由于蕴含着潜在的油气勘探和资源储藏信息,岩床复合体在全球范围内被广泛研究。本文基于南海北部三维地震资料以及南极罗斯海地区二维多道地震资料,对岩床复合体的形态特征及分布进行分析,对两个地区岩床复合体的形成时间进行判断,阐述岩床复合体的侵位机制。研究发现,岩床复合体代表性产状除了菱形、碟形及复合型外,还存在沿着层位平行侵入的板状,推测它可能是夭折了的岩床侵入体,以及由几个小型岩床堆叠而成的透镜状岩床复合体。分布上,南海北部岩床主要发育于珠江口盆地白云凹陷三维工区西部,东部只零星可见;南极西罗斯海岩床主要发育于西北角的阿黛尔盆地内。根据岩床上覆的强制褶皱结合区域构造背景,推测南海北部岩床复合体的形成时间为早中新世(15.5 Ma),海底扩张结束之时。残余岩浆将盆地内裂谷时期形成的断层作为岩浆运移的通道,并最终在断层终点处即下中新统近海相砂泥岩地层中实现侵位。南极西罗斯海岩床复合体的形成时间则非常晚,不早于5.5 Ma。该区这期岩浆活动可能与构造作用无关,而是受到冰川消融的影响。研究发现岩床复合体内部的岩床个体互相供给,即深部的大岩床为上覆浅层的小岩床提供岩浆供给,并且互相组合,形成大的岩床复合体。然而,每个岩床复合体则可能由不同的岩浆供给发育而成。  相似文献

运用电感耦合等离子质谱(ICP-MS)、X射线荧光光谱(XRF)、离子选择电极(ISE)、显微镜光度计和煤化学等方法,研究安徽淮北朔里煤矿5号煤层与侵入岩浆岩(岩床)接触面附近煤的光学性质和稀土元素分布特征。结果显示,与岩床直接接触的热变质煤在光学上显示天然焦的典型特征,除惰质组以外的显微组分大都变成了较粗大颗粒状镶嵌结构体,各向异性显著,小球体发育,微气孔很发育;与岩床间接接触(岩床之下)的热变质煤镶嵌结构体变细,各向异性变弱,微气孔不发育,未见小球体。研究还发现,从岩床下边缘至煤层底板泥岩表面的8个煤分层都显示铈(Ce)严重亏损的特征;在稀土元素标准化曲线上,Ce负异常"V"型谷非常显目,表明岩浆的高温将煤中原来的Ce3+氧化成Ce4+而与其它三价稀土元素(RE3+)发生了分离。数据显示,在朔里煤矿岩床接触变质煤中,稀土元素丰度与煤的灰分产率没有显著的相关性,表明岩浆熔体中的微量元素迁移到周围煤中并未造成灰分产率大量提高。  相似文献

Isolated outcrops of coarse‐ and medium‐grained, quartz‐feldspar porphyry occur for some 60 km from Nobles Nob to near Warrego in the Early Proterozoic Tennant Creek Block of the central Northern Territory. The outcrops appear to be part of an approximately conformable sheet of variable thickness (several tens to a few hundred metres), enclosed by sedimentary rocks of the Warramunga Group. The porphyry is characterized by euhedral, complete, evenly distributed crystals up to 2 cm across, in a microcrystalline groundmass. In some samples the groundmass shows relict perlitic cracks and was formerly coherent glass. In detail, upper and lower contacts of the porphyry sheet are highly irregular: porphyry contains wisps, blocks and large rafts of sandstone, and sandstone encloses single euhedral crystals and blebs, tongues and lobes of porphyry. Clasts of each rock type commonly have fluidal shapes. Sedimentary rocks at both the upper and the lower contacts are indurated and silicified. Close to the contacts, bedding is not easily identified, or else is disturbed. The quartz‐feldspar porphyry is interpreted to have cooled and solidified from phenocryst‐rich magma that intruded approximately parallel to bedding in the enclosing sedimentary sequence. The peperite margins of the sill suggest that the porphyritic magma invaded relatively weak, poorly consolidated, wet sediments rather than solid sedimentary rock. Rapid expansion and movement of heated pore fluid would have temporarily disrupted particle packing in the sediments at the contacts, and allowed intricate penetration of magma accompanied by quenching and fragmentation. In addition to relatively short‐term and local effects on the pore fluid chemical and physical properties, the intrusion was probably responsible for premature and permanent dewatering of the adjacent sediments. The sill together with its bordering zone of peperite and indurated sedimentary rocks may have constituted a significant physical barrier to any subsequent fluid transport in the enclosing sedimentary sequence.  相似文献

The incremental heating 40Ar/39Ar method has been used to date a kaersutite separate from the main theralite-picrite unit of the Lugar sill. Ar-release spectra show discordance mainly due to the presence of excess Ar in alteration phases intimately associated with the primary kaersutite. Plateaus in the spectra allow an emplacement age of 288 ± 6 Ma (2γ) to be assigned to the sill. The results are used to discuss the age relations of the alkaline Permo-Carboniferous sill complex of southwest Scotland. It is concluded that these sills could have been emplaced over a shorter period of time than implied by the available conventional K/Ar data. The classification of the alkaline sills into kylite and teschenite types has little petrogenetic significance.  相似文献

The Droimchogaidh sill, south-central Mayo, is sheeted at high-level in the Ordovician sedimentary pile of the South Mayo Trough. This association now lies raised on the eastern fringe of the Connemara-Murrisk Tertiary uplift. The sill is basin-shaped with a maximum thickness of about 100 m. It is composed of isotropic or weakly layered olivine gabbro, and subordinate, locally-developed picritic cumulates and syenitic differentiates. The chemistry of the gabbro reveals the effects of post-emplacement hydrothermal circulation, but the magma that supplied the sill was probably similar in composition to that of the analcime-olivine dolerite dikes further west. The 40Ar/30Ar dating gives an age of 55 ± 1 Ma for the sill, consistent with a younger set of ages from the Irish/British Tertiary province.  相似文献

Early in the crystallization of many tholeiitic basaltic magmas, plagioclase crystals cluster together into a 3-D cellular network, which forms a passive marker capable of recording the deformation that accompanies compaction of crystal mush. Although irregular in detail, the overall network is initially isotropic and only becomes anisotropic as a result of compaction. We have developed four independent methods to quantify the 3-D textural anisotropy of a basalt sample using at least three non-parallel thin sections. Three of the methods are based on the geometrical properties of digitized maps of the feldspar chain networks. One approach focuses on the angular variation of the mean intercept along parallel traverses through the network, another examines the orientation and size distribution of individual links, and the third considers the average shape of interstitial regions outlined by the plagioclase network. The fourth technique approximates the textural anisotropy by the variogram anisotropy of a scanned thin section image. We illustrate the methods using five oriented non-parallel thin sections from a sample of diabase 146 m above the base of the 300-m-thick Palisades sill of New Jersey. Compaction of crystal mush in this sill has previously been postulated on the basis of chemical evidence. The 3-D feldspar network anisotropy based on the first three approaches suggests nearly uniaxial compaction on the order of 8.6% in a direction within 3° of the intersection of the columnar joints at the sample site. A rigorous statistical test based on the statistics of elliptically contoured non-normal multivariate distributions documents that the link-vector distribution in vertical sections are statistically anisotropic at a 95% confidence level and that the overall compaction is 7.9±2.6%. The orientation and magnitude of the 3-D textural anisotropy determined by the image variogram of the non-opaque minerals is almost identical to the mean feldspar network anisotropy; 8.5% compaction in a direction 10° from the columnar joint intersections. The major silicate textural and feldspar network anisotropy axes both plunge almost directly down dip of the sill. On the other hand, the major axis of the variogram anisotropy of the opaque minerals is approximately parallel to the strike of the sill and to the major axis of the anisotropic magnetic susceptibility. The anisotropy of the silicate mineral fabric may reflect down-dip flow of a deformable melt-rich crystal mush, whereas the AMS and opaque textural anisotropy reflects the influence of gravitational stresses during the growth of magnetite in the final stages of melt crystallization. Evidently the Palisades sill was not originally horizontal but was intruded in an orientation close to its present attitude.  相似文献

General, parallel and rotational degradation and the effect of bed sills are investigated with the aid of historical field data and laboratory experiments. The case under consideration is a system of two tributaries and a main river in northeast Spain, characterized by its short length, steepness and ephemeral nature. The comparison of bed profiles since 1962 revealed an incision greater than 5·5 m. The main causes of degradation are thought to be channelization (width reduction) and urban growth. The equilibrium slopes with and without sills were obtained in 111 live‐bed flume tests. It is demonstrated that the bed slope is milder with sills than without sills under the same flow and sediment rates. The equations for the calculation of equilibrium slopes, scaled to prototype, are applied to the case‐study, with good agreement. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley and Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

将南海划分为30个3°×3°区域,利用MODIS 4km分辨率遥感数据,计算2003年4、7、10、12月每个区域表层叶绿素的半方差函数,分析南海表层叶绿素的空间变化特征。计算结果表明,各个区域块金方差都非常小,说明4km空间分辨率可以较为充分地揭示区域内表层叶绿素的空间变异特征。近岸区域叶绿素分布受地形及径流影响,各区域的变程与相对基台值存在明显差异。主要上升流区的变程与相对基台值在上升流形成期间显著增大,叶绿素相关范围明显扩大,单独分析吕宋岛西北部上升流区也可以得到一致的结论。海盆区域的气旋式涡旋内部的变程较大,表明叶绿素为较大尺度聚集型分布;反气旋则相反。分析表明,南海表层叶绿素存在复杂的空间变异格局,季风及其驱动的南海地区性上升流、中尺度涡旋等是造成海表叶绿素呈现这种格局的主要原因。  相似文献
