江苏东海榴辉岩向斜长角闪岩转化的研究   总被引:11,自引:1,他引:11  
东海榴辉岩曾被俯冲到上地幔,而后又折返回地表,经历了宽广的温度、压力、应力、流体条件等变化范围,形成了大量矿物反应结构,为研究岩石矿物反应提供了很好的素材。本文选取东海地区一个保留从初始榴辉岩到斜长角闪岩完整退变质序列的榴辉岩体作为研究对象,通过详细的显微结构观察、矿物成分分析、成分空间分析、成分迁移估算,揭示了东海榴辉岩向斜长角闪岩的转化过程。该过程可划分为两个阶段:早期为替代绿辉石的后成合晶形成阶段,通过绿辉石内部端元组分间的反应实现,反应产物之一的Fe^2 与金红石结合形成钛铁矿,Ca、Mg被排出到绿辉石体系之外。晚期退变为流体的渗滤交代作用,表现为石榴子石被角闪石部分取代、后成合晶的角闪石化,以及黝帘石、白云母的形成。退变质的最后阶段为石榴子石被绿帘石 角闪石 赤铁矿完全替代。榴辉岩转化成含帘石的斜长角闪岩。  相似文献

通过对暗色微粒包体的空间分布和形态特征以及包体矿物学、显微结构和岩石化学组成等方面的研究成果,在花岗岩“原地重熔”成因模型的基础上,建立了包体演化与熔渣演化的关系模型,证实包体的前身是捕虏体,后者代表从盖层落入岩浆中的岩块,包体则是岩块部分熔融后的残余物。不同类型、不同形态、不同基性度的包体,代表了岩石原地熔融过程中不同阶段的产物,富云包体反映了熔渣演化的最后阶段,在此基础上的进一步熔融即与寄主岩浆混成一体,完成了从岩石到岩浆的整个演化过程。  相似文献

对来自华南多个花岗岩体的暗色微粒包体样品进行了系统的矿物组成和微结构研究,发现包体中不管是造岩矿物还是副矿物,均存在新、老两个不同世代;包体的微结构大部分情况下也不是“火成结构”,而是以熔融结构为主,并且常多种结构共存,揭示包体是岩石部分熔融的残余物而并非来自岩浆的结晶。不同包体或同一包体从中心到边缘的矿物组成与微结构的差异,反映原岩部分熔融程度的不同,揭示其处于不同的演化阶段。  相似文献

Internal microtextures of ternary alkali feldspars in sanidine trachyte from Oki-Dogo Island were examined using an electron microprobe analyzer, a scanning electron microscope, a transmission electron microscope and cathodoluminescence instruments, to develop the understanding of volcanic processes of alkaline magmas related to feldspar crystallization. The examined trachyte is an evolved rock of the Oki-Dogo Pliocene trachyte group. Its phenocryst feldspars are commonly associated with lamellar-wavy-domain textures with scales approximately from 100 nm up to several hundreds of μm that show complex and gradual variations in composition: however, anti-rapakivi zoning textures common in other Oki-Dogo alkaline rocks are almost completely absent in the trachyte. These textures are produced by extensive magmatic ion-exchange replacement reactions progressively advanced in the evolved magma. Characteristic braided fluorite alignments are developed consistently with lamellar-wavy-domain textures in phenocryst feldspars, and similar braided alignments are also present in groundmass feldspars with complicated microtextures. Most of fluorite grains are <100 nm in diameter, and the patterns of braided fluorite alignments vary greatly in individual feldspars. The whole occurrence of the feldspar microtextures represents an extreme example of diffusion-controlled replacement reactions, progressively advanced in the dry (relatively anhydrous) trachyte magma. The genetic processes forming fluorite alignments in feldspars are related to magma compositions, especially F and P contents, and the crystallization of F-bearing minerals, especially of fluorapatite.  相似文献

The mineral assemblage and content and surface microtextures of slipping zone soil of several landslides in the Three Gorges Reservoir District have been analyzed using the scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD). All the mineral assemblages are similar in these landslides. The main minerals are montmorillonite, illite, kaolinite, chlorite, quartz and feldspar. There are two kinds of surface microtexture in the slipping zone soil, i.e., linear scratches and arcuate scratches. Based on analyses of the changes of the microtextures, one can obtain information about the number, directions and stages of landslide movements. The authors have also studied the mechanism of landslide formation, evaluated the stability of landslides and revival possibility of ancient landslides and forecasted the activity of similar landslides in different districts. Microtexture describes the type of particles and their arrangement in matrix samples at scanning electron microscopy scale. Although a microtexture classification exists for micritic limestone, it cannot be directly applied to chalk. This study therefore proposes a classification of chalk microtextures and discusses the origin of microtexture variability. Chalk was sampled at thirteen spatio‐temporal locations along the coastline of northern France (Cenomanian–Santonian). Four criteria are defined to describe, characterize and determine chalk matrix microtexture: (i) mineralogical content; (ii) biogenic fraction; (iii) micritic fraction; and (iv) cement fraction. From these criteria, two major groups are defined: Pure Chalk Microtexture Group, with seven classes, and Impure Chalk Microtexture Group, divided into two subgroups: Argillaceous Microtexture with four classes and Siliceous Microtexture with two classes. Microtexture variability is related both to initial sedimentation and to diagenesis. Sedimentological conditions (for example, climate and distance from shore) affect chalk composition (carbonate content and type of insoluble particles), thus influencing microtexture. Changes in Pure Chalk Microtexture are the result of increasing diagenetic intensity. This classification can also be used to characterize the microtexture of subsurface chalk reservoirs. Reservoir quality depends on the petrophysical and mechanical properties of reservoir rocks, which can be better understood by exploring their sedimentary and diagenetic history, revealed by the study of chalk microtexture variability.  相似文献

Particle size analysis and scanning electron microscopy have been used with some success to differentiate sediments sampled from varying geomorphological environments. In the paraglacial environment, however, discrimination of paraglacially reworked deposits from in situ glacigenic deposits has proven to be problematic. We consider till sediments that have been reworked by paraglacial debris flows and in situ, unreworked parent material, and apply a series of quantitative techniques in an attempt to discriminate samples from each environment. Initial analysis of particle size suggests some eluviation of fines from the debris‐flow‐reworked deposits but is of insufficient significance to allow reliable differentiation of geomorphological environment. Similarly, although slight differences are identified in terms of quartz grain surface microtextures and quartz grain outline shape, subsequent PCA, cluster and Fourier analyses fail to reliably differentiate quartz grains from each geomorphological environment, owing to high levels of intra‐sample heterogeneity. This lack of apparent difference may arise from a lack of paraglacial process operation of significant magnitude or duration for a characteristic process imprint to emerge at this scale of observation. Accordingly, further assessment of particle‐size and microtextural characteristics of glacial and paraglacial sediments may be most fruitful where sediments have been reworked over long distances. Moreover, differentiating glacial from paraglacial deposits is likely to yield the most reliable results where rigorous statistical analyses are combined with a wide range of sedimentological and geomorphological techniques.
