Wetlands play irreplaceable key roles in ecological and environmental procedures. To make effective conservation and management, it is essential to understand the wetlands’ distribution and changes. In this study, an approach based on decision rules algorithm in conjunction with maximum likelihood classification is proposed for coastal wetland mapping using multi-temporal remotely sensed imagery and ancillary geospatial data. As a case study, Multi-temporal Advanced Visible and Near Infrared Radiometer type 2 images acquired by Japanese Advanced Land Observation Satellite are analysed to investigate the seasonal change pattern of coastal wetlands in Washington State, USA. Geospatial data, including Digital Elevation Model and spatial neighbourhood knowledge, are further integrated to characterize wetland features and discriminate classes within a certain elevation ranges. The final result is a refined coastal wetland map with 15 land cover categories. Preliminary evaluation of the final result shows that the proposed approach is effective in coastal wetland mapping. 相似文献

在地物环境状况较为复杂时传统基于统计学遥感分类算法难以得到较高的分类精度。针对这一问题,这里将基于分组策略的改进基因表达式编程算法(BS-GEP)应用到遥感图像分类问题中,避免传统的基因表达式编程算法由于种群多样性破坏引起局部收敛,解决地物状况复杂时难以得到较高分类精度的问题。实验结果表明:基于分组策略的基因表达式编程算法的分类器提取的分类规则能转为数学表达式形式并能获得较高的分类精度,与基因表达式编程算法(GEP)相比分类结果混淆程度相对较低,与最大似然法相比分类结果相对清楚,模型分类精度达到93%。 相似文献

In this paper a fuzzy dynamic wave routing model (FDWRM) for unsteady flow simulation in open channels is presented. The continuity equation of the dynamic wave routing model is preserved in its original form while the momentum equation is replaced by a fuzzy rule based model which is developed on the principle that during unsteady flow the disturbances in the form of discontinuities in the gradient of the physical parameters will propagate along the characteristics with a velocity equal to that of velocity of the shallow water wave. The model gets rid off the assumptions associated with the momentum equation by replacing it with the fuzzy rule based model. It overcomes the necessity of calculating friction slope (Sf) in flow routing and hence the associated uncertainties are eliminated. The robustness of the fuzzy rule based model enables the FDWRM to march the solution even in regions where the aforementioned assumptions are violated. Also the model can be used for flow routing in curved channels. When the model is applied to hypothetical flood routing problems in a river it is observed that the results are comparable to those of an implicit numerical model (INM) which solves the dynamic wave equations using an implicit numerical scheme. The model is also applied to a real case of flow routing in a field canal. The results match well with the measured data and the model performs better than the INM. 根据全国739个气象台站1961年1月至2005年12月的逐日气象数据记录建立时空序列数据集,提取极端高温事件和极端低温事件。结合传统关联规则挖掘技术和地理空间数据分析方法,对极端气温事件数据集进行了空间关联模式的分析。实验结果显示,所得空间关联模式中涉及的区域在空间上具有明显的聚集性;在东北、华中两个局部地区的台站中,极端气温事件的发生存在较强的关联规则(支持度阈值6%,置信度阈值95%),而在其他区域的台站中,极端气温事件不存在类似的关联规则,且极端高温事件的关联规则数量要明显高于极端低温事件。对存在关联规则的台站进行空间分析发现,同一关联规则内的各台站具有空间邻近性,其邻近范围约为200 km。以上空间关联模式的挖掘分析,可以为我国极端气温事件的预警和防控提供有价值的参考。 相似文献

This paper focuses on a topic barely considered in the literature: how to improve the accuracy of a given Digital Elevation Model (DEM) irrespective of its lineage by identifying its most suspicious values (also denoted here as outliers). Methods tailored to a specific procedure and source (contour maps, remote sensing image, etc.) exist but they are not valid for other cases. This is a problem for both the producer and end user. The results of a comparison of two methods using six DEMs intended to be representative of different landscapes are reported here. Both methods have been applied to each DEM, producing a number of height candidates to be analysed. Assuming that all candidates are wrong, their elevations have been blindly replaced by interpolated heights, simulating the behaviour of the inexperienced user. The improved (or degraded) DEMs are then compared against the ground truth, and updated accuracy figures are calculated. The RMSE can diminish by 2 to 8% of the original value by changing less than 1% of the elevations in the dataset. 相似文献

Abstract An alternative procedure for assessment of reservoir Operation Rules (ORs) under drought situations is proposed. The definition of ORs for multi-reservoir water resources systems (WRSs) is a topic that has been widely studied by means of optimization and simulation techniques. A traditional approach is to link optimization methods with simulation models. Thus the objective here is to obtain drought ORs for a real and complex WRS: the Júcar River basin in Spain, in which one of the main issues is the resource allocation among agricultural demands in periods of drought. To deal with this problem, a method based on the combined use of genetic algorithms (GA) and network flow optimization (NFO) is presented. The GA used was PIKAIA, which has previously been used in other water resources related fields. This algorithm was linked to the SIMGES simulation model, a part of the AQUATOOL decision support system (DSS). Several tests were developed for defining the parameters of the GA. The optimization of various ORs was analysed with the objective of minimizing short-term and long-term water deficits. The results show that simple ORs produce similar results to more sophisticated ones. The usefulness of this approach in the assessment of ORs for complex multi-reservoir systems is demonstrated.
