天山山区与塔克拉玛干沙漠云水资源的对比分析   总被引:4,自引:2,他引:4  
采用NASA地球观测系统(EOS)云与地球辐射能量系统(CERES)2002年7月至2004年6月CERES SSF AquaMOD IS Edition 1B云资料,对天山山区和塔克拉玛干沙漠云水资源进行了研究。得到的结果不仅包括云量、云液态水柱含量,还包括云滴尺度,为无人区的人工增水作业和天气气候研究提供了基础数据。与以往的卫星观测云气候全球数据集相比,该资料具有更高的空间分辨率,且其观测仪器和云反演方法得到了进一步改善,因此其结果较以往更可信。研究结果表明,两地区云参量年变化规律不尽相同,在数值上有很大差别。除了动力条件和气候背景以外,这可能与沙尘气溶胶可以影响云的物理特性和生命期有关。由年变化来看,天山山区的月平均总云量为47%~72%,而塔克拉玛干沙漠为12%~50%;天山山区低云的月平均液态水柱含量为56.6~96.0 g/cm2,高云为30.5~59.8 g/cm2。而塔克拉玛干沙漠低云的月平均液态水柱含量为19.4~43.9 g/cm2,高云为9.3~59.0 g/cm2;天山山区的月平均云滴半径低云为12.6~16.0μm,高云为8.6~14.8μm。而塔克拉玛干沙漠地区低云云滴半径8.8~...  相似文献

Studies of the particle size and sorting characteristics of sand on the stoss slope of a 6-m high reversing dune show that the sand in transport is generally finer and better sorted than surface sand at the same position on the slope. The sand in transport becomes coarser and more poorly sorted as wind speed and rates of mass transport increase toward the dune crest. These patterns reflect changes in the competence of the wind, which is capable of transporting larger grains and a wider range of grain sizes as its speed increases in space and time. Our field observations suggest that the particle size and sorting characteristics of surface sand are highly dependent on antecedent wind conditions and are not an invariant property of the dune, as is widely assumed. The wide range of particle sizes on the surface, as well as its change through time, also has important implications for modeling sediment transport on dunes. Transport thresholds may vary by as much as 30% on the stoss slope of the study dune.  相似文献

风沙流中沙粒旋转通常具有明显的三维旋转特性。本文通过数值建模考察了三维空间中不同沙粒旋转状态所产生的Magnus力对其跃移运动轨迹特征的影响。在三维坐标系中,X、Y、Z轴分别表示水平、垂直和横向方向,气流沿X方向流动,沙粒起跳时位于XY平面内。结果表明,跃移沙粒仅绕Z轴旋转起跳时,初始起跳角速度的增大会导致在XY平面内的跃移高度和跃移距离减小而降落角增大,但Z方向没有运动发生。跃移沙粒仅绕X轴或Y轴旋转起跳时,绕X轴或Y轴的初始起跳角速度的变化对在XY平面内的跃移轨迹特征量没有显著影响,但沙粒偏离XY平面的偏离距离和偏离角的绝对值随起跳角速度绝对值的增加而增大。因此,沙粒起跳旋转状态对其跃移轨迹有重要的影响。  相似文献

A detailed analysis of weathering-pit distribution on Georgia's Stone Mountain granite dome reveals a complex relationship between pit size and density, compared with slope aspect and angle. The uniform nature of the lithology provides an ideal natural laboratory for the analysis of weathering pits. Through the random establishment of 32 dome-encircling, ten-by-ten meter study plots within an elevational range from 610 to 650 meters, the distribution, size, aspect, slope and lithology of pit features were mapped, measured, and analyzed. Thematic maps were used in the visual representation of pit distribution and dimension data. Correlation coefficients, ANOVA, and multiple regression analyses were utilized to determine the relationships of these variables. Pits showed a dimensional and density increase toward a southwestern aspect as well as a dimensional and density increase with decreasing slope angle. Greatest pit dimensions were found at approximately the 200° N azimuth. These findings lead the authors to conclude that insolation weathering may be a more important process in granite pit formation on Stone Mountain than commonly believed because afternoon temperature maxima accelerate weathering through increased chemical constituent dissolution and/or crystal constituent disintegration. Recent accelerator data based parameterization of the inclusive cross section (cs) forπ0 production in hadronic collisions and an explicit incorporation of the finiteness of the relevant projectile hadron spectrum suggest a significant steepening in the spectrum (by as much as 0.4 in the spectral index) of the secondaryγ-ray towards the end of the spectrum. We emphasize here that this spectral steepening in conjunction with the possibility that in the bright X-ray binaries the maximum energy to which theγ-ray producing progenitor protons may be accelerated is only ∼ l0 PeV, may imply an effective efficiency forγ-ray production,ε, as reckoned by the PeV arrays, one or two orders smaller than the previous estimates. To explain the genesis of a given PeV photon flux from an X-ray binary, one, therefore, has to. accordingly consider a much higher value of the progenitor proton beam luminosity,L p . This requirement may raise further questions regarding the actual genesis of PeVγ-rays in X-ray binaries, or alternatively, on the veracity of the high values of the PeV photon fluxes reported by earlier experiments.  相似文献

The equations of motion of a rigid body about a fixed point in a central Newtonian field is reduced to the equation of plane motion under the action of potential and gyroscopic forces, using the isothermal coordinates on the inertia ellipsoid.The construction of periodic solutions near the equilibrium points, by using the Lipaunov theorem of holomorphic integral, is obtained and the necessary and sufficient conditions for the stability of the system are given.  相似文献

In this paper, a discrete particle method was evaluated and used in numerical simulations of low-velocity penetration in sand. Hemispherical, blunt, and ogival-nosed impactors were tested at striking velocities below 5 m/s. The tests were conducted in a dropped-object-rig where the resisting force from the sand was measured continuously during the experiments. This provided a basis for comparison for the simulations. The shapes of the force-penetration depth curves were different for the various impactors, but the ultimate penetration depths were similar in all tests that were done with the same impact velocity. Three-dimensional discrete particle simulations were generally capable of describing the behavior of the sand. However, the peak resisting force was underestimated, which led to a slight overestimation of the ultimate penetration depth. This discrete particle method has previously been evaluated at high impact velocities. The results presented in this study supplement past results and show that the method can also be used to describe the overall response of sand subjected to low-velocity penetration.  相似文献

Acid mine drainage (AMD) has been recognized as a major environmental pollution problem over past decades. This pollutant effluent is complex and is characterized by elevated concentrations of iron and sulfate, low pH, and high concentrations of a wide variety of metals depending on the host rock geology. Massive inadvertent discharges from acid mines have given rise to dramatic cases of ecological damage. These events indicate an improved understanding of the mechanism controlling metal transport to the river is important, since the aquatic ecology will be affected, to some degree, dependent on the phase (dissolved or particulate) in which the metal is transported. In this study, polluted water samples were collected along the Hengshi River near the Dabaoshan mine, Guangdong, China, in April 2005. The concentrations of dissolved Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb have been determined using ICP-MS and the chemical speciation of those metals in suspended particles was examined using BCR methods and SEM/EDX mineralogical analysis. Combining these two sets of data, the intention was to develop geochemical concepts, which explain the behavior of Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb in particle-water interactions of heavy metals in AMD. The results show that the dissolved heavy metals exhibited non-conservative behavior in the Hengshi River. The dissolved and particulate Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb have the similar spatial distribution, which decreased gradually along the river except in the lower reaches because of the absorption-desorption between dissolved and particulate phases. Although the metal concentrations in both phases were elevated, dissolved metals were dominant and had the maximum concentrations in the low pH region.  相似文献
