Apart from some special cases, calculating the dynamic stiffness matrix of foundations on a layered half-space, especially for embedded foundations, is computationally expensive. An efficient method for two-dimensional foundations in a horizontally layered soil media is presented in this paper. This method is based on indirect boundary element methods and uses discrete wave number solution methods for calculating Green's functions for displacements and analytical methods for the integrations over the boundary. For surface foundations, the present method applies at all frequencies. For embedded foundations or for constructing energy transmitting boundaries, because the free-field part is modelled by boundary elements and the excavated part is modelled by finite elements, the present method applies only at low frequencies for the spring coefficients (the real parts of the dynamic stiffness matrix) but applies at all frequencies for the damping coefficients (the imaginary part of the dynamic stiffness matrix) for undamped sites. The novelty of the method can be used for three-dimensional foundations. © 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The foundation on deformable soil, which, in general, radiates energy, can be represented in structural dynamics as a simple spring-dashpot-mass model with frequency-independent coefficients. For the two limiting cases of a site, the homogeneous half-space and the homogeneous layer fixed at its base, the coefficients are specified in tables for varying parameters such as ratios of dimensions and Poisson's ratio. Rigid foundations on the surface and with embedment are considered for all translational and rotational motions. In a practical analysis of soil–structure interaction this dynamic model of the foundation is coupled directly to that of the structure, whereby a standard dynamics program is used. © 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper deals with the construction of seismic response interaction diagrams that show the correlation of multiple responses and are important to determine the critical combination of modal responses. Many design problems, such as column design under combined axial force and bending moments, fall into this category. We address general modal and multicomponent combination rules and study their effect on the shape of the response interaction diagrams, thus extending previous work done for quadratic combination rules. Special attention is given to multilinear combination rules which lead to polyhedral shapes. Having developed efficient methods to deal with polyhedral shapes, we explore the idea of adopting a multilinear modal combination rule to compose with a multicomponent percentage rule.  相似文献

To investigate the seismic response of a pile group during liquefaction, shaking table tests on a 1/25 scale model of a 2 × 2 pile group were conducted, which were pilot tests of a test project of a scale-model offshore wind turbine with jacket foundation. A large laminar shear box was utilized as the soil container to prepare a liquefiable sandy ground specimen. The pile group model comprising four slender aluminum piles with their pile heads connected by a rigid frame was designed with similitude considerations focusing on soil–pile interaction. The input motions were 2-Hz sinusoids with various acceleration amplitudes. The excess pore water pressure generation indicated that the upper half of the ground specimen reached initial liquefaction under the 50-gal-amplitude excitation, whereas in the 75-gal-amplitude test, almost entire ground was liquefied. Accelerations in soil, on the movable frames composing the laminar boundary of the shear box, and along the pile showed limited difference at the same elevation before liquefaction. After liquefaction, the soil and the movable-frame accelerations that represented the ground response considerably reduced, whereas both the movable frames and the piles exhibited high-frequency jitters other than 2-Hz sinusoid, and meantime, remarkable phase difference between the responses of the pile group and the ground was observed, all probably due to the substantial degradation of liquefied soil. Axial strains along the pile implied its double-curvature bending behavior, and the accordingly calculated moment declined significantly after liquefaction. These observations demonstrated the interaction between soil and piles during liquefaction.  相似文献

Studies on recent earthquakes highlighted that buildings with minimal structural damage still suffer from extensive damage and failure of nonstructural components. The dropping and damage of suspended ceiling systems, which typically consist of acceleration-sensitive nonstructural elements, resulted in lengthy functional disruptions and extended recovery time. This article experimentally and analytically examined the vibration properties of an integrated ceiling system considering the interactions with surrounding electrical equipment. The theoretical stiffness and corresponding frequency of electrical equipment were initially derived and then verified by subsequent vibration tests and numerical analyses. The seismic performance of the air conditioner (AC) was evaluated with different installment configurations based on design spectra and floor response spectra. Vibration tests of the suspended integrated ceiling system considering the interactions with surrounding equipment showed that the inclusion of peripheral constraints increased the first horizontal vibration frequency of the ceiling system by a factor of approximately 6. The natural frequencies of all components in the integrated ceiling system were almost identical, which was attributed to the coupled behavior between the ceiling panels and surrounding equipment, emphasizing the effect of interactions between adjacent components during dynamic analysis. Based on the above experimental investigation, an associated numerical model of the integrated ceiling system was created. Finally, corresponding parametric studies that included the interactions with surrounding equipment, reinforcing braces of ACs and strengthening members at the rise-up location between two elevations were performed.  相似文献

针对简单框架式地铁车站结构的抗震特性研究已取得一定成果,但对于结构形式较复杂或多个地下结构间相互作用等问题仍需进一步探究。本文利用现有地震分析方法中的动力时程分析法对两个地下结构间相互作用的影响进行系统对比分析,其中主体结构为三层三跨车站、附属结构为两层三跨车站。主要探讨附属结构与主体结构间距离的变化、两结构间连接形式对场地土以及主体结构地震响应特性的影响,分析比较场地土变形、主体结构变形、层间位移角以及内力在不同工况下的地震响应特性。结果表明:相邻地下结构与土相互作用形式较独立结构与土相互作用形式对场地土影响更加明显;当附属结构与主体结构间距离超过两倍结构宽度,附属结构对主体结构周围场地变形影响效应可基本忽略;同样当附属结构与主体结构间距离超过两倍的结构宽度,附属结构对主体结构的变形、内力基本已无影响,因此地震情况下相邻结构间相互作用影响范围基本为两倍结构宽度。与此同时,附属结构的存在对于主体结构抗震特性是不利的,不同连接形式中单层通道连接的形式变形以及内力方面均小于双层通道连接形式。  相似文献

隔震技术作为当前最有效的结构减震控制技术之一,在世界各国高烈度地区广泛建造。随着隔震技术的大范围推广,建造工况更为复杂的隔震工程随之不断涌现。系统深入研究复杂地震激励下隔震结构地震响应,是隔震工程长期安全服役的重要保障,也是隔震技术能够不断完善和推广的坚实基础。本文从复杂地震激励涵盖的多维地震、近场和近断层地震、行波效应以及土与结构相互作用四个主要方面入手,依据国内外相关文献开展综述,探讨了复杂地震激励下隔震结构研究存在的问题,并对此进行展望。  相似文献

随着国内外大跨桥梁特别是跨海桥梁建设的迅速发展,沉井基础在桥梁基础中所占的比例越来越大。虽然沉井基础作为1种刚性基础具有良好的力学性能,然而震害实践表明沉井基础在地震作用下也并非万无一失。通过分析国内外典型桥梁沉井基础的震害特征发现,沉井基础的地震破坏与桩基础有显著差异,且与埋置深度有直接关系;研究表明:地震作用下沉井基础的破坏机理及地基承载力与静力作用下明显不同,但目前在该方面的研究还较为欠缺;总结和对比了现有几种沉井基础-土相互作用研究方法,并分析了几种研究方法的优缺点和适用场合;同时也归纳和对比了各国抗震规范对桥梁沉井基础的基本规定、适用范围、计算方法和构造规定等方面的内容。最后结合现有的研究现状对沉井基础抗震性能研究的发展方向进行了展望,此外,随着我国跨海、跨江及跨库区大跨桥梁建设的发展,地震力和波浪力等多灾害因素共同作用下深水沉井基础桥梁破坏机理及设计方法的研究势在必行。  相似文献

通过典型水文钻孔和露头剖面沉积地质、水文地质调查、样品测试及综合研究表明,鄂尔多斯盆地白垩系含水层形成时,北部环河组、洛河组均广泛发育河流相沉积,而南部环河组湖泊相为主、洛河组沙漠沙丘相广泛分布的沉积古地理格局,这对含水岩石中长石、粘土矿物、方解石、石膏等重要矿物组成和易溶盐含量及其空间分布形成明显控制,也控制了含水层和隔水层空间分布,并显著影响了深层地下水循环交替条件的区域分布变化。在沉积-成岩环境条件下,影响地下水水化学场形成和水质分布变化的主要水-岩作用包括硫酸盐、碳酸盐及硅酸盐矿物的溶解溶滤和阳离子交换作用等水文地球化学作用。受含水层沉积岩相古地理、地下水循环及水岩作用等因素控制,环河组、洛河组地下水总体表现为盆地北区TDS低、淡水发育、以HCO3型为主,南区TDS高、微咸水和咸水发育、以HCO3.SO4型为主的分布规律,地下水水化学和水质分布在北区分布变化小、在南区上下含水层分布变化复杂。  相似文献
