Magnetostratigraphy of the Red Beds in the Hengyang Basin

Abstract This paper discusses the Cretaceous-Tertiary magnetic polarity sequence of the the Hengyang Basin on the basis of magnetostratigraphic study. The age of each stratigraphic unit has been determined with the magnetic polarity time scale combined with ³⁹Ar/⁴⁰Ar dating, thus providing evidence for determining the geological ages of different formations. The authors assign the age of the Dongjing Formation of the Hengyang Basin to Early Cretaceous, the Shenhuangshan Formation to Early-Late Cretaceous, the Daijiaping Formation to Late Cretaceous, and the Dongtang and Xialiushi formations to Palaeocene.     

长春台磁暴特征研究

依据长春地震台记录的磁暴资料,系统总结了第19、20、21三个太阳活动周磁暴特征,并对全球M_s≥7.8级地震的发生与太阳黑子活动、磁暴的关系进行了初步探讨。     

南丹铁陨石物态方程用于地核的研究

从南丹铁陨石的物态方程和地球的PREM模型出发,求得内外地核交界面处的物质密度为12.83-13.419/cm~3,温度为5440-5680K;地心处物质密度为13.12-13.73g/cm~3,温度为5660-5990K,推估内地核可能由铁镍合金组成.     

华北平原下垫面荒漠化和绿化对气候的影响

从大气热力学能量方程,水汽守恒方程以及降水与大气水汽含量和相对湿度的经验关系出发,本文假定大尺度环流不受地表下垫面变化的影响,不考虑大气辐射吸收与水汽和温度的反馈作用,对大气和地表能量过程作参数化处理,建立了一个反映区域年平均温度和降水的变化与地表反射率和波恩比变化之间的关系。计算分析表明,对于线性尺度为550km的华北平原来说,如果地表下垫面从目前状态变成沙漠的话,年平均温度将增加2.14°C,年降水量将减少536.1mm。如果华北平原全部绿化、年平均温度变化不大,年降水量可增加21.2mm。     

The new approach to global deep sounding

The new approach to global geomagnetic sounding is developed to overcome difficulties of spherical harmonical analysis and subsequent transfer function determination. The approach is based on minimizing the discrepancy between experimental and simulated magnetic fields. The discrepancy is considered as a function of the medium model parameters and the coefficients of external fields. The method can be used for laterally inhomogeneous as well as homogeneous earth models. An example of its application to a radially symmetric model is demonstrated.     

弹性椭球地球模型的海潮效应

本文推证了比较完整的弹性椭球地球模型的海潮负荷理论和计算公式,它对弹性球型地球模型海潮效应计算的发展起了一定的作用。     

甲基红褪色光度法测定地质样品中痕量锰

本文研究了MnO_4~-对甲基红的褪色作用,并借此分光光度法测定Mn。在1.0—2.0mol/L的H_2SO_4介质中,测定波长为515nm,Mn浓度在0—80μg/50ml范围同吸光度的减少值呈线性关系,灵敏度比MnO_4~-比色法高10倍。用于测定地质样品中的痕量Mn时,结果满意。
