Development and Extension of Seawater Desalination by Reverse Osmosis

Seawater desalination has been people‘s fond dream since ancient times,the dream is now becoming a reality.This paper presents a brief development history of reverse osmosis.Much attention was paid to innovative development in mebranes,modules.equipments and applied technology,including asymmetric and composite membranes,spiral-wound element and hollow fiber module,energy recovery equipments and different technological processes.The extension of reverse osmosis,such as desalination,pre-concentration,integrated processes and nanofiltration,is also briefly mentioned.     

Medical geology：new relevance in the earth sciences

This review introduces the historical context of this particular type of research, contrasts the direct geological and indirect natural hazard influences on healthas a framework of study, elaborates on pathways of elemental accumulation in the body and provides examples of specific geochemical behaviours and diseases that are often associated with either too much or not enough of certain elements which comprise the Earth.     

浅谈目前我国的养虾业

对虾养殖生态系有机质含量及其不同测定方法的数值比较

对５个对虾养殖围隔生态系有机质含量及其不同测定方法所得结果进行了比较研究。结果表明：有机质总量波动在７．５６￣１９．７６ｍｇ．Ｌ＾－１（ＴＣＯ）或４．７６￣６．２５ｍｇ．Ｌ＾－１（ＣＯＤ）,平均为１３．０５±２．８５ｍｇ．Ｌ＾－１（ＴＯＣ）或５．５２±０．４０ｍｇ．Ｌ＾－１（ＣＯＤ）。总有机质中,溶解有机质所占比例为７６％（ＤＯＣ／ＴＯＣ）或８２％（ＤＣＯＤ／ＣＯＤ）;溶解有机质与颗粒有机质的比例     

红海及亚丁湾间之海水交换

分析表观耗氧量、滴定碱度及总二氧化碳量等资料来研判红海及亚丁湾间之海水交换。结果显示,红海深层水的方解石及霰石饱和度均比亚丁湾和阿拉伯海深层水的饱和度高。红海全水柱之方解石和霰石都处於过饱和状态,亚丁湾和阿拉伯海中各深度之方解石亦呈过饱和状态,但霰石的饱和探度则大约在500m左右。分析深层水之生物体无机碳与有机碳的分解比值,可以发现此地区深层水中,大约有25％的总二氧化碳增加量是由无机碳酸钙溶解而来。
