海藻可延缓气候变暖

日前,一只研究队伍乘英国皇家海军勘察船“忍耐号”在南极海域进行科考时有了新的发现：当冰山消融的时候,就有铁质颗粒被释放进海洋里,铁质颗粒是海藻的营养物质,海藻的生长能够吸收大量的二氧化碳,然后海藻沉入海底,将有害的温室气体在深海里羁留数百年。     

东地中海对气候作用力的响应：来自最后两个间冰期高峰的认知

有关地中海海洋系统对气候效应的灵敏性这一问题仍处于争辩阶段。在这里,我们研究了在过去最后两个间冰期高峰期间东地中海海洋循环对日照效应的长期反应,在这期间大规模的水文变化导致了富含有机质的沉积物的沉积。     

Singularly perturbed solution of coupled model in atmosphere-ocean for global climate

A box model of the interhemispheric thermohaline circulation （THC） in atmosphere-ocean for global climate is considered. By using the multi-scales method, the asymptotic solution of a simplified weakly nonlinear model is discussed. Firstly, by introducing first scale, the zeroth order approximate solution of the model is obtained. Secondly, by using the multi-scales, the first order approximate equation of the model is found. Finally, second order approximate equation is formed to eliminate the secular terms, and a uniformly valid asymptotic expansion of solution is decided. The multi-scales solving method is an analytic method which can be used to analyze operation sequentially. And then we can also study the diversified qualitative and quantitative behaviors for corresponding physical quantities. This paper aims at providing a valid method for solving a box model of the nonlinear equation.     

Modeling Arctic Ocean heat transport and warming episodes in the 20th century caused by the intruding Atlantic Water

This study investigates the Arctic Ocean warming episodes in the 20th century using both a high-resolution coupled global climate model and historical observations. The model, with no flux adjustment, reproduces well the Atlantic Water core temperature （AWCT） in the Arctic Ocean and shows that four largest decadalscale warming episodes occurred in the 1930s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, in agreement with the hydrographic observational data. The difference is that there was no pre-warming prior to the 1930s episode, while there were two pre-warming episodes in the 1970s and 80s prior to the 1990s, leading the 1990s into the largest and prolonged warming in the 20th century. Over the last century, the simulated heat transport via Fram Strait and the Barents Sea was estimated to be, on average, 31.32 TW and 14.82 TW, respectively, while the Bering Strait also provides 15.94 TW heat into the west- ern Arctic Ocean. Heat transport into the Arctic Ocean by the Atlantic Water via Fram Strait and the Barents Sea correlates significantly with AWCT （ C = 0.75 ） at 0- lag. The modeled North Atlantic Oscillation （NAO） index has a significant correlation with the heat transport （ C = 0.37 ）. The observed AWCT has a significant correlation with both the modeled AWCT （ C =0.49） and the heat transport （ C =0.41 ）. However, the modeled NAO index does not significantly correlate with either the observed AWCT （ C = 0.03 ） or modeled AWCT （ C = 0.16 ） at a zero-lag, indicating that the Arctic climate system is far more complex than expected.

到2010年,力争西部形成一批重要资源后备勘查开发基地,取得200个以上危机矿山接替资源找矿突破,新发现约10个亿吨级油田和8～10个千亿方级气田,新发现和评价大型重要矿产地约200处。完成陆域国土25％面积的1：5万区域地质调查,完成我国管辖海域50％面积的1：100万海洋区域地质调查。     

小秦岭金矿区新增黄金储量42吨

近日,记者从河南省地矿局第一地质调查队获悉,这个队以韧性剪切带构造控矿理论为指导,实施的小秦岭5个全国危机矿山接替资源勘查项目均取得了阶段性成果,共发现黄金资源量42.6吨。     

武汉大冶铁矿深部添矿2300万吨

日前,从武汉钢铁（集团）获悉,被誉为“武钢粮仓”的大冶铁矿,新近又探明深部铁矿资源2300万吨,打破了大冶铁矿资源枯竭的论断。同时还发现了铜、金等矿藏资源,这将使这一被列为我国九大“危机矿山”之一的百年老矿,开采年限延长30-40年。     

广西德保铜锡矿床控矿因素及外围找矿预测

文章通过对德保铜锡矿床的控矿因素的综合分析,并结合地质物化探成果,提出2个成矿预测区,即钦甲矿区边部预测区和同德预测区,为继续开展找矿勘查工作、扩大危机矿山的资源量提供靶区.     

夏半年川西高原600 hPa低涡活动特征

600 hPa天气系统能够分析川西高原低涡变化的主要特征,并能识别低涡的发展移动和川西高原强降水落区的关系。利用1979—2020年逐3 h的ERA5再分析资料(0.25°×0.25°)和2011—2020年逐小时降水资料,对夏半年川西高原600 hPa低涡活动特征、低涡与降水的关系及致雨低涡动力和热力特征进行统计分析,结果表明：(1)42年间低涡年均80个,持续时间1 d以内占总数的95.7%;在川西高原本地生成、移入和移出低涡年均61.5个、18个和5.3个;低涡源地和消散地分别在甘孜州白玉县和理塘县为中心的区域。(2)生命史大于12 h的低涡占比36.4%,都会带来降水,其中超83.7%会造成中雨以上降水;低涡伴随的日降水强度最大值中心位置随月份先由川西高原东部与南部地区北移到中部,之后逐渐移回到东部与南部地区,相对应7—8月多低涡从北部南移到中部摆动消亡,其余月份多低涡从中部生成影响到东部和南部地区或在南部生成并停滞或摆动。(3)强烈垂直上升运动和正涡度区的耦合发展以及深厚不稳定层结的形成和加强是致雨低涡发生发展并产生强降水的动力特征和热力层结条件。     

北极和南极表面温度对中低纬度海洋热强迫的响应

利用耦合了平板海洋模型的全球气候模式进行了大量的格林函数实验,以探究两极地区对于施加在中低纬度海域的热强迫的气候响应。结果表明,北极地区的气候不仅受到距离较近的北太平洋与北大西洋的影响,远离北极的热带太平洋以及南太平洋也对其气候有显著的影响,南极地区的气候则主要是受到邻近的南大洋的影响。通过经验正交函数法的进一步分析发现,北极响应最显著的区域包括波弗特海(Beaufort Sea)、拉普捷夫海(Laptev Sea)以及北极中心区附近;南极地区的响应主要集中在别林斯高晋海(Bellinsgauzen Sea)区域。另外,利用温度归因法对辐射反馈过程和大气能量输运分解发现,北极地区表面温度的响应主要是受到了反照率反馈以及垂直递减率反馈的影响,而南极地区的响应则主要是反照率反馈发挥了作用。
