The Mw = 9.3 megathrust earthquake of December 26, 2004 off the northwest coast of Sumatra in the Indian Ocean generated a catastrophic
tsunami that was recorded by a large number of tide gauges throughout the World Ocean. Part 1 of our study of this event examines
tide gauge measurements from the Indian Ocean region, at sites located from a few hundred to several thousand kilometers from
the source area. Statistical characteristics of the tsunami waves, including wave height, duration, and arrival time, are

以位于沙漠黄土边界带的榆林、阿羌和米浪沟湾地层剖面为典型例证 ,讨论了 110 0kaBP以来中国沙漠沙尘暴的形成、发展和演化过程。提出在过去的 110 0ka中该区总共记录了 4 2个沙尘暴时期 ,并与 4 1个间沙尘暴时期构成比较连续且交替进行的一系列沉积演化历史。其中 ,最强烈的沙暴期发生时间大致在 6 2 0kaBP和 6 80kaBP前后 ,最温暖的间沙尘暴期出现在 5 90~ 5 0 0kaBP和15 0~ 70kaBP。研究认为 ,110 0kaBP以来因沙尘暴期与间沙尘暴期交替出现而形成的沉积旋回 ,是自那时以来在冰期、间冰期气候波动影响下冬夏古代季风相互对峙、交替演化形成气候旋回的结果 相似文献

A degree‐day‐based model is presented for a 1 year ahead runoff forecast, with 1 day time steps. The input information is a single snowpack evaluation collected at the beginning of the snowmelt season. The snow‐cover dynamics, the key information for long‐term snowmelt forecast, are described by the snow‐line dynamics, i.e. by the movements of the downhill snowpack limit. The snowmelt volume, estimated by the snow‐line dynamics, is the exogenous input of an autoregressive transformation model. The model is calibrated by a least‐squares procedure on the basis of observed daily runoff data and the corresponding measurements of the snowpack volume (one measurement per year). A real‐world case study on the Alto Tunuyan River basin (2380 km2, Argentinean Andes) is presented. The 1 year ahead Alto Tunuyan River runoff patterns, computed for both calibration and validation periods, reveal high agreement with observed streamflows. Cl-是自然界中最稳定的示踪剂, 包气带水Cl-浓度与降水中Cl-浓度的差异可以反映降水的有效入渗补给量和包气带水的年龄。基于CMB的氯累积年龄可以用36Cl/Cl在三个时间尺度上校正。利用CMB研究了巴丹吉林沙漠南缘的两个钻孔剖面的Cl-与含水量的分布状况, 计算了800a以来的地下水补给量及其所反映的气候波动特征。在该地区, 多年平均降雨量为89mm, 而平均补给量仅为1.3mm。干旱沙漠地区最近800a气候明显经历了4个干期和3个湿期。1500-1530年是干旱区气候突变的时期, 18世纪末至19世纪初是气候环境演化的又一个十分重要的时间界限, 自此以后的漫长时间, 干旱化进程进一步加剧。 相似文献

The analysis of sediment chemistry and biota in drill cores from Lake Khubsugul in Mongolia (KDP-01) and Lake Baikal in Siberia
(BDP-96/1), two great Eurasian freshwater lakes, detected prominent climate and biological events at 460–420 and 670 kyrs
BP in addition to the orbital cycles of precession, tilt and eccentricity. The revealed long-term events were associated with
notable changes in biodiversity and geography/landscapes, mainly in water budgets and weathering patterns. The span between
460–420 and 670 kyrs BP was the time when the climate and geographic conditions differed from those before and after these
events. The corresponding 33–24 m (670–460 kyr) interval of the Khubsugul core lacked the usual signature of the Milankovitch
glacial/interglacial cycles. Events of approximately these ages were found in some other continental ecosystems and in oceanic
δ13C records. The two events may mark the phases of a 300–500-kyr long supercycle (or megastadial) in the evolution of continental
ecosystems. Among other causes (e.g., regional tectonic events), this periodicity, being globally correlated, may be associated
with the 400-kyr cycle of the Earth’s orbital eccentricity. 相似文献

建立具有空间属性的历史时期土地覆被数据集有助于更好地模拟土地覆被变化的气候 与生态效应。根据我国历史时期土地开发利用的特点, 深入分析了影响我国历史时期土地开 发利用的主导因子, 量化了海拔高度、坡度、人口分布等自然及人文要素与耕地分布的关系, 并以此为依据设计了一套将我国传统农区历史耕地数据网格化的方法与算法模型, 计算各网 格(分辨率为60 km×60 km) 耕地面积占整个农区耕地总面积的比重、以及各网格的耕地面 积与垦殖率; 同时利用基于《嘉庆重修一统志》重建的中国传统农区历史耕地资料, 采用上 述方法与算法建立了研究区内1820 年(清嘉庆二十五年) 60 km×60 km 空间尺度的耕地数据 集, 并绘制了分布图。重建结果与册载府级田亩数据的比较分析表明: 该方法与算法可以有 效地将以行政区域为统计单元的中国历史耕地数据量化为具有统一且更高空间分辨率的网格 化数据集。 相似文献

This paper demonstrates the effectiveness of utilizing advanced ground motion intensity measures (IMs) to evaluate the seismic performance of a structure subject to near‐source ground motions. Ordinary records are, in addition, utilized to demonstrate the robustness of the advanced IM with respect to record selection and scaling. To perform nonlinear dynamic analyses (NDAs), ground motions need to be selected; as a result, choosing records that are not representative of the site hazard can alter the seismic performance of structures. The median collapse capacity (in terms of IM), for example, can be systematically dictated by including a few aggressive or benign pulse‐like records into the record set used for analyses. In this paper, the elastic‐based IM such as the pseudo‐spectral acceleration (Sa) or a vector of Sa and epsilon has been demonstrated to be deficient to assess the structural responses subject to pulse‐like motions. Using advanced IMs can be, however, more accurate in terms of probabilistic response prediction. Scaling earthquake records using advanced IMs (e.g. inelastic spectral displacement, Sdi, and IM 1I&2E; the latter is for the significant higher‐mode contribution structures) subject to ordinary and/or pulse‐like records is efficient, sufficient, and robust relative to record selection and scaling. As a result, detailed record selection is not necessary, and records with virtually any magnitude, distance, epsilon and pulse period can be selected for NDAs. 天山东部冰芯pH值和电导率的大气环境空间差异 总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1
冰芯电导率是大气环境变化的替代性指标.对我国天山东部三个研究点奎屯哈希勒根48号冰川、乌鲁木齐河源1号冰川以及哈密庙儿沟平顶冰川粒雪芯中pH值和电导率的近期环境记录进行了分析研究.结果显示,三个研究点粒雪芯反映的近期pH值和电导率变化趋势不同:奎屯电导率随冰芯深度增加表现出升高趋势,哈密庙尔沟平顶冰川和乌鲁木齐河源1号冰川随冰芯深度增加表现出一定下降趋势;冰芯电导率平均值在哈密庙儿沟冰川最大,而其他两个点相对较小,这与矿物粉尘浓度和离子浓度的分布一致;雪冰电导率与粉尘及离子相关性分析表明,电导率主要受中亚粉尘活动影响,同时与Ca2+、Mg2+、Na+等相关性很高.通过比较显示,天山东部与我国西部其他研究点以及极地雪冰电导率的差异可以很好地反映大气环境的空间差异. 相似文献
