The objective of the proposed method is to utilize a site investigation of a debris flow disaster and verify a real scale analysis to evaluate the impulsive load on an open sabo dam. The Nagiso debris flow disaster which occurred in Nagano in 2014, where damage caused by Typhoon Neogri was studied. The verification result of the site investigation demonstrated the weak components of the open Sabo dam experienced damage owing to the debris flow. A discrete element method is normally applied to a solid body to calculate an interaction function force with respect to the contact point between boulders and the dam. The numerical method initially concatenates elements that model the open Sabo dam. Moreover, the stiffness coefficient of flanges and coupling joints between pipes was expressed to utilize the sectional partition method to determine the structural characteristics. The method was improved to separate from the connecting elements beyond the boundary conditions. The debris flow model uses a water flow distribution model, and the debris flow flowed from 200 m upstream of the open sabo dam. Accordingly, the proposed method was examined to verify the primary cause of damage to the open sabo dam and used to reproduce the circumstances that evaluated the impulsive load occurrence mechanism in the case of a real disaster. In addition, the coupling joints between the hollow steel pipes utilized a ‘reproduction analysis’ for a real sabo dam and a ‘reinforced analysis’ for a reinforced sabo dam were applied to assess the weak point of the dam.  相似文献

In three Larrea shrublands, cacti grow under Larrea canopy at northern and southern exposures and in open spaces were counted. Cacti distribution was related to environmental variables. Seven out of the 15 cacti present were found to be associated with shrubs, whereas the other species were found in the open spaces. The lower temperature and radiation occurring under shrubs at south exposures would explain the absence of cacti in these places. The higher organic matter, nutrients, and moisture in the soils under shrubs appeared to be correlated with higher cacti density. The presence of cacti seedlings only under shrubs could be attributed to the favourable environmental conditions for cacti seed germination and seedling survival that occurred in these places.  相似文献

We apply geospatial analysis to borehole imagery in an effort to develop new techniques to evaluate the spatial distribution and internal structure of karst conduits. Remote sensing software is used to classify a high resolution, digital borehole image of limestone bedrock from the Biscayne aquifer (South Florida, USA) into a binary image divided into cells of rock matrix and pores. Within a GIS, 2D porosity is calculated for a series of rectangular sampling windows placed over the binary image and then plotted as a function of depth. Potential conduits that intersect the borehole are identified as peaks of high porosity. A second GIS technique identifies a conduit as a continuous object that spans the entire borehole width. According to these criteria, geospatial analysis reveals ∼10 discrete conduits along the ∼15 m borehole image. Continuous sampling of the geologic medium intersected by the borehole provides insight into the internal structure of karst aquifers and the evolution of karst features. Most importantly, this pilot study demonstrates that GIS-based techniques are capable of quantifying the depths, dimensions, shapes, apertures and connectivity of potential conduits, physical attributes that impact flow in karst aquifers.  相似文献

The fluid flow system can be described by an equivalent electromagnetic system. In this paper a successful application of the Biot–Savart law in hydraulics is presented. Similarity between the magnetic field of a current wire and the isovel contours in a channel cross-section is used to derive the isovel patterns in an open or closed channel. Having obtained the normalized isovel contours, one can easily obtain the discharge using a single point of velocity measurement at the conduit cross-section. The estimated discharge, based on measured points and the predicted isovels on the upper half of the flow depth away from the boundaries was within ±5% of the measured and much better in comparison to the prediction of one- and two-point methods. Furthermore, the model was applied to real life channels. The prediction of the water surface velocity for the River Unon in Japan and depth-averaged velocity for the Severn River in UK show a good agreement with the measured data and analytical results.  相似文献

Secondary motions are commonly present in open channel flows. This study aims to investigate, both experimentally and analytically, time-mean characteristics of cellular secondary flows generated by longitudinal bedforms. Experiments were conducted in a tilting, rectangular flume with six different longitudinal bedforms, including alternate bed strips with different roughness heights and bed ridges of wavy and rectangular shapes. Various flows were sampled using a two-dimensional laser Doppler anemometer (LDA) and a one-dimensional ultrasonic Doppler velocimeter (UDV). Experimental results demonstrate secondary flows appearing basically in cellular fashion over the modeled longitudinal bedforms. It is also shown that the cellular structures can be described analytically with kinematic considerations. The discrepancies between theoretical and measurement results are discussed. An empirical relationship between maximum vertical velocity and bed configuration is finally proposed based on the experimental data.  相似文献

矿物沸腾包裹体是矿液处在沸腾相态下被矿物捕获的包裹体,它具有不同形态、不同大小、不同类型混乱产出的特征,包裹体溶液含盐度高,均一温度变化大,有些包裹体可能含有围岩碎屑。温度、压力、盐度是影响矿液沸腾的因素。研究沸腾包裹体有助于研究矿床形成的地质条件和矿液运移方式,可提供找矿信息。均一温度用所测数据两极值或中值作为成矿温度均不恰当,应以均一温度最小的液、气相包裹体的均一温度作为试样所在处的成矿温度较为适宜,成矿压力亦采用这种包裹体所测得的压力值作为代表较为恰当。  相似文献

GS-15型重力仪是利用摆杆位移大小来量度重力相对变化的精密仪器,摆杆位移是通过电容换能进行测量。由于该仪器为开环检测系统,而且系统的末级加接0.01Hz的有源滤波器,这样就失去了大于0.01Hz的高频成分,且使潮波产生相位失真,同时还存在着电路非线性带来的测量误差,因而测量精度难以提高。为此笔者对GS-15型重力仪加装了电磁反馈装置,将开环检测改为闭环检测,利用电磁力使重力仪摆杆始终处于零电平的动态平衡状态,以电磁反馈输出大小来度量重力的变化,这样就将开环检测系统改装为平衡电桥闭环检测系统,其时间常数为2秒。 改装后,消除了电路的非线性影响,增强了系统的稳定性,记录的固体潮含有丰富的谐波,同时系统还增加了一路稳态零位输出,为地壳形变、地震预报和地球物理研究提供了波群丰富的资料  相似文献

Summary The most popular exploitation method used in Canadian hard rock mines is open stope mining. Geomechanical design of open stopes relies on a range of analytical, numerical and empirical tools. This paper presents an engineering approach for the analysis and the design of reinforcement for open stopes in jointed rock. The proposed methodology, illustrated by three case studies, relies on developing 3D joint network models from field data. The 3D joint networks have been successfully linked to a 3D limit equilibrium software package. The models account for the finite length of joints as well as the influence of random joints. The integrated approach facilitates comparative analyses of different reinforcement strategies under different degrees of jointing in the hard rock environment.
