Rare mafic dykes, which intrude 1000 Ma high‐grade metamorphic rocks of the northern Prince Charles Mountains‐Mawson Coast area, are compositionally distinct from abundant early to middle Proterozoic tholeiite dykes, which are confined to Archaean or early Proterozoic terrains in the southern Prince Charles Mountains and elsewhere in East Antarctica, and which have therefore proved useful as stratigraphic markers. The younger dykes (and extrusive rocks) are a composition‐ally heterogeneous group with a wide range of ages (at least Cambrian to Eocene), although most are of K‐rich alkaline composition or have alkaline affinites. Their strong enrichment in highly incompatible elements (Rb, Ba, Th, Nb, K, Pb, Th and U) relative to less incompatible elements (La, Ce and P) suggests derivation by partial melting of more enriched mantle source regions than those of most of the Proterozoic tholeiite suites. However, unlike the latter, many incompatible element ratios have been significantly affected by fractional crystallisation and possibly also by the presence of residual minor phases during low degrees of melting.  相似文献

基性岩脉是大陆伸展背景下,主要来自陆下软流圈或地幔岩石圈的岩浆侵入岩体.大量研究成果表明基性岩脉发育与金矿脉在空间展布、构造格局和形成时间具有紧密依存关系,虽然对基性岩脉是否为金矿脉提供金源尚无统一定论,但是根据基性岩脉与金矿化紧密的时空关系,基性岩脉可以作为找金矿的良好标志.  相似文献

勉县-略阳地区是勉略蛇绿构造混杂岩带的代表区段,本文在勉县北部徐家坪地区确定了主要矿物为Grt+Cpx+Pl和具有典型"白眼圈"反应结构的两类高压基性麻粒岩,分别对其进行细致的岩相学研究,并利用THERMOCALC3.33程序进行P-T视剖面图计算。一类高压基性麻粒岩的峰期矿物组合为Grt1+Cpx+Pl1+Qz,对应温压条件为T=800~860℃,P=12.4~14.6kbar,晚期退变质矿物组合为Grt2+Hbl+Pl2+Qz。另一类是具有典型"白眼圈"反应结构的高压基性麻粒岩,"白眼圈"结构中斜长石为富Na的钠-更长石,以此推断该高压基性麻粒岩早期矿物组合中含绿辉石,因此其变质峰期矿物组合可能为Grt1+Omp(?)+Qz或Grt1+Cpx(?)+Pl+Qz,对应温压条件分别为T=775~900℃,P>19.2kbar和T=750~850℃,P=16.5~19.8kbar;该岩石后期经历了以矿物组合Grt2+Opx+Hbl1+Pl1+Qz为代表的麻粒岩相及以Grt3+Hbl2+Pl2+Qz为代表的角闪岩相两期退变质作用。造成这两种高压基性麻粒岩峰期变质矿物组合及其温压条件存在差异的原因可能是岩石原始成分的不同。对高压基性麻粒岩及其中的浅色脉体分别进行了LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年代学分析,得到高压基性麻粒岩214±11Ma的变质年龄及脉体215±5Ma的结晶时代,并结合锆石微量元素特征分析,认为214±11Ma的年龄值代表该高压基性麻粒岩角闪岩相的退变质时代,同时获得该高压基性麻粒岩原岩形成时代可能为477Ma。综合两件高压基性麻粒岩的P-T演化轨迹及变质时代,建立高压基性麻粒岩的P-T-t演化轨迹,据此反映秦岭造山带在印支期沿勉略构造带发生俯冲-碰撞造山过程。  相似文献

Sea dikes are of crucial importance for the defense systems of low-lying coastal areas in countries such as Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, etc. As sea dike breaching induced by storm surges is regarded as one of the main causes of coastal flood disasters, reliable predictions of both the breach initiation, formation and breach development is urgently needed. Although a simple preliminary model for the simulation of sea dike breaching initiated from the seaside was developed (Stanczak et al., 2006), its limitations showed the necessity for further research and for the development of a more detailed model. This paper therefore provides a summary of the results of laboratory experiments on the erosion of grass and clay revetment of a sea dike induced by breaking wave impact and describes the new detailed computational model, including an uncertainty analysis.  相似文献

华北克拉通北缘赤峰地区显生宙麻粒岩的发现及其意义   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
华北克拉通构造体制从稳定向活动的转折是值得关注的问题。文中结合华北克拉通北缘赤峰和宁城晚古生代和早中生代两期麻粒岩捕虏体及其寄主闪长岩的研究,讨论其形成的不同构造背景,从而探讨体制转折的起始时期。赤峰柴胡栏子二叠纪镁铁质麻粒岩及其寄主闪长岩的锆石SHRIMP U-Pb年龄分别为(262.3±3.1) Ma和(256.6±6.5) Ma,宁城河南营子三叠纪镁铁质麻粒岩及其寄主闪长岩的锆石SHRIMP U-Pb年龄分别为(229.7±2.6) Ma和(221±3) Ma。在上述两个地区还发现晚古生代二叠纪的闪长岩脉等。通过对比研究认为:二叠纪岩浆活动具有大陆裂谷初始阶段的特点,高场强元素含量比较低;而三叠纪高场强元素的增高显示地幔部分熔融程度的提高。二叠纪岩浆活动与此时全球构造演化及邻兴蒙造山带出现的双峰式火山活动密切相关。而晚三叠世岩浆活动则与底侵背景下陆内伸展作用有关,是构造体制转折的标志。  相似文献

Evidence of ancient liquefaction-in duced features is presented in the area of the 2003 Zemmouri earthquake (M w 6.8). This earthquake was related to an offshore unknown 50-km long fault. A 0.55-m coseismic coastal uplift was generated and extensive liquefaction has been induced in the most susceptible area which correspond to the seaside and along the hydrographic network, mainly the Sebaou and Isser valley rivers. Field investigations allowed us to identify past liquefaction traces in the Quaternary deposits. The observed features are represented by sand dikes, sills, and sand vents as well as well-preserved sand boiled volcanoes. In this work, we also describe the alluvial environment, the hosted localized stratigraphic layer, the morphology and the geometry of the observed features, as well as the observed deformation (settlement) of the hosted layers that are among characteristics of the seismically induced features as described in worldwide examples. Our observations represent a step towards paleoseismological studies in the region knowing that the May 21st 2003 Zemmouri earthquake is produced by an offshore fault where a direct study of the seismogenic fault is inaccessible.  相似文献

胶东北部碱性超基性脉岩地球化学特征及环境和成因探讨   总被引:6,自引:1,他引:5  
胶东地区脉岩属碱性超基性岩系(Na2O+K2O=4.67%~5.43%;SiO2=36.70%~39.99%),岩性为单一的橄榄辉石岩。从主量元素(包括CIPW标准矿物组成)和过渡元素组成来看,该岩系近似原始岩浆组成。电子探针结果显示:橄榄石为富镁质橄榄石(贵橄榄石)(Fo=71~90),单斜辉石为透辉石(次透辉石为主)。岩石富集大离子亲石元素(K、Rb、Sr、Th和Ba),但不具有高场强元素(Nb、Ta、Zr和Hf)的亏损,表明岩石形成于大陆板内环境,为地幔橄榄岩低度部分熔融(3.4%)的产物。同时,它具有大陆边缘弧的特性,暗示其为一种滞后型弧岩浆作用的产物。稀土元素特征显示,岩石强烈富集LREE,而相对亏损HREE,暗示了源区的富集特性。Eu/Eu*=0.89~1.00,总体不表现明显的负Eu异常,暗示斜长石不是主要的分馏矿物相。结合板内碱性岩石的矿物结晶顺序认为,本区岩浆分馏以较弱的橄榄石分馏为主。  相似文献

The Luxi-Xianrenzhang diabase dikes were emplaced into the eastern part of the Guidong composite granitoids in northern Guangdong Province at the end of the Early Cretaceous. They show tholeiitic features, enrichment in large ion lithophile elements, slight enrichment in light rare earth elements, depletion in Zr and Hf, and basically no depletion in Nb and Ta and no Eu anomaly. They are similar to intraplate basalt in terms of trace element characteristics. They have high εNd(t) values (3.6-4.9), initial ^87Sr/^86Sr ratios (0.70530-70641) and δ^18O values and Dupal anomaly of Pb isotope compositions. Their Sr-Nd, Pb-Sr, Pb-Nd and Pb-Pb isotopes plot between DMM and EMII, with Pb similar to EMII, Nd relatively close to DMM and Sr in between. This profile suggests that the diabase dikes studied were derived from partial melting of a mantle source that had been subjected to metasomatism by fluids originated from a subduction zone under a tectonic environment of crustal extension and lithosphere thinning in the late Yanshanian.  相似文献

Abstract: In the present study, the major and trace element compositions, as well as Sr, Nd isotopic compositions and K-Ar age data in mafic dikes from Hainan Island, China, have been analyzed. Whole-rock K-Ar dating yielded a magmatic duration of 61–98 Ma for mafic dikes. Mafic dikes have a very high concentration of incompatible elements, for example, Ba, Rb, Sr, K, rare earth elements, and especially light rare earth elements (LREE), and negative anomalies of Nb, Ta, and Ti in the normalized trace element patterns. The initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios and εSr(t) of the mafic dikes are 0.70634–0.71193 and +27.7 to +112.2, respectively. In the 87Sr/86Sr versus εNd(t) diagram, the Hainan Island mafic dikes plot between fields for depleted mantle and enriched mantle type 2. All these characteristics show that the mantle (source region) of mafic dikes in this area experienced metasomatism by fluids relatively enriched in LREE and large ion lithophile elements. The genesis of Hainan Island mafic dikes is explained as a result of the mixing of asthenospheric mantle with lithospheric mantle that experienced metasomatism by the subduction of the Pacific Plate. This is different from the Hainan Island Cenozoic basalts mainly derived from depleted asthenospheric mantle, and possibly, minor metasomatised lithospheric mantle. This study suggests that the Mesozoic and Cenozoic lithospheric revolutions in Hainan Island can be divided into three stages: (1) the compression orogenesis stage before 98 Ma. The dominant factor during this stage is the subduction of the ancient Pacific Plate beneath this area. The lithospheric mantle changed into enriched mantle type 2 by metasomatism; (2) the thinning and extension stage during 61–98 Ma. The dominant factor during this stage is that the asthenospheric mantle invaded and corroded the lithospheric mantle; and (3) the large-scale thinning and extension stage after 61 Ma. The large-scale asthenospheric upwelling results in the strong erupting of Cenozoic basalts, large-scale thinning of the lithosphere, the southward translating and counterclockwise rotating of Hainan Island, and the opening of the South China Sea.  相似文献
