对一个爆发于2014年1月7日的太阳风暴进行了研究,通过对太阳活动的多波段遥感观测—来自于太阳动力学天文台(Solar Dynamics Observatory,SDO)以及太阳和日球天文台(Solar and Heliospheric Observatory,SOHO),分析了耀斑和日冕物质抛射(coronal mass ejection,CME)的爆发过程.通过地球同步轨道环境业务卫星(Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites,GOES)对高能质子以及日地L1点的元素高级成分探测器(Advanced Composition Explorer,ACE)对当地等离子体环境的就位观测,分析了伴随太阳风暴的太阳高能粒子(solar energetic particle,SEP)事件和行星际CME(ICME)及其驱动的激波.通过地面磁场数据分析了该太阳风暴对地磁场的影响.研究结果表明:(1)耀斑脉冲相的开始时刻和CME在日面上的抛射在时序上一致.(2)高能质子主要源于CME驱动的激波加速,并非源于耀斑磁重联过程.质子的释放发生在CME传播到7.7个太阳半径的高度的时刻.(3)穿过近地空间的行星际激波鞘层的厚度和ICME本身的厚度分别为0.22 au和0.26 au.(4)行星际激波和ICME引起了多次地磁亚暴和极光,但没有产生明显的地磁暴.原因在于ICME没有包含一个规则的磁云结构或明显的南向磁场分量. 相似文献

人们用语言描述空间关系时所选用的词汇反映了他们对于物体空间状态的认识.语言如何表达空间关系与很多因素有关,除了空间实体的特征和它们之间的空间关系,描述者个人的特征也影响到描述的语言,例如描述者的语言和文化上的差异,以及性别、年龄和受教育程度等.本文将通过认知实验,比较不同语言、文化背景的人对线状物体空间关系描述的理解.主要对比了两组人群:母语为英语的人群和母语为汉语的人群.共进行了3组实验:母语为英语的人群对英语描述的线状物体空间关系的理解;母语为汉语的人群对英语描述的线状物体空间关系的理解;以及母语为汉语的人群对汉语描述的线状物体空间关系的理解.采用相同的题目,比较了3组实验的结果.结果表明语言文化在一定程度上影响了人们对空间关系描述的理解. 相似文献

The problem of seawater intrusion is considered for the case of a confined coastal aquifer in which there is steady seaward
flow of fresh water. Using the GWCH2O model, the problem is solved first for the case of no dispersion where a distinct interface
exists separating the fresh water from the salt water. The problem is solved next by taking into account dispersion and diffusion
of the salt-water component, along with the density effect. In this respect, a two-dimensional finite-element model, 2D-VDTRAN,
is developed to simulate density-dependent solute transport.
To investigate the limitation of the sharp-interface approach in coastal aquifers for conditions of both steady state and
unsteady state, the problem is solved twice using the two models with different parameter values. These parameters are combined
in dimensionless form, resulting in four named parameters: seepage factor (A); dispersion-to-advection ratio (B); geometry
ratio (C); and time-scale factor (T). Using the density-dependent model, the dimensionless width of the transition zone (W/L)
is determined for different values of A, B, C, and T. Steady-state simulations show that the sharp-interface approach is valid
only when the system is dominated by advection, i.e., when 0<B≤5% for all values of A and C, or when A≥65% for all values
of B and C. However, the unsteady-state analysis shows that the applicability of the sharp-interface approach is sufficiently
accurate at early times.

Agricultural land use in much of Brong-Ahafo region, Ghana has been shifting from the production of food crops towards increased cashew nut cultivation in recent years. This article explores everyday, less visible, gendered and generational struggles over family farms in West Africa, based on qualitative, participatory research in a rural community that is becoming increasingly integrated into the global capitalist system. As a tree crop, cashew was regarded as an individual man’s property to be passed on to his wife and children rather than to extended family members, which differed from the communal land tenure arrangements governing food crop cultivation. The tendency for land, cash crops and income to be controlled by men, despite women’s and young people’s significant labour contributions to family farms, and for women to rely on food crop production for their main source of income and for household food security, means that women and girls are more likely to lose out when cashew plantations are expanded to the detriment of land for food crops. Intergenerational tensions emerged when young people felt that their parents and elders were neglecting their views and concerns. The research provides important insights into gendered and generational power relations regarding land access, property rights and intra-household decision-making processes. Greater dialogue between genders and generations may help to tackle unequal power relations and lead to shared decision-making processes that build the resilience of rural communities. 相似文献

The pseudo-binary system Mg3Al2Si3O12–Na2MgSi5O12 modelling the sodium-bearing garnet solid solutions has been studied at 7 and 8.5 GPa and 1,500–1,950°C. The Na-bearing garnet
is a liquidus phase of the system up to 60 mol% Na2MgSi5O12 (NaGrt). At higher content of NaGrt in the system, enstatite (up to ∼80 mol%) and then coesite are observed as liquidus phases.
Our experiments provided evidence for a stable sodium incorporation in garnet (0.3–0.6 wt% Na2O) and its control by temperature and pressure. The highest sodium contents were obtained in experiments at P = 8.5 GPa. Near the liquidus (T = 1,840°C), the equilibrium concentration of Na2O in garnet is 0.7–0.8 wt% (∼6 mol% Na2MgSi5O12). With the temperature decrease, Na concentration in Grt increases, and the maximal Na2MgSi5O12 content of ∼12 mol% (1.52 wt% Na2O) is gained at the solidus of the system (T = 1,760°С). The data obtained show that most of natural diamonds, with inclusions of Na-bearing garnets usually containing
<0.4 wt% Na2O, could be formed from sodium-rich melts at pressures lower than 7 GPa. Majoritic garnets with higher sodium concentrations
(>1 wt% Na2O) may crystallize at a pressure range of 7.0–8.5 GPa. However the upper pressure limit for the formation of naturally occurring

The modernisation of local government has attempted to reinvent central-local government relations by offering freedoms and flexibilities to facilitate the governance of local issues. At the same time, a shift to outcome focussed targets as a new form of governmental rationality allows central government to delimit these opportunities. Drawing on aspects of governmentality and actor-network theory, the paper explores the tensions between these modes of government. It argues that outcome focussed targets circumscribe the limits of local governance by offering a despatialised technology of government. Using a case study of Local Public Service Agreements, the paper highlights the problems 10 English rural local authorities have experienced in their attempts to construct and negotiate a series of local policy targets with central government. The paper shows how the spatial limitations of statistical governance conspire against the construction of targets which reflect local policy priorities. In conclusion we consider the extent to which these limitations are a deliberate act of control and consider the implications for agency within networks of governmentality. 相似文献

Abstract: Deep-water turbidite channels have attracted much attention as a focused issue in petroleum exploration and development. Extensive studies have been performed on the architecture of turbidite channels, and most researches have focused on their geometric shapes, sedimentary processes and controlling factors. However, little attention has been paid to the distribution patterns, distribution laws and quantitative studies of composite sand bodies of turbidite channels. Taken one slope area of the Niger Delta Basin as an example, this study conducted a semi-quantitative to quantitative analysis on architecture of composite sand bodies of turbidite channels based on cores, well logging and seismic surveys. It is shown that turbidite channel systems can be classified as confined and unconfined channel systems. For confined channel systems, the vertical evolution process involves four stages. The sinuosity of a channel system is controlled by slope, with a negative power function relationship between them. When slope gradient reaches four degrees, the channel system is nearly straight. Based on the migration direction and migration amount of single channels within channel complexes, channel composite patterns can be divided into four classes (the lateral composite, en-echelon composite, swing composite and vertical composite) and several subclasses. Various channel composite patterns show specific distribution laws spatially. For meandering channel complexes at the middle-late evolution stage of confined channel systems, the lateral migration amongst single channels shows the features of integrity and succession. The sinuosity of single channels in the late period is greater than that in the early period, and cut-offs may occur locally when the sinuosity is larger than five degrees. This study provides a better understanding for the geological theory of deep-water sedimentary, and also improves exploitation benefits of this type of reservoirs. 相似文献
