The Mobarak Formation is near the town of Kiyasar in the south-east of Sari city, northern Iran. This formation conformably overlies the Geirud Formation (Upper Devonian). The lower part of the Mobarak Formation consisting of shales and thin- to medium-bedded limestone toward the top of these sequences changes into alternations of dark limestone and interbedded gray to black shales. Weathered yellow thick-bedded shales are observed at the top of the section. This formation is covered unconformably by sandstones attributed to the Dorud Formation (Lower Permian). The thickness of the formation in this region is 250 m. Four rock units have been recognized in this section. Foraminiferal biostratigraphy shows that the age of the Mobarak Formation in the Kiaysar region ranges from Lower Tournaisian to Early Middle Visean. The foraminifer Zones FAZ1 and FAZ2 are correlated with the Lower Tournaisian and Upper Tournaisian, whereas Zones FAZ3 and FAZ4 correlate with the Visean. Affinities exist between specimens recorded in the Kiyasar section with species known from other regions in eastern and Central Alborz, but there are important differences in their appearance. 相似文献

在辽河盆地各构造单元中以西部凹陷湖泊沉积持续时间最长,是研究辽河盆地沙河街组页岩气成藏的良好地区.本次在大量的资料收集、整理和分析的基础上,对辽河盆地西部凹陷沙河街组页岩气成藏地质条件进行初步分析,结果表明:本区的暗色泥岩主要发育在半深湖-深湖环境中,暗色泥岩具有厚度大、连续性强、分布广的特点.有机质丰度较高,TOC平均值在2.18%左右.干酪根类型以II型为主,偏向产气.有机质成熟度基本大于0.59%,表明泥页岩已基本进入大量排烃阶段.脆性矿物总量达到43.1%~61.5%,有利于页岩气开采.在页岩气成藏的地质因素分析基础上,综合研究认为,清水洼陷是沙河街组页岩气富集的有利区域. 相似文献

在野外实际调研成果并结合前人资料的基础上,从岩石组合、岩石地球化学特征及构造组合特征等方面分析,认为原“稻香组”建组剖面(政和稻香-高堀剖面),可划分为三套分属不同时代的岩性组合,且将稻香组的定义重新修订。其下部为细砂岩、粉砂岩、硅质岩、泥岩组合,时代暂置晚古生代。三套岩石组合间为构造拼接关系,其性质为逆冲推覆.运动方向由南东向北西,推测逆冲推覆事件发生在晚侏罗世。 相似文献

Precambrian banded iron formation(BIF) is one of the most important mineral resources in China, mostly abundant in the North China Craton(NCC) with relatively less common in South China. Since the BIF and siliceous rocks both originated from chemical deposition, the syngenetic BIF and Siliceous rocks can help evaluate their environment of formation. We examine here the mineralogy and geochemistry of siliceous rocks associated with the Tieshanmiao Formation BIF, aiming to decipher the conditions of formation of both BIF and Siliceous rocks in the Wuyang area in the NCC. Analysis of the geochemical characteristics of whole rock shows that the Si O2 content of the siliceous rock ranges from 90.11% to 94.85% and is relatively high overall. Trace element contents of Ba and U are also high, the Ba/Sr ratio ranges from 3.89 to 25.28 and the U/Th ratio ranges from 0.09 to 0.20. Finally, the ΣREE value of rare earth elements ranges from 57.03 ppm to 152.59 ppm, and these indexes all indicate that siliceous rock resulted from hydrothermal deposition. Plots of Al2 O3-Si O2, Si O2/(K2 O+Na2 O)-Mn O2/Ti O2 and Mn-10×(Cu+Co+Ni)-Fe in discrimination diagrams also verify this interpretation. However, both the Mg O content, ranging from 0.16 to 0.32, and the Fe/Ti ratio, ranging from 2.50 to 9.72, suggest that terrigenous material was added during the depositional process. Major and trace element parameters of siliceous rock, such as the Al/(A1+Fe+Mn) ratio(from 0.81 to 0.93), Mn O/Ti O2(from 0.00 to 0.17), Al/(Al+Fe)(from 0.82 to 0.93), Sc/Th ratio(from 0.21 to 0.50), U/Th(from 0.09 to 0.20),(La/Yb)N(from 0.83 to 3.04), and the(La/Ce)N(from 0.01 to 0.02) all imply that the siliceous rock formed in a continental margin. In addition, the Sr/Ba ratio from 0.08 to 0.26, the δCe value from 0.31 to 0.90, and the δEu value from 0.14 to 0.58, all indicate that the siliceous rock was formed at a relatively deeper water depth and under weak hydrodynamic conditions. Siliceous rock and BIF formed in the same geological setting, with the Si O2/(K2 O+Na2 O) ratio of siliceous rock ranging from 28.61 to 47.43, the Si O2/Al2 O3 ratio from 16.53 to 32.37, and the Si O2/Mg O ratio from 287.28 to 592.81, which are all in agreement with chemical deposition associated with volcanic eruptions. The Al2 O3/Ti O2 ratio from 37.82 to 50.30 indicates that the magma source of siliceous rock was of slightly intermediate composition. During the Late Archean in the Wuyang area, the high concentration and high purity Si O2 quickly precipitated from hydrothermal fluids to finally result in the accumulation of siliceous rock in a marginal sea, while the input corresponding to iron formation components was deposited to form iron formation layers, and limestone was only the product formed during the deposition intervals of siliceous rock and iron formations. In this study, the synsedimentary siliceous rocks of BIF act as a new way to provide direct evidence to understand the formation environment of BIF due to its high geochemical stability. 相似文献

对松辽盆地白垩纪国际大陆科学钻探工程——松科2井的沙河子组自然伽马测井数据(GR)开展了详细的旋回地层学研究。频谱分析结果揭示, 沙河子组上段(3336~4727 m)具有142~188 m、44~57 m、14 m和7~9 m的沉积旋回; 下段(4727~5960 m)具有170~205 m、44~61 m、16~18 m和7.5~11.5 m的沉积旋回。这些沉积旋回的周期之比近似早白垩世天文轨道周期之比20:5:2:1, 将这些沉积旋回依次解释为405 ka长偏心率、约100 ka短偏心率、约37 ka斜率和约20 ka岁差旋回。相关系数法(COCO)通过统计检验获得上、下段地层沉积速率约为40 cm/ka和56 cm/ka, 支持了该天文周期的解释。对405 ka长偏心率沉积旋回信号进行带通滤波, 并以松科2井3961 m处凝灰岩样品的锆石U-Pb二次离子探针年龄(U-Pb SIMS)113.9±0.9 Ma为锚点, 建立了松科2井沙河子组(112.3~118.2)±0.4 Ma的"浮动"天文年代标尺, 其持续时间约为5.92±0.4 Ma。本研究为确定早白垩世升温过程中松辽盆地重大环境和地质事件的年代提供了新的年代学约束, 为该时期全球海、陆相地质事件对比提供了年代学基础。 相似文献

The base of the Saerba Member (Mbr) of the Hongguleleng Formation (Fm.) probably lies in the Famennian Palmatolepis crepida Zone; the Longkou Mbr is probably a sedimentary wedge that thins out northwards; the Duguer Mbr has an approximate age from the upper part of the Pa. marginifera Zone or the Lower Pa. rugosa trachytera Zone through the top of the Pa. perlobata postera Zone; the Wulan Mbr has an age approximately corresponding to the whole Pa. gracilis expansa Zone. In the Bulongguoer section, the Lower Mbr of the Hongguleleng Fm. corresponds to Famennian Pa. crepida Zone through Pa. marginifera Zone; the Middle Mbr probably ranges from the Pa. r. trachytera Zone through the Pa. g. expansa Zone. The basal Namu Mbr of the Heishantou Fm. is probably the product during and after the Hangenberg Event in the upper part of the Siphonodella praesulcata Zone, which is still within the Devonian. In this context, the underlying Chasi Mbr may approximately correspond to the lower part of the S. praesulcata Zone (before the Hangenberg Event). Lateral distribution of strata indicates that the Upper Devonian in the Gennaren and Saerba areas each constitutes a structure of syncline, which differs from the previous recognition of a monocline structure. 相似文献

湘潭锰矿床的锰矿层赋存于新元古代南华系(成冰系)大塘坡组底部含锰黑色页岩中,含锰矿物主要为菱锰矿。湘潭锰矿的Fe/Mn值低,Th/U、V/(V+Ni)和V/Cr值等地球化学指标显示其发育在氧化-次氧化的沉积环境中,暗示菱锰矿并不是由Mn~(2+)和CO_3~(2-)直接沉淀形成的。湘潭锰矿稀土元素含量高,稀土元素配分模式存在轻微的中稀土元素富集,具有明显的Ce正异常,这些特征指示湘潭锰矿含锰矿物是以锰氧化物或氢氧化物的形式沉淀的。同时,锰矿的碳同位素富集碳的轻同位素,说明有机物参与了菱锰矿的形成过程。综合分析表明,湘潭锰矿成矿过程可以分为沉淀和转化两个阶段:在氧化性的水体中,Mn以氧化物或氢氧化物的形式沉淀;在缺氧且富含有机物质的成岩环境中,Mn氧化物或氢氧化物被有机物还原而转化生成菱锰矿。这与华南地区其他几个典型的大塘坡式锰矿的成矿机制一致。 相似文献
