Disperse and punctual studies; absence of integration of data ranging from local to regional focus; interpretations based only on lithostratigraphic features; and interpretation of data premised on an allochthonous origin of the Caribbean plate, are some of factors that increase the confusion and uncertainty in understanding the Sinú-San Jacinto Basin. The sedimentary record of Upper Cretaceous to Eocene has been traditionally interpreted as the record of deep-water settings. However, recently these sediments have been related to shallow marine and deltaic settings. Second problematic point is about the deposition environment of the Oligocene to Late Miocene succession. Some studies suggest canyons, turbidites and sediments deposited in deep-water settings. However, recent studies propose deltaic and shallow marine settings. The last stratigraphic problem is related to the controversial fluvial vs. shallow marine interpretations of the Pliocene sediments. Based upon seismic stratigraphic analysis in recent and reprocessed 2D seismic data, integrated with well data, we propose chronostratigraphic charts for the northern, central and southern zones of the Sinú-San Jacinto Basin. Twenty seismic facies based on amplitude, continuity, frequency and geometry of seismic reflectors and twelve seismic sequences were recognized. The seismic stratigraphic analysis in this study suggests that the sediments of Upper Cretaceous to Paleocene/Eocene were associated to continental to shallow marine settings. Lagoons, coastal plain and carbonate platform dominated during this period. The Oligocene to Middle Miocene record was characterized by deep-water deposition, whereas the Late Miocene to recent sedimentation was characterized by falling base level, characterized by deltaic and fluvial deposits. Five syn-rift sequences with wedge-shaped geometry were identified in this study. Three Triassic to Jurassic syn-rift sequences were characterized by seismic facies typical of fluvial to lacustrine and flood plain sedimentation. Two Cretaceous to Paleocene syn-rift sequences were characterized by seismic facies related to lagoons to coastal plain settings. Normal high-angle faults with a northeast-southwest direction related to rifting processes controlled the development of these sequences. The sheet-drape post-rift section was characterized by passive margin settings in the northern part of the Sinú-San Jacinto Basin and by diachronic tectonic inversion of older normal faults during Cenozoic, predominantly in the central and southern zones. The stratigraphic record related to the Mesozoic to Early Cenozoic rifting; the shallow marine sedimentation during Eocene and the tectono-stratigraphic continuity across the northern Colombia and northwestern Venezuela is coherent and well explained by the in situ origin of the Caribbean plate and is not explained by the “allochthonous” model. 相似文献

洞子沟银铜多金属矿床产于华北克拉通北缘长城系常州沟组地层中,受地层控制明显。通过对该矿床地质特征及矿石的稀土元素地球化学特征、矿物流体包裹体特征、硫氢氧同位素组成及U-Pb同位素年代研究表明:成矿物质来源于幔源;矿床形成于古元古代晚期华北克拉通吕梁运动后的伸展裂解过程中,在断陷盆地接受沉积的同时,有沿同生断裂上升的幔源热液、银铜金铅锌等成矿物质组分与常州沟组陆源碎屑一同沉积,形成洞子沟银铜多金属沉积层控型矿床。 相似文献

The Tertiary Mineoka ophiolite occurs in a fault zone at the intersection of the Honshu and Izu forearcs in central Japan and displays structural evidence for three major phases of deformation: normal and oblique-slip faults and hydrothermal veins formed during the seafloor spreading evolution of the ophiolite at a ridge-transform fault intersection. These structures may represent repeated changes in differential stress and pore-fluid pressures during their formation. The second series of deformation is characterized by oblique thrust faults with Riedel shears and no significant mineral veining, and is interpreted to have resulted from transpressional dextral faulting during the obduction of the ophiolite through oblique convergence and tectonic accretion. This deformation occurred at the NW corner of a TTT-type (trench–trench–trench) triple junction in the NW Pacific rim before the middle Miocene. The third series of deformation of the ophiolite is marked by contractional and oblique shear zones, Riedel shears, and thrust faults that crosscut and offset earlier structures, and that give the Mineoka fault zone its lenticular (phacoidal) fabric at all scales. This deformation phase was associated with the establishment and the southward migration of the TTT Boso triple junction and with the kinematics of oblique subduction and forearc sliver fault development. The composite Mineoka ophiolite hence displays rocks and structures that evolved during its complex geodynamic history involving seafloor spreading, tectonic accretion, and triple junction evolution in the NW Pacific Rim. 相似文献

沙德盖岩体位于华北克拉通北缘中段、哈达门沟大型金(钼)矿田范围内。首次利用锆石 SHRIMP U-Pb法对其定年,获得15个锆石颗粒206Pb/238U年龄的加权平均值(221.6±2.1) Ma(MSWD=1.6),表明岩体侵位于印支中期。岩石地球化学特征表现为高硅(SiO2质量分数为71.21%~73.67%)、富钾(K2O/Na2O为1.01~1.37)、富碱(K2O+Na2O为8.23%~9.96%)、弱过铝质(Al2O3为13.11%~14.31%),里特曼指数σ=2.43~3.52,钙碱性-碱性;富集轻稀土(LREE/HREE为17.68~14.92,(La/Yb)|N为22.85~16.58)和Eu略亏损(δEu=0.95~0.93);微量元素亏损Nb、Ta、P、Ti、Sr,富集K、La、Ce、Hf等元素,具有A型花岗岩特征;(87Sr/86Sr)i=0.705 31~0.702 29,(143Nd/144Nd)i=0.511 682~0.511 620,εNd(t)=-13.1~-14.3,具有壳源特点;钕两阶段模式年龄T2DM=2 061~2 160 Ma,在铅构造模式图上样品投点于地幔与下地壳之间。综合分析认为其形成于同碰撞向后碰撞构造体制转换,伸展构造和幔源基性岩浆的底侵导致早期古老基底地壳部分熔融,很可能是形成沙德盖岩体的主要动力机制。华北克拉通北缘印支期构造岩浆活动及成矿作用是普遍存在的。 相似文献

本文根据重力场小波变换的尺度—源深度转换律,进行地面重力异常场多尺度分解,取得了反映中国地壳不同埋藏深度的小波细节,揭示了克拉通地体地壳的密度结构。中国大陆克拉通地体地壳密度结构的总体特点是:地壳密度总体偏高,尤其是在经历了岩浆底垫作用后,下地壳形成了粗大的和高密度的壳根,而造山带的下地壳通常有低密度的山根。现今的克拉通地体有几个演化的阶段,由陆地核演化为一定规模的克拉通地体可能经历漫长的时间。不同演化的阶段地体的物理性质有明显的变化,要赋予大地构造单元以演化阶段的内涵,才能准确理解它们的行为和属性。同时,根据地壳密度结构成像的结果,可以了解克拉通地体的成熟度。中国大陆克拉通地体或者内部地块的地壳密度结构大致可以分为三类。上中下地壳密度都偏高的属于第一类,称为典型的克拉通,塔里木、阿拉善、华北东部、上中扬子等属于第一类。第二类克拉通地体上地壳密度偏低,而下地壳密度偏高,称为弱结晶基底的克拉通,鄂尔多斯和佳木斯属于第二类。第三类上中地壳密度偏高,而下地壳密度偏低,称为无壳根的克拉通残片,柴达木和准噶尔盆地属于此类,它们可能是古克拉通地体的残片。 相似文献

According to the ideas and concepts of systems dynamic of continent structure, using previous information related to the study area, combining analyses on orogenic belt, basin and magmatic rock, the present paper synthesizes the tectono-sedimentary development of southeastern coast region, China, with special emphasis on the mountain making, basining and magmafc activity. The tectonic evolution after Late Caledonian orogeny was dominated by alternating rifting and converging, subsiding and uplifting, mountain making and basining in central and southern parts of southeastern China and the adjacent regions to the east and west.
