Base on the Os isotope stratigraphy together with the empirical growth rate models using Co concentrations, the growth ages
of the ferromanganese crusts MHD79 and MP3D10 distributed in the seamount of Pacific are confirmed. Through the contrast and
research on the previous achievements including ODP Leg 144 and the crusts CD29-2, N5E-06 and N1–15 of the seamount of the
Central Pacific, the uniform five growth and growth hiatus periods of them are found, and closely related to the Cenozoic
ocean evolvement process. In the Paleocene Carbon Isotope Maximum (PCIM), the rise of the global ocean productivity promoted
the growth of the seamount crust; the first growth hiatus (I) of the ferromanganese crust finished. In the Paleocene-Eocene
Thermal Maximum (PETM), though the vertical exchange of seawater was weakened, the strong terrestrial chemical weathering
led to the input of a great amount of the terrigenous nutrients, which made the bioproductivity rise, so there were no crust
hiatuses. During 52–50 Ma, the Early Eocene Optimum Climate (EECO), the two poles were warm, the latitudinal temperature gradient
was small, the wind-driven sea circulation and upwelling activity were weak, the terrestrial weathering was also weakened,
the open ocean bioproductivity decreased, and the ferromanganese crust had growth hiatus again (II). From early Middle Eocene-Late
Eocene, Oligocene, it was a long-term gradually cooling process, the strengthening of the sea circulation and upwelling led
to a rise of bioproductivity, and increase of the content of the hydrogenous element Fe, Mn and Co and the biogenous element
Cu, Zn, so that was the most favorable stage for the growth of ferromanganese crust (growth periods III and IV) in the studied
area. The hiatus III corresponded with the Eocene- Oligocene boundary, is inferred to relate with the global climate transformation,
celestial body impact event in the Eocene-Oligocene transition. From the early to the middle Miocene, a large-scale growth
hiatus (hiatus period IV) of the ferromanganese crust in the studied area is inferred to relate with temporary warm up climate
and ephemeral withdrawal of Antarctic bottom water in the early Miocene. After that, the Antarctic ice sheets extended, the
bottom water circumfluence strengthened, the ocean fertility increased, and the once interrupted crust continued to grow in
the late Miocene (growth period V).

The paper focuses on the seismic response of walls in dual (frame + wall) structures, with particular emphasis on shear behaviour.
Although dual structures are widely used in earthquake-resistant medium-rise and high-rise buildings, the provisions of modern
seismic codes regarding design of walls for shear are not fully satisfactory, particularly in the (common) case that walls
of substantially different length form part of the same structure. Relevant provisions of the leading seismic codes are first
summarised and their limitations discussed. Then an extensive parametric study is presented, involving two multistorey dual
systems, one with identical walls, and one with walls with unequal length, designed to the provisions of Eurocode 8 for two
different ductility classes (H and M). The walls of the same structures are also designed to other methods such as those used
in New Zealand and Greece. The resulting different designs are then assessed by subjecting the structures to a suite of strong
ground motions, carrying out inelastic time history analysis, and comparing the results against design action effects. It
is found that although modern code procedures generally lead to satisfactory performance (differences among them do exist),
the design of walls seems to be less appropriate in the case of unequal length walls. For this case a modified procedure is
proposed, consisting of an additional factor to account for the relative contribution of walls of the same length to the total
base and an improved envelope of wall shears along the height; this improved method seems to work better than the other procedures
evaluated herein, but further calibration is clearly required. 相似文献

本文主要研究高层钢框架结构的地震失效模式及其控制方法。首先,给出了高层钢结构的地震失效模式的分析方法;其次,提出了根据结构的失效路径来加强构件对高层钢结构的地震失效模式进行控制的方法;然后,提出了结构整体抗震能力的分析方法以及分别相应于设计能力和屈服能力的能力储备分析方法;最后,通过对一座15层的钢框架结构进行典型地震动下的极限时程分析和极限pushover分析,得到高层钢框架结构的失效模式和整体抗震能力以及相应于最弱失效模式的能力储备,并验证了本文中地震失效模式控制方法的有效性。本文的研究表明,高层钢结构的地震失效模式控制可以采用结构失效路径修正(薄弱构件加强)来实现。 相似文献

磁通门磁强计(FGM)的磁补偿随时间会发生缓慢变化; 因此,提高FGM磁补偿的标定精度对实现高精度磁场测量至关重要.最近,一种基于磁镜结构的标定方法被提出,本文将其称之为Wang-Pan方法Ⅱ.本文分析了Wang-Pan方法Ⅱ在太阳风、地球磁鞘和磁尾电流片区域的适用性.我们发现,磁镜结构或线性磁洞事件个数的增加有助于降低Wang-Pan方法Ⅱ的计算误差; 此外,事件的背景磁场强度和磁场耗散程度会显著影响Wang-Pan方法Ⅱ的计算精度.Wang-Pan方法Ⅱ在太阳风和磁尾电流片中的计算误差在±0.2 nT以内的概率高达70%,在磁鞘中计算误差比太阳风及磁尾电流片中的大了约1个数量级.为了提高利用磁镜结构标定磁补偿值的精度,我们研究了线性磁洞事件的多个参数特征对磁补偿计算误差的影响,该研究结果将为Wang-Pan方法Ⅱ的应用提供磁镜结构或线性磁洞事件的筛选参考准则.

Although mode I and mode II crack propagation show many similarities, in particular when analysed by linear elastic fracture
mechanics, they differ significantly in the micro-structural behaviour. These differences, which are clearly noticeable in
the fracture surface morphology, lead to fundamental differences in the macroscopic behaviour. Thus, mode II crack expansion
under remote loading, appears to obey micro-structural scaling laws, implying that the dimensions of the process region stay
essentially constant during crack expansion, rather than increasing with crack length. Therefore, expanding mode II cracks
can almost reach the Rayleigh velocity, and actually also intersonic velocities. An expanding mode I crack, on the other hand,
seems to obey continuum scaling laws, implying that the dimensions of the process region increase in proportion to crack length,
leading to self-similar crack expansion at a velocity significantly below the Rayleigh speed and dependent on the remote load. 相似文献

给出了三种常用的随机地震地面运动过程模型,即理想白噪声模型、金井清模型、改进金井清模型的相关函数表达式.引入状态向量,在状态空间中建立地震地面运动激励下的结构振动方程,并求解出结构的复模态特性和复模态反应.利用复模态叠加法推导出线性时不变多自由度体系在这三种随机地震动激励下的平稳协方差反应的解析式,可在时域内直接计算结构随机反应的统计特征.该方法物理概念清晰,结论简便明确,可作为实际工程结构平稳随机地震反应的实用分析方法. 相似文献
