岩庄陨石在太空中经受过极高能的冲击碰撞、陨石中橄榄石出现的冲击效应包括:面状裂隙、位错、镶嵌状结构、砾化结构、固态转变以及熔融重结晶等。其中首次找到了天然击变玻璃,并发现两种产状的林伍德石。研究证实岩庄陨石经受的冲击波峰压高达100GPa,温度峰值大于2000℃。  相似文献

对2个不同冲击变质程度球粒陨石研究表明,橄榄石晶内高压多形转变可在较低温度(<1000℃)和较大压力范围内(14.5~23GPa)产生。橄榄石晶内高压相转变主要是形成薄层状林伍德石,不发生直接的橄榄石-瓦士利石转变。由微晶集合体组成的薄层状林伍德石多沿着橄榄石中层错和面状裂隙分布并替代母相橄榄石。某些陨石中橄榄石产出薄层状瓦士利石和薄层状林伍德石组合,这些瓦士利石的形成与退变质作用有关,是压力释放过程林伍德石被瓦士利石替代的结果。研究结果对探讨岩石圈俯冲板块橄榄石多形转变环境和温度压力条件具有一定的参考意义。  相似文献

利用有限元方法,计算了不同俯冲速度及热传导系数俯冲岩石层的负浮力.在h-lt;400km和h-gt;740km的深度范围,低温高密俯冲带的负浮力随深度单调增加.因为尖晶石相到后尖晶石相的相变有负的克兰帕龙斜率,俯冲带冷的物质在660km间断面以下不到100km的深度范围内仍以低密度的低压物质相存在.所以在该深度范围,俯冲带受到了周围地幔阻止其插入下地幔的浮力作用.在400km-lt;h-lt;660km深度范围,由于受橄榄石相变的影响,不同计算模型负浮力随深度的变化有明显的不同.对于可能的相变动力学模型,亚稳态橄榄石的存在使负浮力随深度的增加值减小.其作用是不利于俯冲带直接穿透660km间断面,并引起该深度范围俯冲带沿俯冲方向压应力分布的变化.  相似文献

Mineral and melt inclusions in olivines from the most Mg-richmagma from the southern West Sulawesi Volcanic Province indicatethat two distinct melts contributed to its petrogenesis. Thecontribution that dominates the whole-rock composition comesfrom a liquid with high CaO (up to 16 wt %) and low Al2O3 contents(CaO/Al2O3 up to 1), in equilibrium with spinel, olivine (Fo85–91;CaO 0·35–0·5 wt %; NiO 0·2–0·30wt %) and clinopyroxene. The other component is richer in SiO2(>50 wt %) and Al2O3 (19–21 wt %), but contains significantlyless CaO (<4 wt %); it is in equilibrium with Cr-rich spinelwith a low TiO2 content, olivine with low CaO and high NiO content(Fo90–94; CaO 0·05–0·20 wt %; NiO0·35–0·5 wt %), and orthopyroxene. Boththe high- and low-CaO melts are potassium-rich (>3 wt % K2O).The high-CaO melt has a normalized trace element pattern thatis typical for subduction-related volcanic rocks, with negativeTa–Nb and Ti anomalies, positive K, Pb and Sr anomalies,and a relatively flat heavy rare earth element (HREE) pattern.The low-CaO melt shows Y and HREE depletion (Gdn/Ybn 41), butits trace element pattern resembles that of the whole-rock andhigh-CaO melt in other respects, suggesting only small distinctionsin source areas between the two components. We propose thatthe depth of melting and the dominance of H2O- or CO2-bearingfluids were the main controls on generating these contrastingmagmas in a syn-collisional environment. The composition ofthe low-CaO magma does not have any obvious rock equivalent,and it is possible that this type of magma does not easily reachthe Earth's surface without the assistance of a water-poor carriermagma. A possible structure for hydrous modified olivine (HyM-α) has been obtained by the subtraction of Mg3SiO5 from forsterite by crystallographic shear along a direction parallel to the [010] direction of olivine. The subtraction of Mg3SiO5 results in the subtraction of MgO from bulk chemistry (?Mg3SiO5=?Mg2SiO4?MgO). A possible structure for HyM-α thus obtained has the chemical formula Mg9Si5H2O20 (= 5 × Mg1.8SiH0.4O4) with monoclinic unit cell a=4.754 Å, b=10.19 Å, c=29.90 Å, ρ=3.126 g cm?3, and space group=Ac2m (no. 39). Since the X-ray powder diffraction pattern of HyM-α proposed in this study is very close to that of clinohumite, there is the possibility of this phase having been undiscovered. The humite group minerals and HyM-α proposed in this study make a homologous series as recombination structures: Mg(2 m + n )Si m H2 n O2(2 m + n ) for the humite group and Mg(2 m + n )Si( m + n )H2 n O4( m + n ) for HyM-α A characteristic feature is that Mg/Si > 2 for the humite group and Mg/Si < 2 for HyM-α. Forsterite specimens containing around 100 ppm H2O reported in mantle xenoliths might be the disordered case with n=1 and m=1200 of the humite group or HyM-α.  相似文献

We document the first occurrence of Fe‐rich olivine‐bearing migmatitic metapelite in the Khondalite Belt, North China Craton. Petrological analyses revealed two exotic assemblages of orthopyroxene+spinel+olivine and orthopyroxene+spinel+cordierite. Phase relation modelling suggests that these assemblages are diagnostic of ultra‐high temperature (UHT) metamorphism in the Fe‐rich system, with temperatures from 1,000 to 1,050°C at 0.6 GPa. U–Th–Pb SIMS analyses on zircon reveal a similar age of c. 1.92 Ga for the olivine‐bearing migmatite and an adjacent gabbronoritic intrusion that is therefore identified as the heat source for the UHT metamorphism. These results, coupled with additional analysis of the famous Tuguiwula sapphirine‐bearing granulite, lead to a re‐appraisal of the P–T path shape and heat source for the UHT metamorphism. We suggest that UHT metamorphism, dated between 1.92 and 1.88 Ga, across the whole Khondalite belt, proceeded from a clockwise P–T evolution with an initial near‐isobaric heating path at ~0.6–0.8 GPa, and a maximum temperature of 1,050°C followed by a cooling path with minor decompression to ~0.5 GPa. Considering our results and previous works, we propose that the orogenic crust underwent partial melting at temperature reaching 850°C and depth of ~20 to ~30 km during a period of c. 30 Ma, between 1.93 and 1.90 Ga. During this time span, the partially molten crust was continuously intruded by mafic magma pulses responsible for local greater heat supply and UHT metamorphism above 1,000°C. We propose that the UHT metamorphism in the Khondalite belt is not related to an extensional post‐collisional event, but is rather syn‐orogenic and associated with mafic magma supplies.  相似文献

Exsolution microstructures in olivine grains from dunite units in a few selected tectonic environments are reported here. They include lamellae of clinopyroxene and clinopyroxene-magnetite intergrowth in the Gaositai and Yellow Hill Alaskan-type complexes, clinopyroxene-magnetite intergrowth in the K?z?lda? ophiolite, and chromite lamellae in the Hongshishan mafic-ultramafic intrusive complex. These lamellae commonly occur as needle-or rod-like features and are oriented in olivine grains. The host olivine grains have Fo contents of 92.5–92.6 in the Gaositai complex, 86.5–90.1 in the Yellow Hill complex, 93.2–93.4 in the K?z?lda? ophiolite and 86.9–88.3 in the Hongshishan complex. Clinopyroxene in the rod-like intergrowth exsolved in olivine grains in the Gaositai and Yellow Hill is diopside with similar major element compositions of Ca O(23.6–24.3 wt%), SiO_2(52.2–54.0 wt%), Al_2O_3(0.67–2.15 wt%), Cr_2O_3(0.10–0.42 wt%) and Na_2O(0.14–0.26 wt%). It falls into the compositional field of hydrothermal clinopyroxene and its origin is thus probably related to reaction between dunite and fluids. The enrichment of the fluids in Ca~(2+), Fe~(3+), Cr~(3+) and Na+, resulted in elevated concentrations of these cations in olivine solid solutions via the reaction. With decreasing temperature, the olivine solid solutions altered to an intergrowth of magnetite and clinopyroxene. The Fe~(3+) and Cr~(3+) preferentially partitioned into magnetite, while Ca~(2+) and Na+ entered clinopyroxene. Since the studied Alaskan-type complexes and ophiolite formed in a subduction environment, the fluids were probably released from the subducted slab. In contrast, the exsolved chromite in olivine grains from the Hongshishan complex that formed in post-orogenic extension setting can be related to olivine equilibrated with Cr-bearing liquid. Similarly, these lamellae have all been observed in serpentine surrounding olivine grains, indicating genetic relations with serpentinization.  相似文献
