本文探讨了将商业有限元软件COMSOL Multiphysics应用于地震电信号选择性三维数值模拟方面可能面临的一些问题.在检验算法可靠性的同时,通过选取不同类型的边界条件、不同大小的计算区域、不同的介质电性参数以及地表介质电性非均匀性和地下特定导电通道等不同电性结构模型等,考察了影响地震电信号选择性数值模拟结果的一些可能因素.结果表明,在开展地震电信号选择性数值模拟研究时需对模型参数的选取进行必要的分析,而地表介质电性非均匀性以及地下特定导电通道等可以较好地解释地震电信号选择性现象,其贡献的大小与模型具体的电性结构和对比度等参数有关. 相似文献

目前临界孔隙度及孔隙介质的研究主要为测试分析的实验方法,如何运用数值计算方法求取孔隙流体介质临界点和组分弹性参数一直是备受关注的课题.本文提出了求取孔隙介质临界点、孔隙内流体和骨架弹性参数的数值计算公式及方法,并结合含气样品测试数据实现了这种数值计算.文章首先给出了3个包含孔隙度的线性方程,通过有机组合每个线性方程中的两个系数得到求取有关弹性参数的数值计算公式.然后,详细阐述了计算的方法和步骤以及需要注意的问题,把室内含气砂岩样品实测的综合介质密度、纵波速度和横波速度作为数值计算的输入数据,求得了临界点和流体及骨架等相关弹性参数的具体数值.通过比较分析本文数学方法求得的计算数据与实验方法测得的实测数据,表明了该数值计算公式的正确性和数值实现方法的有效性. 相似文献

The study covered by this paper was focused on the historical case of the Calitri landslide, which was repeatedly reactivated by earthquakes, as reported since 1694. The town of Calitri (Southern Italy) is located on a ridge whose southern slope, from its top to the Ofanto river valley floor, has been historically affected by major landsliding. The last record of recurrence of the Calitri landslide leads back to the 1980 Irpinia earthquake, which caused significant damage to the town and had pervasive and visible ground effects. Based on a detailed historical reconstruction of landsliding and seismicity at Calitri, the study analysed the current static and dynamic stability of the landsliding slope by means of a finite-difference numerical analysis, taking into account the various factors of landslide initiation and kinematics. The results of the numerical analysis: (i) were consistent with the roto-translational mechanism observed upon the latest reactivation of the landslide; (ii) demonstrated that excess pore pressure redistribution caused a lag between the seismic trigger and the initiation of landsliding; and (iii) showed the impact of seismic input frequency on propagation and depth of slope instability. 相似文献

A high resolution (3–8 km grid), 3D numerical ocean model of the West Caribbean Sea (WCS) is used to investigate the variability
and the forcing of flows near the Meso-American Barrier Reef System (MBRS) which runs along the coasts of Mexico, Belize,
Guatemala and Honduras. Mesoscale variations in velocity and temperature along the reef were found in seasonal model simulations
and in observations; these variations are associated with meandering of the Caribbean current (CC) and the propagation of
Caribbean eddies. Diagnostic calculations and a simple assimilation technique are combined to infer the dynamically adjusted
flow associated with particular eddies. The results demonstrate that when a cyclonic eddy (negative sea surface height anomaly
(SSHA)) is found near the MBRS the CC shifts offshore, the cyclonic circulation in the Gulf of Honduras (GOH) intensifies,
and a strong southward flow results along the reef. However, when an anticyclonic eddy (positive SSHA) is found near the reef,
the CC moves onshore and the flow is predominantly westward across the reef. The model results help to explain how drifters
are able to propagate in a direction opposite to the mean circulation when eddies cause a reversal of the coastal circulation.
The effect of including the Meso-American Lagoon west of the Belize Reef in the model topography was also investigated, to
show the importance of having accurate coastal topography in determining the variations of transports across the MBRS. The
variations found in transports across the MBRS (on seasonal and mesoscale time scales) may have important consequences for
biological activities along the reef such as spawning aggregations; better understanding the nature of these variations will
help ongoing efforts in coral reef conservation and maintaining the health of the ecosystem in the region. 相似文献

This paper presents a review of the most interesting observations of low-frequency plasma waves together with plasma particles which were made by the Interball 1, Magion 4 and Prognoz 8 satellites in the outer polar cusp. Accelerated plasma particles, hot electron populations and very strong wave activity, particularly at low frequencies, are observed. A detailed study of the wave spectra together with the distribution function for electrons indicate the correlation between the presence of lower-hybrid waves and the population of the particles with higher energy than in the surrounding space. These experimental facts suggest that strong coupling between waves and particles is responsible for plasma heating. During polar cusp crossings by Interball 1 and Prognoz 8, FFT analysis of the wave form indicates many bursts of ULF emissions in both electric and magnetic components. These waves have highly non-stationary characteristics. To study the dynamics of changes in the spectral characteristics of the waves wavelet analysis has been used. Nonlinear interactions are studied using bispectral methods of analysis. This presentation gives the results of such an analysis for selected cusp crossings at different altitudes. An example of wave activity registered by the STAFF instrument onboard the CLUSTER spacecraft in the polar cusp is also presented. 相似文献

This work presents an efficient methodology for the analysis of vibrations in a railroad track system, induced by the passage of conventional and high-speed trains. To this end the Boundary Element Method is used to model the soil-tie system within the framework of impulse response techniques. Conventional Finite Element Methods along with Newmark's integration is used for the modeling of the rail system. The two methods are coupled at the tie-rail interface and the solution is obtained following a staggered, time marching scheme in an efficient manner. The methodology accounts for Soil-Structure Interaction and traveling wave effects. Upscaling is a major issue regarding mechanical and transport properties of rocks. This paper examines three issues relative
to upscaling. The first one is a brief overview of Effective Medium Theory (EMT), which is a key tool to predict average rock
properties at a macroscopic scale in the case of a statistically homogeneous medium. EMT is of particular interest in the
calculation of elastic properties. As discussed in this paper, EMT can thus provide a possible way to perform upscaling, although
it is by no means the only one, and in particular it is irrelevant if the medium does not adhere to statistical homogeneity.
This last circumstance is examined in part two of the paper. We focus on the example of constructing a hydrocarbon reservoir
model. Such a construction is a required step in the process of making reasonable predictions for oil production. Taking into
account rock permeability, lithological units and various structural discontinuities at different scales is part of this construction.
The result is that stochastic reservoir models are built that rely on various numerical upscaling methods. These methods are
reviewed. They provide techniques which make it possible to deal with upscaling on a general basis. Finally, a last case in
which upscaling is trivial is considered in the third part of the paper. This is the fractal case. Fractal models have become
popular precisely because they are free of the assumption of statistical homogeneity and yet do not involve numerical methods.
It is suggested that using a physical criterion as a means to discriminate whether fractality is a dream or reality would
be more satisfactory than relying on a limited data set alone. 相似文献
