This study examines the hydrodynamic performance of a highly simplified eel-like structure consisting of three articulated segments with the two aft segments oscillating. A physical model was built and tested to determine the forces developed with the model stationary, to find the self-propulsion speed, and to explore the effect on hydrodynamic performance of different swimming patterns. It was found that hydrodynamic performance increases with increasing oscillation frequency; the highest forces when stationary, and the highest self-propulsion speeds were produced by swimming patterns in which the amplitude in the aft segment is larger than that in the forward segment, and in which the motion of the aft segment lags the forward segment.A simple semi-empirical model based on Morison’s equation was implemented to predict the hydrodynamic forces. This was shown to predict mean thrust well in cases in which the aft segment oscillates in phase with the forward segment, but less reliably when the phase difference between the segments increases. Force time histories are generally not well-predicted using this approach. Nonetheless, self-propulsion speeds are predicted within 30% in all cases examined.  相似文献

2010—2020年期间我国(不包括港澳台地区)开展了5次7组样品的海水盐度能力验证,共有119家实验室参与,历年来获得443个海水盐度检测数据。由于各组数据均明显偏离正态分布,因此迭代算法A比经典统计方法、中位值和标准化四分位距法更适合评定能力验证结果。2010—2020年“不满意”率由20.3%降至4.9%,参与能力验证次数越多的实验室和取得检验检测机构资质认定的实验室,“不满意”结果较少,说明能力验证是提高实验室检测技术能力的有效手段,资质认定质量管理体系对确保检测数据准确性的作用明显。  相似文献

本文首先简要介绍了空间点坐标非接触测量原理的基本概念和理论基础,并对可能的误差来源进行了分析,之后提出了一种基于该原理的建模思想,并对该模型进行了误差分析。以该模型为基础设计了相应的检测方案,并在某型位置检测装置的实验室标定,及其测量精度检测试验中进行了应用。在试验中通过对多组不同条件下的实测数据进行比对,证明了该测量模型的合理性和误差分析的正确性。最后,本文分析了该测量模型在其它类似条件下应用的可能。  相似文献

Partial rDNA sequences of Prorocentrum minimum and Takayama pulchella were amplified, cloned and sequenced, and these sequence data were deposited in the GenBank. Active mud volcanism is a global phenomenon that represents a natural hazard by self-igniting eruptions and the continuous emission of methane gas in both marine and continental settings. Mud domes are often found in compressional tectonic settings such as the Caucasus orogenic wedge. Dashgil mud volcano, the most prominent of >200 features in Azerbaijan, has erupted vigorously in historic times. For several years, we have observed variations in the activity of Dashgil dome, including transients in methane flux, build-up of extrusive mud cones on the main feature, and flexural polygonal cracks adjacent to the main crater lake and new mud cones. In spring 2007, we carried out in situ CPTU (Cone Penetration Testing with Pore Pressure measurement) experiments in the crestal area of Dashgil. Our data suggest that the central portion of the crater lake, which hosts the conduit for gas (and possible mud) ascent, shows both low sediment shear strength (<5–20 kPa) and excess pore fluid pressures between 15 and 30 kPa supra-hydrostatic at 1 m sub-bottom depth. In situ cone resistance as a measure for undrained shear strength is as low as 150 kPa in the conduit, whereas the mud is found rather stiff in all other testing locations (300–700 kPa, probably a result of deeply buried shales of the Maikop formation parts of which now liquefy and ascend). Pore pressure is low in the centre of the conduit, probably because of rapidly migrating gas. It increases to 30 kPa at the lake bottom and deep flank, then decreases upslope on the lake flank, and reaches hydrostatic values at the crater rim. From the overpressured region beneath the fluid-filled crest of Dashgil dome, combined with the other observations, we suspect to currently witness an ongoing period of updoming. The presence of sintered mudstones from explosive eruptions in 1908 and 1928 (and most likely before) suggests that a similar violent activity may occur in the near future.  相似文献

Hybrid model testing technique is widely used in verification of a deepwater floating structure and its mooring system,but the design of the truncated mooring systems which can reproduce both static and dynamic response same as the full-depth mooring system is still a big challenge,especially for the mooting systems with large truncation.A Cell-Tress Spar operated in 1500 m water depth is verified in a wave basin with 4 m water depth.A large truncation factor arises even though a small model scale 1:100 is adopted.Computer program modules for analyzing the static and frequency domain dynamic response of mooting line are combined with multi-objective genetic algorithm NSGA-II to optimize the truncared mooting system.Considering the asymmetry of layout of mooring hnes,two different truncated mooring systems are respectively designed for both directions in which the restoring forces of the.mooting system are quite,different.Not only the static characteristics of the mooting systems are calibrated,but also the dynamic responses of the single truncated mooting line are evaluated through time domain numerical simulation and model tests.The model test results of 100-year storm in the GOM are reconstructed and extrapolated to a full depth.It is found that the experimental and numerical resuits of Spar wave frequency motion agree well,and the dynamic responses of the full-depth mooring lines are better reproduced,but the low frequency surge motion is overestimated due to the smaller mooring-induced damping.It is a feasible method adopting different truncated mooring systems for different directions in which the restoring force characteristics are quite different and cannot be simulated by one truncated mooring system.Hybrid verification of a deepwater platform in wave basin with shallow water depth is still feasible if the truncated mooring systems are properly designed,and numerical extrapolation is necessary.  相似文献

提出了一种新的海底沉积物声学性质原位测量方法,介绍了新研制的海底沉积物声学性质原位测量系统。在青岛近海海域对该系统进行了海试,获得了各个站位的声速数据。将测得的各站位的声速与不同海域的沉积物声速进行对比分析,并对各个站位的声速与沉积物的平均粒径进行了相关性分析,发现与以往研究结果一致,沉积物声速与沉积物类型相关,不同类型的沉积物的声速有明显差异;声速与平均粒径相关性较好,粒径越大,声速越高。结果表明,利用海底沉积物声学性质原位测量系统测得的原位声速是正确的,它能快速准确地得到海底沉积物的声速值。  相似文献

The impact of the scyphomedusa Aurelia sp. on planktonic assemblages was experimentally studied in enclosures incubated in situ in the sea lake of Mljet Island (Big Lake, Southern Adriatic), where jellyfish are present throughout the year. In situ feeding experiments using plankton at natural densities indicated a reduction in abundance for small calanoid and cyclopoid copepods, copepodites, nauplii and ciliates in the presence of Aurelia sp. In addition to direct predatory pressure, Aurelia sp. exerted an indirect cascading effect on autotrophic and heterotrophic microbial plankton. Phytoplankton biomass increases of up to 0.5 μg C·l?1·h?1 were mainly related to 19′‐hexanoyloxyfucoxanthin‐ and 19′‐butanoyloxyfucoxanthin‐containing phytoplankton. Bacterial production was about twice as high in the presence of Aurelia sp. and biomass was also consistently higher. It appears that the top‐down effect of predation along with material release by Aurelia sp. results in increases in microbial biomass and production.  相似文献
