Heating, ventilating, and air‐conditioning (HVAC) systems ensure indoor air quality and provide a comfortable environment. However, the conventional HVAC systems only provide indoor ventilation and adjust temperature and humidity. This work removes indoor volatile organic compounds (VOCs) using a feasible and novel air‐cleaning for an HVAC system, to remove indoor VOCs. An activated carbon‐fiber (ACF) filter calcined with copper oxide (CuO) catalyst, called a CuO/ACF catalyst filter, was the developed kit. Formaldehyde, a major VOC, was chosen as the target pollutant. Experiments were performed to confirm the filtration ability of the CuO/ACF catalyst filter in removing formaldehyde in a stainless‐steel chamber equipped with a simplified HVAC system. Total air exchange rate (ACH) was controlled at 0.5 and 1.0 h−1, the fresh ACH was 0.15 and 0.30 h−1, and relative humidity (RH) was set at 30 and 70%. A first‐order decay of formaldehyde existed in the controlled chamber when the two pretreated CuO/ACF catalyst filters were employed. Experimental results demonstrate that the CuO/ACF catalyst filters removed formaldehyde effectively. The decay constant was 0.425 and 0.618 h−1 for 0.5 and 2.0 ppm formaldehyde, respectively. Moreover, the formaldehyde decay rate increased as total ACH, fresh ACH, RH, and the Cu(NO3)2 concentration for calcination of CuO/ACF catalyst filter increased.  相似文献

在调查华北平原一个污染年限超过35年的石油化工场地时,采用便携式仪器土层测气方法,快速、准确地测定了场地内40多个钻孔不同深度土层中挥发性有机物(VOCs)的浓度。基于对场地地质水文地质条件的认识,以及通过对大量数据的分析对比和应用空间变异分析方法,得出了对场地土层介质中VOCs污染特征的如下认识:(1)土层VOCs浓度的垂向变化可概括为污染源淋滤型、包气带扩散污染型、地下水波动带污染型和混合污染型四种污染类型;(2)在包气带砂土层和粉土层中,VOCs的扩散规律可近似用指数模型描述;(3)包气带土层中VOCs优先积聚在渗透性强的砂性土层中,砂土层中VOCs浓度是粉土层中VOCs浓度的1.5~12倍,平均3.76倍;(4)土层VOCs浓度的水平变异性表现为包气带土层的变异性要比地下水波动带土层大,且水平变异性能在25m尺度内得到充分显示;而土层VOCs浓度的垂向变异性随地而异,变化复杂,很难用统一的一个量化尺度来表征。本文对这一典型污染场地的剖析,有助于从事污染场地调查人员认识我国华北平原石油化工类场地的污染特征,并为调查与治理类似污染场地提供技术依据。  相似文献

The effect of experimental method on the settlement pattern of Ostrea Iutaria was tested. The intensity of settlement differed with the type of settlement surface and the angle of the surface. The method of arranging the plates, in series or singly, was critical in determining the variation of spatfall with surface angle; the type of plate had no effect on this. Possibly, a factor such as turbulence differences within the plate units affecting free‐swimming larvae about to settle could account for the different settlement patterns but whether these could be caused by a reversal of iesponses or to some passive concentraton mechanism is unknown. Similar variation in experimental techniques probably accounts for most of the conflict in previous reports on the pattern of oyster settlement related to surface angle.  相似文献

通过对龙门山映秀-北川断裂平溪黑色断层泥一系列的分析测试,发现黑色断层泥中含有约9wt%的有机质组分,并且属于干酪根类型。通过对有机质的气相色谱质谱分析得到,其中主要的烷烃化合物成分为正构烷烃(C14-C21)、无环异戊二烯烷烃(姥鲛烷和植烷)、甾烷、萜烷和n烷基环已烷(C10-C21)。对有机化合物的初步分析表明,有机质形成于海相或咸水湖泊相的还原环境,并且赋存时间长,有机质成熟度高。通过对比实验发现,黑色断层泥中有机质的出现能够显著地弱化断层的摩擦强度以及提高断层摩擦滑动的稳定性。  相似文献

Continuous weekly monitoring on the concentration of gases and aerosols in urban ambient air by a four-stage filter-pack method was carried out for 7 years in order to study not only the acid-base balance of acid-related (HNO3, NO3 , and non-sea-salt-(nss-)SO4 2−) and alkali-related (NH3, NH4 +, and nss-Ca2+) chemical species but also its influence on the acidification of precipitation. The concentrations of the total nitrate (= NO3 + HNO3) and nss-SO42− showed a similar seasonal variation: high in the summer and low in the winter. The total nitrate and nss-SO42− accounted for 0.43 and 0.57 of the acid-related species, respectively, on an equivalent basis. The total ammonium (= NH3 + NH4+) accounted for more than 0.9 of the alkali-related species, except for a springtime nss-Ca2+ episodic peak. The alkali-related species were generally overabundant compared with the acid-related species in the HNO3-NO3-nss-SO42−-NH3-NH4+-nss-Ca2+ system. The alkali-rich distribution was especially pronounced in the winter, but the acid-related species was comparable to the alkali-related species in the summer, which was attributed to the larger H+ deposition by precipitation in the summer. This study can provide a methodology to associate survey results obtained by a filter-pack method with those of precipitation.  相似文献

Aggregate crushing is a phenomenon occurring in carbonate soils under shear and compressive loads resulting in settlement of the offshore structures such as piers, bridges, waterfronts, wharfs, and oil and gas extraction platform foundations. Therefore, it is of significant importance to address the above-mentioned issue through a comprehensive study. In the present research, the texture of carbonate soil in south Iran coasts and its effect at high hydrostatic pressure (2?MPa) on aggregate crushing was studied. The physical properties of coastal soils, such as the effective grain size, shape index, and angularity were then characterized to investigate their effect on grain crushing grade. The results showed that the effective grain size, shape index, angularity, and calcium carbonate content are the main parameters affecting the crushing of grains and consequently settlement of marine soils. Based on the above parameters, a relationship is proposed to estimate grain crushing in carbonate soils.  相似文献
