Carbonate‐replacement polymetallic mineralization at the Huanzala deposits (9°51′S, 77°00′W) was conducted in two contrasting stages that occurred in almost the same location. Early‐stage mineralization has a relation with a granodiorite porphyry stock, whereas the late‐stage mineralization is genetically associated with quartz porphyry sills. The early stage involved low to intermediate sulfidation Cu–Zn–(Pb) mineralization associated with metasomatic skarn, and the late stage involved high to intermediate sulfidation Cu–Zn–Pb–(Mn) mineralization associated with hydrothermal alteration characterized by paragonitic sericitization. The orebodies are hosted by steeply dipping (approximately 60°NE) Lower Cretaceous carbonate rocks in a relatively narrow range of approximately 4 km in horizontal extent and less than 1 km in depth. The pathway of the early‐stage brine‐derived fluids (300–>400°C, >33 wt% NaCl equivalent) along a plot of log against 1000/T is best explained by the progressive dual decline of the value and the temperature under rock‐buffering conditions; this decline saw the pathway progress through the stability field of pyrrhotite to reach that of pyrite and promoted a decrease in FeS from 14.5 to 1.6 mol% in the sphalerite. In contrast, an explanation for the pathway of the late‐stage fluids (140–290°C, 3–13 wt% NaCl equivalent) is given by an almost isothermal decline at approximately 270°C, with passing through the stability field of pyrite–bornite to reach that of chalcopyrite, promoting an increase in FeS from 0.1 to 1.6 mol% in the sphalerite, suggesting gas‐buffering conditions. The ore formation pressure records in the fluid inclusions illustrate an approximately 2‐km erosion during the roughly 2‐Myr total lifetime of the hydrothermal system. 相似文献

Concentration of elements or element groups in a geological body is the result of multiple stages of rockforming and ore-forming geological processes.An ore-forming element group can be identified by PCA(principal component analysis)and be separated into two components using BEMD(bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition):(1)a high background component which represents the ore-forming background developed in rocks through various geological processes favorable for mineralization(i.e.magmatism,sedimentation and/or metamorphism);(2)the anomaly component which reflects the oreforming anomaly that is overprinted on the high background component developed during mineralization.Anomaly components are used to identify ore-finding targets more effectively than ore-forming element groups.Three steps of data analytical procedures are described in this paper; firstly,the application of PCA to establish the ore-forming element group;secondly,using BEMD on the o re-forming element group to identify the anomaly components created by different types of mineralization processes; and finally,identifying ore-finding targets based on the anomaly components.This method is applied to the Tengchong tin-polymetallic belt to delineate ore-finding targets,where four targets for Sn(W)and three targets for Pb-Zn-Ag-Fe polymetallic mineralization are identified and defined as new areas for further prospecting.It is shown that BEMD combined with PCA can be applied not only in extracting the anomaly component for delineating the ore-finding target,but also in extracting the residual component for identifying its high background zone favorable for mineralization from its oreforming element group. 相似文献

The study area is located near the town of Filippoi, north of the city of Kavala in northern Greece, known from ancient times for its rich gold mines, situated inside hydrothermal alteration zones (Fe–Mn oxide minerals). A Very High-Resolution (0.5 m pixel size) image of Worldview-2 satellite was digitally enhanced, yielding target areas of potential ore existence and lineaments. Ground-truth that followed digital image processing, revealed abandoned ancient mines, slags and ore occurrences. In this paper some new advances in the study of fluid inclusions of the Yinshan deposit in Jiangxi Province,China,are presented.The fluid inclusions of the deposit can be divided into four types:1) gas-rich inclusions;2)liquid-rich inclusions;3)salt-saturated H2O inclusions;and 4)single-phase or multiphase CO2-rich inclusions.Homogenization temperatures of the fluid inclusions range from 100 to 520℃,aminly in the range 120-400℃.The daughter crystal-bearing multiphase inclusions present in quartz porphyries(including Nos.13 and 4 dikes)have been observed.In ore veins,some daughter crystal-bearing multiphase inclusions have been observed.too.On the basis of the results of fluid inclusion research,the authors suggest that the ore-forming fluid must have a close genetic relation to magmatic hydrothermal solution.The ore-forming fluid was dominantly originated from the depth and the mixing of magmatic solution with meteoric water was enhanced during ascending of the fluid,accompanying immiscibility and boiling of fluid.Teher may be a conceales igneous body at the depth of the Yinshan deposity,which furnishes the scientific basis for metallogenic prognosis at th depth of the Yinshan deposit. 相似文献

Abstract: The Shin-Ohtoyo Cu–Au deposit is located in the Harukayama district, 20 km west of Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Both acid-type disseminated and adularia–quartz–type vein Au mineralizations have been recognized within a small distance of less than 500 m in the district. Mineralogical characteristics of sulfide ores from the Shin-Ohtoyo deposit have been proved to be polymetallic. Ore minerals containing Sn, V, Bi and Te are recognized. Nine ore types are recognized in terms of characteristic mineral assemblage; (1) chalcedonic quartz veinlets in silicified zone around the deposit, (2) bismuthinite, emplectite, friedrichite and tetrahedrite, (3) an unnamed Cu–Sn–Fe–Zn sulfide, colusite-series minerals, stannoidite, emplectite and tetrahedrite, (4) bournonite, Se-bearing galena and tetrahedrite, (5) luzonite/famatinite and Ag-bearing tetrahedrite, (6) colusite-series minerals, emplectite, aikinite and tetrahedrite/goldfieldite, (7) luzonite/famatinite, colusite-series minerals, mawsonite and tetra–hedrite/goldfieldite, (8) enargite, luzonite/famatinite and tetrahedrite, and (9) colusite-series minerals and tetrahedrite. The first occurrence of friedrichite and stibiocolusite from Japan are reported. The chemical formula of the unnamed phase corresponds to Cu6(Cu, Fe, Zn)Sn3S10. Sulfur isotopic ratios (δ34S) of sulfides from the stockpile range from –0. 5% to +1. 9%, and those from drill cores recovered by Metal Mining Agency of Japan (MMAJ) vary from –2. 7% to +0. 8%. Sulfur isotopic ratio of barite in a cavity in the silicified tuff breccia collected from the stock pile yields +27. 1%, while that of barite collected from MMAJ core is +21. 7%. Sulfur isotopic thermometry applied for a pair of barite (+21. 7%) and associated pyrite (+1. 8%) indicates about 300°C. High–Te tetrahedrite composition from both the chalcedonic quartz vein in the silicified zone around the Shin-Ohtoyo deposit and the polymetallic sulfide ores from the adit of the deposit, suggests that the Au mineralization in the former is attributed to a hydrothermal system marginal to the polymetallic mineralization. 相似文献

陕西镇坪地区唐家垭子钼钒多金属矿床是近年来新发现的钼钒矿床,含矿地层及矿化带延伸情况显示其具有达到大型规模的潜力。矿体产于寒武系下统鲁家坪组黑色岩系,与地层展布方向一致,受黑色岩系控制;矿石类型有含炭板岩型、粉砂质板岩型及含炭硅质岩型3种;矿石含钼矿物主要有铁钼华、钼华、胶硫钼矿等,钒主要存在于钒云母中,其次为高岭土、电气石等;矿石化学成分以Mo、V2O5为主,主成矿元素为Mo、V,伴生金属元素有Ag等。矿床地球化学综合分析认为,寒武系下统鲁家坪组为(较封闭的)浅海盆地相;含矿地层鲁家坪组的Mo、Cu、Ni、Pb含量分析表明,沉积的深度可能大于250m;w(Ni)/w(Ti)、w(Cu)/w(Ti)值表明,沉积的离岸距离为100~300km;w(V)/w(Ni)、w(V)/(w(V)+w(Ni))值反映成矿期处于缺氧—强缺氧的还原沉积环境;矿床地质地球化学分析表明,该矿床为明显的深海冷水沉积型矿床。 相似文献
