滇西高黎贡带基性岩脉形成于40~42Ma,以高 FeO、TiO_2,低 K_2O 含量为特征。虽然多数样品经历了不同程度的地壳混染,少量样品的 Nb/La 大于1,La/Yb 比值较小和 Mg~#值较高,显示了似洋岛玄武岩(OIB)的地球化学特征,从而为研究区提供了软流圈上涌的岩石学证据。模拟计算进一步暗示高黎贡基性岩脉的源区在尖晶石相橄榄岩中(<70km),说明软流圈地幔上涌到很浅的部位,这与目前青藏高原巨厚的岩石圈(>150km)形成鲜明对比。因此,~40Ma 高黎贡基性岩浆活动记录了研究区陆-陆碰撞后特殊的构造演化阶段。高黎贡带基性岩脉与达孜-甲马基性次火山岩在形成时间和地球化学性质上一致,两者均代表了碰撞后消减特提斯洋片与印度板块断离过程中软流圈上涌熔融的产物。 相似文献

Observations of turbulence avoidance in zooplankton are compared to estimates of the wind-driven turbulence in the upper ocean. Plankton that avoid wind-driven turbulence by moving deeper are no longer transported by the wind-driven Ekman currents near the surface because they are no longer near the surface. Here, a threshold level of turbulence that triggers an avoidance response is estimated, and is used to infer the wind speed and water column stratification conditions that would lead to zooplankton leaving the Ekman layer. Turbulence avoidance is argued to lead to near-shore retention in wind-driven upwelling systems, and to a reduction of the delivery of zooplankton to Georges Bank from the deeper waters of the Gulf of Maine. 相似文献

A Kuroshio damping phenomenon of a few days scale caused by a strong wind was studied using the Princeton Ocean Model (POM) and a two-way nesting model for the POM. We simulated an idealized eastward Kuroshio in a zonal channel in terms of the inflow/outflow condition at the western/eastern boundaries and examined responses of the idealized Kuroshio to a strong easterly wind. This study was motivated by observations of JMA research vessel Shumpu Maru which reported deformation of isopycnals and damping of the Kuroshio before and after the attack of Typhoon 6804. Deformation of isopycnals and damping of the Kuroshio are found to depend on magnitude of wind stress, intensity of stratification, distance of the Kuroshio from coast, and grid resolution. The deformation of isopycnals is related to the vertical circulation pattern caused by the divergence/convergence of the onshore Ekman transport. A simple stratification model composed of Niiler (1969)'s modification of the Ekman transport and the coastal boundary is proposed to explain the damping phenomenon. An idealized cape was added in other experiments in order to study whether the Kuroshio damping mechanism discussed here works in three dimensions. The newly developed two-way nesting model for the POM was applied for this experiment and made it possible to clarify more detailed features of response in the nested area than did the coarse grid model. 相似文献

The natural diet of the epiphytic hydrozoan Obelia geniculata has been studied in an upwelling area in the Bay of Coliumo (Dichato, Chile) during two 24-h cycles. Number of prey per predator and predatory density have been measured. In both cycles more than 78% of the diet consisted of eggs of invertebrates and faecal pellets. Compared with other species of hydrozoans studied in a similar way, O. geniculata had a heterogeneous diet and a capture rate which was scarcely related to the peaks of abundance of its prey. This catch rate was between 632×103 and 10 393×103 prey m−2 day−1, which corresponds to a mean ingestion rate of 113% of the hydranth biomass per day. 对中德合作“太阳号”95航次的17954柱状样上部11.2m的沉积物样品进行了粒度与化学元素分析,获取了大约22万年来东亚季风在南海越南岸外上升流区演变的沉积与地球化学记录。结果显示,该站位沉积物颗粒较细,为典型的半深海型沉积,颗粒大小主要为2~8μm,几乎没有大于63μm的颗粒。不同粒径的沉积物含量及中值粒径大小呈现出明显的冰期一间冰期旋回:冰期时,中值粒径较大,介于8~63μm间的颗粒明显增多,指示了干而冷的冬季风加强;间冰期时,2~8μm的细颗粒为主要成分,反映冬季风减弱而夏季风加强。研究认为沉积物粒度的变化与冰期一间冰期旋回的海面变化有关。与生产力有关的Sr和Ba两个元素的含量总体在间冰期时增加,Ba/(Zr Rb)可以指示生产力变化,Sr/(Zr Rb)反映了碳酸盐含量变化。在间冰期Ba/(Zr Rb)值较高,显示了海洋生产力较高,指示了较强的夏季风。17954孔的Ba/(Zr Rb)呈现较强的2万年岁差周期变化,在氧同位素3期呈现最大值,指示了该时期夏季风特强。 相似文献

Zircon U–Pb ages, major and trace elements, and Sr, Nd and Hf isotope compositions of the Changboshan‐Xieniqishan (CX) intrusion from the Great Xing'an Range (GXAR), northeastern China, were studied to investigate its derivation, evolution and geodynamic significance. Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA‐ICP‐MS) zircon U–Pb dating yields an emplacement age of 161 ± 2 Ma for the CX intrusion. Bulk‐rock analyses show that this intrusion is characterized by high SiO2, Na2O and K2O, but low MgO, CaO and P2O5. They are enriched in large‐ion lithophile elements and light rare earth elements, with marked Eu anomalies (mostly from 0.36 to 0.65), and depleted in heavy rare earth elements and high field strength elements. Most samples have relatively low (87Sr/86Sr)i values (0.70423–0.70457), with εNd(t) fluctuating between −0.4 and 2.3. The εHf(t) for zircons varies from 5.4 to 8.7. Sr–Nd isotope modelling results, in combination with young Nd and Hf model ages (760–986 and 549–728 Ma, respectively) and the presence of relict zircons, indicate that the CX intrusion may originate from the partial melting of juvenile crust, with minor contamination of recycled crustal components, and then underwent extensive fractional crystallization of K‐feldspar, plagioclase, biotite, sphene, apatite, zircon and allanite. Considering the widespread presence of granitoids with coeval volcanic rocks, we contend that the CX intrusion formed in an extensional environment related to the upwelling of asthenospheric mantle induced by the subduction of the Palaeo‐Pacific plate, rather than a lithospheric delamination model.
