Metamorphosed turbidites from the Omeo Metamorphic Complex show only minor changes in δ18O values with increasing metamorphic grade from 13.4 ± 1.7% in the chlorite and biotite zones to 12.3 ± 1.0% in the sillimanite + K‐feldspar zone. Rocks within 5 km of the S‐type granite at Hume Dam have δ18O values of 6.8–8.1% that probably reflect interaction with heated meteoric‐igneous fluids. Interaction with igneous fluids has also occurred close to other I‐ and S‐type granites in this region. However, pervasive metamorphic fluid‐rock interaction in this terrain did not occur, which limits the region's potential for hydrothermal mineralisation. Anatexis at high grades was probably via dehydration‐melting reactions that consumed muscovite and biotite, which is consistent with there being little fluid present during metamorphism. Small (kilometre scale or less) S‐type granites in the sillimanite + K‐feldspar zone have δ18O values similar to those of the surrounding metasediments and probably formed by melting of those rocks. By contrast, larger (tens of kilometres scale) Ca‐rich, peraluminous, S‐type granites have lower δ18O values than the surrounding metasediments, and may represent melts of underlying middle to lower crust.  相似文献

The Malpica–Tui Unit (Galicia, NW Spain) records eclogite‐ and blueschist‐facies metamorphism during the onset of the Variscan orogeny in Europe. Petrological analysis involving pseudosections calculated using thermocalc shows that the Upper Sheet of this unit, the Ceán Schists, recorded a three‐stage metamorphic evolution involving (i) Early subduction‐related medium‐pressure/low‐temperature metamorphism (M1) constrained at ~350–380 °C, 12–14 kbar, which is only recorded in the basal part (lower metapelites, LM) of the Ceán Schists. (ii) Subduction‐related blueschist facies prograde metamorphism (M2) going from ~19 kbar, 420 °C to 21 kbar, 460 °C in the LM, and from 16 kbar 430 °C to 21–22 kbar, 520 °C in the structurally upper metapelites (UM). (iii) Exhumation‐related metamorphism (M3) is characterized by a decompression to 8–10 kbar, 470–490 °C in the LM. This decompression is also recorded in the UM, but it was not possible to estimate precise P–T conditions. The calculations indicate that (i) the prograde evolution in subduction zones may occur in fluid‐undersaturated conditions due to the crystallization of lawsonite, even in metapelitic rocks. This significantly influences phase equilibria and hence the P–T estimates. (ii) The proportion of ferric iron also has a strong influence on phase equilibria, even in metapelites. However, the analysed values of Fe2O3 may not reflect the oxidation state during the main metamorphic evolution and are probably easily modified by superficial alteration even in apparently fresh samples. The use of PTX(Fe2O3) pseudosections together with petrographic observations is then necessary to estimate the real oxidation state of the rocks and correctly evaluate the P–T conditions.  相似文献

花岗岩的源区、温压条件及与其他岩石的共生组合的研究可以限定其形成构造背景,了解其形成的深部动力学过程。本文对浙江中部中生代芙蓉山花岗斑岩及其暗色包体开展了全岩主微量元素、锆石U-Pb年代学和Hf同位素、Ti温度计和全岩Sr-Nd同位素研究,探讨芙蓉山花岗斑岩的成因类型、源区特征及其与镁铁质包体之间的关系,并进一步限定其构造背景。锆石U-Pb定年结果显示芙蓉山花岗斑岩加权平均年龄为133.6±1.6 Ma (MSWD = 2.1,2σ),镁铁质包体加权平均年龄为130.3±4.2 Ma (MSWD = 5.8,2σ),其成岩年龄基本一致,形成于早白垩世。全岩地球化学表明芙蓉山花岗斑岩属于亚碱性系列,同时具有低的Ga/Al(<2.6),高的Na2O含量(2.75%-4.5%,平均3.78%),较高的全碱含量(Na2O + K2O = 7.93%-8.75%),以及较低的锆石Ti饱和温度特征(631-690℃),这些特征显示芙蓉山花岗斑岩为I型花岗岩,而非A型花岗岩。芙蓉山花岗斑岩中锆石Hf同位素有比较大的范围[εHf(t)=-10.9~-1.1],全岩[n(87Sr)/ n(86Sr)]i = 0.7062-0.7078,相对富集的εNd(t)=-5.6 ~ -4.7值;而包体表现为均一的[n(87Sr)/ n(86Sr)]i=0.7071-0.7079和弱富集的εNd(t)=-3.8 ~-2.8特征。野外及岩相学和元素地球化学特征显示典型的岩浆混合特征。镁铁质包体源区可能来自于俯冲交代地幔,芙蓉山花岗斑岩则形成于古老富钾地壳熔体和交代地幔熔体混合后的结晶分异。混合模型计算表明混合比例为:~80%的地幔端元和~ 20%地壳端元。浙江中部芙蓉山富钾I型花岗斑岩与镁铁质包体共生可能指示其形成于古太平洋板块俯冲后撤初始弱伸展拉张的构造背景。  相似文献

新疆北部广泛发育的石炭纪—二叠纪花岗质岩石一直是中亚造山带西段研究的热点之一。新获得东天山哈尔里克地区小铺黑云母二长花岗岩和沁城南含角闪石二长花岗岩LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年龄分别为316±4Ma和320±3Ma。地球化学特征显示,小铺岩体为弱过铝质高钾钙碱性I型花岗岩,沁城南岩体为准铝质高钾钙碱性A型花岗岩。小铺岩体的εHf(t)值为+8.0~+13.8,沁城南岩体则更高,达到+10.8~+16.7,对应的地壳模式年龄(TDMc)分别为822~450Ma和641~268Ma,反映源区为年轻地壳物质。结合区域同时代产出的基性岩,指示这些年轻物质很可能与新的幔源基性底侵岩浆有关,为北疆哈尔里克地区石炭纪后碰撞地壳垂向生长提供了新证据。此外,沁城南岩体具有A型特征花岗岩的出现,进一步揭示晚石炭世为碰撞-后碰撞的重要构造转换期。  相似文献

New fieldwork, mineralogical and geochemical data and interpretations are presented for the rare-metal bearing A-type granites of the Aja intrusive complex(AIC) in the northern segment of the Arabian Shield. This complex is characterized by discontinuous ring-shaped outcrops cut by later faulting. The Baingoin batholith is one of the largest granitic plutons in the North Lhasa terrane. Its petrogenesis and tectonic setting have been studied for decades, but remain controversial. Here we report data on geochronology, geochemistry and isotopes of Early Cretaceous granitoids within the Baingoin batholith, which provide more evidence to uncover its petrogenesis and regional geodynamic processes. The Early Cretaceous magmatism yields ages of 134.4–132.0 Ma and can be divided into I-type, S-type and highly fractionated granites. The I- and S-type granites exhibit medium SiO2, high K2O/Na2O with negative εNd(t) and εHf(t) values, whereas, the albite granites have very high SiO2 (79.04%–80.40%), very low K2O/N2O, negative εNd(t) and a large variation in εHf(t). Our new data indicate that these granitoids are derived from unbalanced melting in a heterogeneous source area. The granodiorites involved had a hybrid origin from partial melting of basalt-derived and Al-rich rocks in the crust, the porphyritic monzogranites being derived from partial melting of pelitic rocks. The albite granites crystallized from residual melt separated from K-rich magma within the ‘mush’ process and underwent fractionation of K-feldspar. We believe that the Early Cretaceous magmatism formed in an extensional setting produced by the initial and continuous rollback of a northward-subducting slab of the NTO.  相似文献

The southern Sinai Peninsula, underlain by the northernmost extension of the Arabian-Nubian Shield, exposes post-collisional calc-alkaline and alkaline granites that represent the youngest phase of late Neoproterozoic igneous activity. We report a petrographic, mineralogical and geochemical investigation of post-collisional plutons of alkaline and, in some cases, peralkaline granite. These granites intrude metamorphosed country rocks as well as syn- and post-collisional calc-alkaline granitoids. The alkaline and peralkaline granites of the southern tip of Sinai divide into three subgroups: syenogranite, alkali feldspar granite and riebeckite granite. The rocks of these subgroups essentially consist of alkali feldspar and quartz with variable amounts of plagioclase and mafic minerals. The syenogranite and alkali feldspar granite contain small amounts of calcic amphibole and biotite, often less than 3%, while the riebeckite granite is distinguished by sodic amphibole (5–10%). These plutons have geochemical signatures typical of post-collisional A-type granites and were most likely emplaced during a transition between orogenic and anorogenic settings. The parental mafic magma may be linked to lithospheric delamination and upwelling of asthenospheric mantle material. Differentiation of the underplated basaltic magma with contributions from the juvenile crust eventually yielded the post-collisional alkaline granites. Petrogenetic modelling of the studied granitic suite shows that pure fractional crystallization cannot quantitatively explain chemical variations with the observed suite, with both major oxides and several trace elements displaying trends opposite to those required by the equilibrium phase assemblage. Instead, we show that compositional variation from syenogranite through alkali feldspar granite to riebeckite granite is dominated by mixing between a low-SiO2 liquid as primitive or more primitive than the lowest-SiO2 syenogranite and an evolved, high-SiO2 liquid that might be a high-degree partial melt of lower crust.  相似文献

The central part of South Mongolia, located to the north of the Solonker Suture, is a key region for studying the late Paleozoic tectonic evolution of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB). Voluminous late Paleozoic granitic rocks,especially of Carboniferous age, were intruded in this area. However, these granitoids have not been well studied and there is a lack of precise ages and isotopic data. This has hampered our understanding of the tectonic evolution of southeastern Mongolia, and even the entire CAOB. In this paper, we provide new U-Pb isotopic ages and geochemical analyses for these Carboniferous granites. One granite from the Ulaanbadrakh pluton yielded a zircon U-Pb age of 326 Ma, which indicates emplacement in the Early Carboniferous, and three other granites from the Khatanbulag region gave zircon U-Pb ages of316 Ma, 315 Ma, and 311 Ma, which indicate emplacement in the Late Carboniferous. The Early Carboniferous granite has SiO2 contents of 70.04–70.39 wt% and K2 O + Na2 O contents of 6.48–6.63 wt%, whereas the Late Carboniferous granites have more variable compositions(SiO2 = 65.29–77.91 wt% and K2 O + Na2 O = 5.30–7.27 wt%). All the granites are weakly-peraluminous I-types that are relatively enriched in U, Th, K, Zr, Hf, and LREEs. The whole rock Sr-Nd and zircon in situ Lu-Hf isotope analyses for the Early Carboniferous granite gave positive values of εNd(t)(2.87) and εHf(t)(4.31–12.37) with young Nd(TDM = 860 Ma) and Hf(TDMc = 1367–637 Ma) two-stage model ages, indicating derivation from juvenile crustal material. In contrast, the Late Carboniferous granites had more diverse values of εNd(t)(–4.03 to 2.18) and εHf(t)(–12.69 to5.04) with old Nd(TDM = 1358–1225 Ma) and Hf(TDMc = 2881–1294 Ma) depleted mantle two-stage model ages,suggesting derivation from remelting of Precambrian basement. Based on the existing results, the tectonic setting of the Late Carboniferous granites in the central part of South Mongolia is known for its diversity, and this paper believes that the tectonic background of the carboniferous granite records the tectonic transition from a continental-margin-arc to a postcollisional extensional setting during the Late Carboniferous–Permian.  相似文献

本松错岩基是羌塘中部规模最大的花岗岩复合岩基,面积超过1800km2,由石炭纪、三叠纪和侏罗纪3个不同时代的花岗岩岩体组成,记录了羌塘中部不同时期的岩浆活动,是研究羌塘盆地构造演化的重要窗口。蜈蚣山花岗岩位于本松错复合岩基北部,前人认为其时代为侏罗纪,但是近期在蜈蚣山地区侏罗纪花岗岩中发现有少量印支期花岗岩出露,岩性主要为花岗片麻岩和二长花岗岩,可能为侏罗纪花岗岩的捕虏体。地球化学研究表明,二长花岗岩属高钾钙碱性过铝质花岗岩,形成于同碰撞环境,与区域内其它印支期中酸性岩浆岩类似,共同构成龙木错-双湖-澜沧江板块缝合带同碰撞—后碰撞岩浆弧。此外还对花岗片麻岩片麻理中的黑云母做了40Ar-39Ar测年,获得了175.8Ma±1.1Ma的定年结果,与其围岩侏罗纪花岗岩年龄相近,推测花岗片麻岩是印支期花岗岩受后期侵入的侏罗纪岩浆改造后的产物,本松错复合岩基应当是中酸性岩浆岩多期侵入的产物。  相似文献

浙东地区岩浆岩广泛分布,受区域构造控制较明显,总体沿北东向余姚-丽水断裂带分布。本文对东园花岗岩体开展了详细的年代学和岩石地球化学研究。东园岩体主要由二长花岗岩、石英二长岩和少量花岗岩组成,主岩体二长花岗岩的LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年龄为235.6±0.7 Ma(MSWD=0.97,2σ),花岗岩为238.1±0.8 Ma(MSWD=1.3,2σ),均属中三叠世产物。二长花岗岩和石英二长岩为准铝质-弱过铝质的钙碱性花岗岩,具高硅(62.94%~75.29%)、富碱(Na_2O+K_2O=8.17%~9.34%)且富钾(K_2O=4.54%~5.63%)的特征,轻重稀土分馏明显,具有较强的Eu正异常(δEu=0.94~2.43),明显亏损高场强元素(HFSE)Nb、P、Ti,而相对富集Th、Hf,富集轻稀土元素(LREE)和大离子亲石元素(LILE)Rb,相对贫Ba。岩体属高(-中等)分异I型花岗岩,岩浆来源于具弧属性的加厚地壳部分熔融,形成于同碰撞向后碰撞阶段转变的大地构造环境,可能与太平洋板块向华南板块俯冲作用事件有关。  相似文献
