostratigraphic boundary within the lower part of the early Aptian Leupoldina cabri Acme Zone, having an approximate age of 123 Ma. Along with the biostratigraphic analyses, the gamma-log outcrop measurement was a powerful tool in interpreting the stratigraphy and the tectonic setting in the outcrop, which intersects one smaller-scale isoclinal fold.  相似文献

Comparison between the planktonic foraminiferal bioevents from different palaeolatitudes suggests that the biostratigraphic criteria used to identify the Maastrichtian stage boundaries are problematic. A new high-resolution calibration of planktonic foraminiferal biostratigraphic, carbon-isotope, and sequence-stratigraphic criteria has been recorded for the first time from the Maastrichtian Sudr Formation at Gebel Matulla, west-central Sinai. The sedimentary successions allow the identification of prominent long-term carbon isotope events in the Maastrichtian, namely the negative excursion of the Campanian–Maastrichtian Boundary Event (CMBE), the positive excursion of the mid-Maastrichtian Event (MME), and the decline towards the Cretaceous-Palaeogene transition (KPgE). Termination of these well known δ13C events is associated with unconformities, created by eustatic sea-level changes, although the long duration argues for superimposed local tectonic control.  相似文献

根据1987年1月17日~2月2日我国第三次南极考察期间,在南设得兰群岛邻近海域所获28个测站的甲藻样品,分析研究了微小型浮游甲藻的种类组成、数量分布和群落结构特征。经鉴定共有11属47种甲藻,其中以圆甲藻属(Gyrodinium spp.)、裸甲藻属Gymnodinium spp.)和原多甲藻属(Protoperidinium spp.)为主。网样甲藻平均丰度为(6.47×10~3个/m~3;水样甲藻平均丰度达2511.43×10~3个/m~3。微小型浮游甲藻的组成具有鲜明的南极海区的地方特点,大部分种是南极地区特有种,适宜在南极高寒海域大量繁殖;部分种为南极沿岸种或南极—亚南极冷水种;还有一部分为南极寒海域冷水种或分布较广的寒温带种;仅个别为广温广布种;南极海域出现的甲藻类分别代表着南极海域生物地理学和海洋生态学的特点。  相似文献

An incomplete rostrum of a platypterygiine ichthyosaur (IGVR 94574) has recently been found near Tregnago (Verona, Italy), in the Lessini Mts. This is the first Cretaceous ichthyosaurian fossil found in Italy outside the northern Apennines, where fragmentary remains have been recovered since the 19th century.IGVR 94574 is a mid-distal rostral fragment infilled by a white, fine-grained limestone matrix. It consists of the premaxilla, nasal, vomer, dentary, and splenial, together with 20 teeth.Even if the exact horizon of provenance is unknown, analysis of the microfossil content of the matrix (planktonic foraminifera and calcareous nannofossils) allowed us to assign it to the lower part of the upper Albian. This is also the first Cretaceous ichthyosaur in Italy with a precise age: all previously reported fossils from the Apennines could not be dated due to the complete absence of microfossils in the surrounding matrix.We assign IGVR 94572 to Platypterygiinae; generic specification is not possible pending the taxonomic revision of the genus Platypterygius.Finally, the Tregnago rostrum is strikingly similar to the specimen IPUM 30139 from Gombola (Modena, Italy), stored in the collections of the Paleontological Museum of Modena and Reggio Emilia University and also attributable to a platypterygiine ichthyosaur. The comparison between these two fossils reveals the teeth are very similar both in shape and size.  相似文献

The early Paleogene is critical for understanding global biodiversity patterns in modern ecosystems. During this interval, Southern Hemisphere continents were largely characterized by isolation and faunal endemism following the breakup of Gondwana. Africa has been proposed as an important source area for the origin of several marine vertebrate groups but its Paleogene record is poorly sampled, especially from sub-Saharan Africa. To document the early Paleogene marine ecosystems of Central Africa, we revised the stratigraphic context of sedimentary deposits from three fossil-rich vertebrate localities: the Landana section in the Cabinda exclave(Angola), and the Manzadi and Bololo localities in western Democratic Republic of Congo.We provide more refined age constraints for these three localities based on invertebrate and vertebrate faunas, foraminiferal and dinoflagellate cyst assemblages, and carbon isotope records. We find an almost complete absence of Danian-aged rocks in the Landana section, contrary to prevailing interpretations over the last half a century(only the layer 1, at the base of the section, seems to be Danian). Refining the age of these Paleocene layers is crucial for analyzing fish evolution in a global framework, with implications for the early appearance of Scombridae(tunas and mackerels) and Tetraodontiformes(puffer fishes). The combination of vertebrate fossil records from Manzadi and Landana sections suggests important environmental changes around the K/Pg transition characterized by an important modification of the ichthyofauna. A small faunal shift may have occurred during the Selandian. More dramatic is the distinct decrease in overall richness that lasts from the Selandian to the Ypresian. The Lutetian of West Central Africa is characterized by the first appearance of numerous cartilaginous and bony fishes. Our analysis of the ichthyofauna moreover indicates two periods of faunal exchanges: one during the Paleocene, where Central Africa appears to have been a source for the European marine fauna, and another during the Eocene when Europe was the source of the Central Africa fauna. These data indicate that Central Africa has had connections with the Tethyian realm.  相似文献
