Discussion: A review on the behaviour of helical piles as a potential offshore foundation system

Abstract

Helical piles have emerged as an attractive foundation system for offshore applications with renewed interest from the offshore community. Significant research gap currently exists in transferring this technology offshore and this paper discusses how existing and emerging knowledge can be successfully used to bridge some of the gaps. We focus on the Coupled Eulerian Lagrangian (CEL) large deformation finite element (LDFE) modelling technique that is commercially available and can be used to model the three-dimensional installation process with consideration of strain rate and softening effects in soft offshore clays. A helical pile of L?=?7.5?m long is modelled with one or two large-diameter helices (D?=?2?m) attached to a central shaft of d?=?0.5?m in diameter.The net effect of strain rate and softening is to increase the installation torque. The measured torque is within the range of 200–400?kN.m for the offshore clay and the pile geometry studied. Additional helices increase the uplift force but to a lesser degree than that of the measured torque. Remoulding induced strength reduction is found to be within the range of 25–33% of the intact clay strength. Issues of extracting and reusing offshore helical pile foundations are discussed.

本文从近海工程设计应用的需要出发，对于通常使用的不同来源的测风资料平均时间进行了分析，这些资料来源包括：岸边及近海探查与生产设施上的气象台站、天气观测船、浮标、商船气象报、从受灾情况估计出的极大风速以及动力诊断模型估计出的海面风速。     

动态基准实时测量系统的开发与应用

介绍了动态基准实时测量系统的硬件组成、站点上全站仪棱镜组合安装与检测方法、系统软件的开发及特点，最后对系统在广州地铁某地铁站结构变形自动监测中的应用情况进行了阐述。通过实际应用表明该系统能应用在自动化、高精度的变形监测领域。     

山东省海岸工程可持续发展的若干问题

从风暴潮、黄河口治理、海水地下入侵与咸水侵染、海岸及沿海污染、沿海滩涂与黄河三角洲开发、海上交通和港口发展、海岸和海上石油开采、海岸工业基地建设、沿海旅游和海岛开发 ,以及沿岸淡水资源开发与海水利用等 1 0个方面 ,对山东省海岸工程的可持续发展问题进行了分析和讨论 ,并针对具体问题 ,提出了解决可持续发展问题的对策与措施。     

一类二阶非线性微分方程解的振动性

本文研究一类二阶非线性微分方程 X+q(t)φ(X,X)+p(t)g(X)h(X)=0的解的振动性。文[1]研究了方程 X+q(t)φ(X,X)+p(t)g (X)X~α=0的解的振动性,而文[2]研究了方程 X+p(t)g(X)h(X)=0的解的振动性。本文所得的结果包含了文[1]的全部结果及文[2]的部份结果。     

Theory and Practice of Soft Clay Engineering

-The shear strength and deformation properties of soft clay are discussed first. Then some methods for predicting the performance of soft clay foundation are proposed. Finally, case histories are presented to illustrate some discussed aspects of soft clay.

介绍了陀螺定向测量中三种不同的数据采集方法，分析了各种方法的优缺点。作者认为传感器采集数据自动化程度高，精度高，特别是运用位置敏感探测器（PSD）采样数据量大，具有一定的抗干扰能力，但在运用传感器采样时必须注意克服非线性误差。     

山东全新世滨海软土与工程地质灾害的研究

山东全新世滨海软土分布在海湾、泻湖、河口区，厚度１－１０ｍ。海湾、泻湖软土为淤泥、淤泥质土，陆源物质供应丰富的浅水区，软土颗粒偏粗，强度相对较高，触变性对建筑物危害性大，陆源物质供应少的深水区，软土颗粒偏细，低强度、高压缩性、沉降变形大和蠕变性是危及建筑物稳定的主要因素。海湾、泻湖软土位于地下水位下，具低透水性，掩埋后短期不易排水固结，软土下为强度较高的冲积物，对一般建筑物，利用强夯、粉喷搅拌桩、     

从第九届国际光合作用大会看藻类分子遗传学发展趋势

根据１９９２年８月３０日－９月４日在日本名古层如开的第九届国际光合作用大会上交流的以藻类为材料的研究论文，综述了分子遗传学方面的研究成果。认为这些成果体现了光合作用研究的最新进展，蕴含有一定的应用前景；表明类分子遗传学不仅是藻类学研究领域的带头学科，而且已经活跃在光合作用等重大生物学问题研究的前沿；反映了藻类分子遗传学向解决生物学重大问题和推动藻类资料开发方向发展的趋势。
