A system perspective on innovation in the Norwegian dairy industry

Regional innovation systems (RIS) have made a considerable contribution on the one hand to a scientific understanding of how innovation occurs and on the other hand as a political tool for stimulation of regional development. The aim of the article is to illuminate this theoretical approach by discussing the role of regional innovation systems in promoting innovation in the dairy (meieri) industry in Norway, and further, by discussing regional consequences of the development of regional innovation systems. The main conclusion is that it is hard to find regional innovation systems within the dairy industry in Norway; the mainstream milk sector is nationally oriented. Within farm processing and a few ‘countercurrent’ dairy firms, however, a stronger relation to regional networks emerges. Development of regional innovation systems is a kind of endogenous development that presupposes there are local and regional resources available, which often is not the case. Hence, a one-sided commitment to regional innovation systems will result in regional disparities in economic growth. Varied strategies for innovation and for regional development can compensate for these disparities.     

巨大撞击对地球演化的系统灾变效应

综述了巨大地外物体撞击事件对地球产生的一系列剧烈灾变效应，包括撞击事件诱发或产生的各类地质作用变化、古气候波动、古生物灭绝和古地磁倒转等。同时指出，全面深入地研究巨大撞击的灾变效应对认识地球演化和发展具有重要意义。     

近10年来长江下游土地利用变化及其生态环境效应

基于TM卫星遥感数据,对长江下游地区1988~1998年10年来土地利用类型的数量和时空变化特征进行了研究。为表征长江下游土地利用及其变化的时空分异特征,以县级行政区为基本空间分析单元,利用土地利用程度变化模型以及土地利用类型变化强度指数分析了长江下游近10年来的土地利用程度及其变化的区域分异特征、各土地利用类型变化强度的区域分异特征;通过计算土地利用变化类型的重要值,分析了区域土地利用变化的空间趋向性。研究中还对农田的数量变化特征、耕地流失强度的区域分异,特别是土地利用变化的区域生态环境效应等问题进行了分析和探讨。

Chernobyl reactor accident consequences on small atmospheric ions concentration above Athens

In the present study the variation in small ion concentration (SIC), positive and negative, above Athens (=37°58.3N, =23°43E,h=107 m) after Chernobyl reactor accident is examined.SIC started to increase importantly at the National Observatory of Athens (N.O.A) since 3 May 1986 and reached its highest mean daily values on Monday, 5 May. These maximum values were 4 times the normal for positive ions and 5 times the normal for negative ions. Correlation coefficients were calculated between SIC and radionuclides I-131, Cs-137, Ru-103 and outdoor exposure rate.     

湖泊蓝藻水华生态灾害形成机理及防治的基础研究

湖泊具有供水、渔业、旅游、维持区域生态系统平衡等功能,是支撑我国经济和社会发展的重要资源之一。但是近30年来,湖泊富营养化所导致的蓝藻水华频繁暴发,生态灾害事件频发,严重影响湖泊功能的发挥, 制约区域经济可持续发展。针对国家在保障区域水安全和生态安全、保护人民健康及建设和谐社会等方面的重大需求,国家重点基础研究发展计划项目“湖泊蓝藻水华生态灾害形成机理及防治的基础研究”于2008年7月正式立项。项目拟解决的关键科学问题包括：①湖泊蓝藻水华主要衍生污染物的形成机理、迁移转化规律和毒理效应;②蓝藻水华导致湖泊生态系统结构变化和功能退化的机理;③蓝藻水华生态灾害评估及调控机理。针对上述科学问题,项目以蓝藻水华污染物的产生、湖泊生态系统结构与功能的响应以及生态灾害的评估与调控为研究主线,重点开展以下几个方面的研究：①蓝藻水华衍生污染物的产生及其环境过程;②蓝藻水华衍生污染物的毒理效应与生态和健康风险;③蓝藻水华导致湖泊生态系统结构变化与功能退化的关键过程和机制;④蓝藻水华灾害治理和调控的的技术原理和途径。项目的实施和完成将为我国湖泊蓝藻水华生态灾害的预防与控制提供理论和技术原理支撑。
