Optimal location search is frequently required in many urban applications for siting one or more facilities. However, the search may become very complex when it involves multiple sites, various constraints and multiple‐objectives. The exhaustive blind (brute‐force) search with high‐dimensional spatial data is infeasible in solving optimization problems because of a huge combinatorial solution space. Intelligent search algorithms can help to improve the performance of spatial search. This study will demonstrate that genetic algorithms can be used with Geographical Information systems (GIS) to effectively solve the spatial decision problems for optimally sitting n sites of a facility. Detailed population and transportation data from GIS are used to facilitate the calculation of fitness functions. Multiple planning objectives are also incorporated in the GA program. Experiments indicate that the proposed method has much better performance than simulated annealing and GIS neighborhood search methods. The GA method is very convenient in finding the solution with the highest utility value. 相似文献

Allocation for earthquake emergency shelters is a complicated geographic optimization problem because it involves multiple sites, strict constraints, and discrete feasible domain. Huge solution space makes the problem computationally intractable. Traditional brute-force methods can obtain exact optimal solutions. However, it is not sophisticated enough to solve the complex optimization problem with reasonable time especially in high-dimensional solution space. Artificial intelligent algorithms hold the promise of improving the effectiveness of location search. This article proposes a modified particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to deal with the allocation problem of earthquake emergency shelter. A new discrete PSO and the feasibility-based rule are incorporated according to the discrete solution space and strict constraints. In addition, for enhancing search capability, simulated annealing (SA) algorithm is employed to escape from local optima. The modified algorithm has been applied to the allocation of earthquake emergency shelters in the Zhuguang Block of Guangzhou City, China. The experiments have shown that the algorithm can identify the number and locations of emergency shelters. The modified PSO algorithm shows a better performance than other hybrid algorithms presented in the article, and is an effective approach for the allocation problem of earthquake emergency shelters. 相似文献

The well-known CO2 slicing technique which provides retrievals of cloud parameters (effective height and amount) is adapted in light of model validation using multispectral infrared sounders. The technique is applied to both real Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS) radiances and to corresponding radiances simulated from global 6 h and 12 h forecasts for the 31 days of July 2008. The forecast model is the one used operationally at the Canadian Meteorological Centre. Radiances are simulated from the Radiative Transfer for the Television and Infrared Observation Satellite (TIROS) Operational Vertical Sounder (RTTOV) model. When compared to model output of cloud parameters, simulated retrievals help us understand systematic biases linked to the retrieval technique. Systematic errors of interest, attributed to forecast cloud parameters, are then more clearly assessed from real retrievals. This is the central idea of this paper. The proposed definition of model cloud top, based on cloud transmittance, corresponds well to the height derived from the Cloud-Aerosol Lidar and Infrared Pathfinder Satellite Observation (CALIPSO) instrument. These lidar-derived cloud heights, in turn, confirm the nature of the biases produced by the CO2 slicing technique (e.g., a negative bias increasing with height to about 2 km (approximately 50 hPa) for the highest clouds at 16 km (approximately 100 hPa)). Results suggest that the model has a tendency to produce an excess of low-level clouds below 2 km, compensated for by a deficit from 3 to 6 km. No significant differences are found between 6 h and 12 h forecast monthly fields, an indication that the model has sufficiently spun-up after a few hours. Retrieved global monthly cloud parameter fields are compared to independently derived products available from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MODIS) and AIRS standard processing. Significant differences are noted, linked to the different retrieval approaches, input data and resolution. 小嵩草高寒草甸是青藏高原的主要植被类型,研究其返青期识别方法对于模拟及预测青藏高原植被物候变化具有重要意义。常用的植被返青期遥感识别方法主要是先对遥感植被指数原始时序数据进行拟合去噪声再求取返青期,各种方法对研究区域、研究经验、参数设置、函数初值设置等有很强的依赖性。为避免返青期识别方法在曲线拟合时对参数初值的依赖性和陷入局部最优解,本文引入了模拟退火算法对双高斯和双逻辑斯蒂函数进行参数优化,并分别对基于以上两种函数及多项式拟合的植被指数时序曲线进行对比,从而选出最佳拟合方法,最后采用最大斜率阈值法、动态阈值法和曲率法识别返青期。利用青藏高原小嵩草高寒草甸34个样本点的返青期地面观测数据及相应的8 km分辨率的NOAA归一化差值植被指数(NDVI)时序数据对以上各种组合的返青期遥感识别方案进行了测试,并选取了153个遥感实验点求取了近30年(1982年—2011年)青藏高原小嵩草高寒草甸的返青期,结果表明:采用双高斯函数拟合的NDVI曲线与原始NDVI时序数据最为接近,在此基础上采用最大斜率阈值法识别的小嵩草高寒草甸返青期及其变化趋势与地面物候观测结果最为一致;同时发现近30年青藏高原小嵩草高寒草甸的平均返青期主要集中在每年的第120—140天,并且呈逐年提前趋势,30年来提前了7天。 相似文献

新疆古尔班通古特沙漠地表具有发育完好的生物土壤结皮,本文以参与组成生物土壤结皮的优势藓类———齿肋赤藓(Syntrichia caninervis)为研究对象,在实验室内对其进行模拟降雨处理,降雨量分别为0mm(对照)、2mm、6mm、10mm和15mm,研究模拟降雨影响下齿肋赤藓植株含水量、光合色素含量及可溶性糖、游离脯氨酸、可溶性蛋白、抗氧化酶(SOD、CAT和POD)、丙二醛含量的变化,以探讨其对降雨的生理生化响应。结果表明:随降雨量的增加,齿肋赤藓植株含水量显著增加;随齿肋赤藓植株含水量的增加,其光合色素含量和可溶性蛋白含量显著增加;随降雨量增加,抗氧化酶(SOD、CAT和POD)活性和可溶性糖含量呈大致递减的趋势,游离脯氨酸和丙二醛含量呈先下降后上升的变化趋势。在干燥状态下齿肋赤藓通过提高体内保护酶(SOD、CAT和POD)活性,增加可溶性糖和游离脯氨酸含量来抵御外界干旱胁迫的环境;而降雨能够增加齿肋赤藓植株含水量,激活其光合生理活性,显著提高光合色素含量,但是降雨量过大又将加剧齿肋赤藓膜脂过氧化的程度。 相似文献

We present a novel approach for optimizing reservoir operation through fuzzy programming and a hybrid evolution algorithm, i.e. genetic algorithm (GA) with simulated annealing (SA). In the analysis, objectives and constraints of reservoir operation are transformed by fuzzy programming for searching the optimal degree of satisfaction. In the hybrid search procedure, the GA provides a global search and the SA algorithm provides local search. This approach was investigated to search the optimizing operation scheme of Shihmen Reservoir in Taiwan. Monthly inflow data for three years reflecting different hydrological conditions and a consecutive 10‐year period were used. Comparisons were made with the existing M‐5 reservoir operation rules. The results demonstrate that: (1) fuzzy programming could effectively formulate the reservoir operation scheme into degree of satisfaction α among the users and constraints; (2) the hybrid GA‐SA performed much better than the current M‐5 operating rules. Analysis also found the hybrid GA‐SA conducts parallel analyses that increase the probability of finding an optimal solution while reducing computation time for reservoir operation.
