A computerised decision support system for rural policy formulation

Abstract

A primary goal of the NERC/ESRC Land Use Programme (NELUP) was to design and build a decision support system (DSS) to model rural land use and its change due to environmental and agricultural policy. The effects of policies are measured in terms of economic, ecological and hydrological parameters, with land use and land cover being the uniting factors. The DSS incorporates access to a large database and a suite of complex models. The DSS is user-friendly, produces meaningful graphics, and is almost entirely mouse-driven. This paper describes the NELUP view of policy making and DSS, the NELUP database and the DSS models and interface philosophy and design. The results of workshops, conducted with potential users of the DSS, are discussed and summarised.     

Beyond Postmetropolis

Three recent developments have created new challenges and opportunities for urban geography and geographers: the rediscovery of the generative power of cities, the cross-disciplinary diffusion of critical spatial perspectives, and rising interest in regions and regionalism. With these new developments as background, I reflect upon some of the ideas and themes introduced in Postmetropolis: Critical Studies of Cities and Regions, published in 2000. Like the book, this effort to move beyond Postmetropolis is divided into three parts: Remapping the Geohistory of Cityspace; Six Discourses on the Postmetropolis; and Lived Space: Remembering 1992 in Los Angeles. Some of the same themes are taken up, often with a different emphasis, in the accompanying essays by Robert Beauregard, Mona Domosh, and Deborah Martin.     

基于Kriging 算法的海底地形插值设计与实现

针对目前海底地形构建方面存在的问题与不足,基于普通Kriging的计算公式,以渤海海域采集的离散高程点数据为例,对构建海底地形高程模型的空间插值方法——Kriging方法进行了研究。针对海底地形建模的具体实现,重点对Kriging算法的数据分布检验、数据分组、球形模型拟合、网格化插值以及结果显示等模块进行研究。最后,基于Visual C++6.0平台对海底地形高程的插值过程进行了编程实现和可视化表达,从而成功构建出渤海局部海域的海底地形特征,为海洋科学研究和工程建设提供了参考和依据。     

新丰江中心地震台日常数据处理软件

根据新丰江中心地震台实际业务工作的需要,在Visual C++6.0平台上,使用ActiveX Data Objects(ADO)技术,通过客户/服务器(C/S)模式访问MySQL数据库表,并基于MFC(微软基本类库,Microsoft Foundation Classes)的OLE(对象链接嵌入,Object Linking and Embedding)编程方法操作EXCEL报表文件,开发出一套地震数据处理软件,完成台站日常数据的录入、查询、修改、转换和报表输出等工作,实现地震台站的无纸化、网络化办公,提高工作效率。     

子夜均值数据处理软件自主开发和应用

通过对1995-2007年全国24个台站子夜均值数据的整理,总结出各类错误数据的特征,结合数据处理技术,利用Visual Basic语言编制了数据处理软件,建立一种自动化的错误数据识别方法,为数据整理和处理分析提供高效率的工具。为今后子夜均值数据的正确判断提供方便快捷的途径。     

Individual identification of Eurasian perch Perca fluviatilis by means of their stripe patterns

In this study we show that the number, position and shape of stripes were sufficiently unique to demonstrate that juvenile Eurasian perch Perca fluviatilis can be individually identified based on their stripe patterns. The stripe patterns in perch and also other species may thus be used in experiments as an alternative to conventional marking techniques that frequently cause stress to the fish.     

基于Visual Basic实现徕卡DNA03电子水准仪数据处理

基于Visual Basic平台研发电子水准仪数据处理软件,并利用Visual Basic与Microsoft Word进行交互,一键输出信息完整、简单明了、符合测绘成果归档要求的水准测量成果文档。软件实现了从原始数据到成果文档的自动化处理,包括数据提取、数据计算、超限数据提示、成果文档输出等功能,大大提高了电子水准测量内业资料整理效率和准确性,具有一定的实用性。     

重要天气自动化语音报警软件的研制

介绍了重要天气报文的格式及种类,以及如何利用Visual Basic编程语言对报文进行判别,提取重要天气报的相关信息,进行语音报警显示的方法.     

甘肃省民勤干旱区红沙岗矿区水资源模拟与评价

结合甘肃省民勤红沙岗矿区疏干水利用实例,基于Visal Modflow4.1软件对矿区第四系疏干水可利用量进行了数值模拟计算,并对矿区第四系松散岩类孔隙水的补给及储量进行了研究。研究结果表明:矿区第四系松散岩类孔隙水天然补给源为沟谷雨洪水入渗量和基岩裂隙水的侧向流入量之和98.41×10~4m~3/a(2 696.16 m~3/d),其储存量为2 798.45×10~4 m~3;设计矿区疏干水开采时间为30年、40年及50年时,与其对应第四系可利用疏干水量分别为281.98×10~4m~3/a(7 725.48 m~3/d)、225.32×10~4m~3/a(6 173.15 m~3/d)和183.55×10~4m~3/a(5 028.77 m~3/d),矿区疏干水不能满足计划用水量600.00×10~4 m~3/a,需寻找新的供水水源;计算结果较真实地反映了矿区疏干水储量,具有较好的实用性;所建模型为其它类似矿区疏干水可利用量的计算提供了借鉴。
