AbstractThe shape and structural development of the box-like Parrabel Dome (PD) within the Hastings Block is poorly understood because it has only been weakly cleaved, complexly folded and extensively faulted in comparison to the adjoining blocks. Better characterising this block will provide important controls on the tectonics of the southern New England Orogen. The structural development of the PD and southern Hastings Block (SHB) provides evidence of the degree of rotation, translation and deformation of the Hastings Block, a key terrane within the southern New England Orogen. A major decollement under the Hastings Block–Nambucca Block was suggested to facilitate south-directed deformation caused by the developing Coffs Harbour Orocline. The orientation of bedding and the stratigraphic facing of some fault blocks within the northern Hastings Block (NHB) are consistent with development of the PD, while other fault blocks indicate significant disruption of the NHB prior to, during and after dome development. A deep-seated fault is suggested by the gravity worm analysis consistent with the boundary zone between the PD, NHB-Yarrowitch Block and the east-dipping and younging sequences in the SHB. The eastern limb of the PD underwent clockwise rotation after formation. Fault blocks have been rotated and translated within a restraining bend as the NHB moved post-PD formation northwest along the interface between the NHB and SHB.

The filtering of point clouds is a ubiquitous task in the processing of airborne laser scanning (ALS) data; however, such filtering processes are difficult because of the complex configuration of the terrain features. The classical filtering algorithms rely on the cautious tuning of parameters to handle various landforms. To address the challenge posed by the bundling of different terrain features into a single dataset and to surmount the sensitivity of the parameters, in this study, we propose an adaptive surface filter (ASF) for the classification of ALS point clouds. Based on the principle that the threshold should vary in accordance to the terrain smoothness, the ASF embeds bending energy, which quantitatively depicts the local terrain structure to self-adapt the filter threshold automatically. The ASF employs a step factor to control the data pyramid scheme in which the processing window sizes are reduced progressively, and the ASF gradually interpolates thin plate spline surfaces toward the ground with regularization to handle noise. Using the progressive densification strategy, regularization and self-adaption, both performance improvement and resilience to parameter tuning are achieved. When tested against the benchmark datasets provided by ISPRS, the ASF performs the best in comparison with all other filtering methods, yielding an average total error of 2.85% when optimized and 3.67% when using the same parameter set. 相似文献

In this paper a number of related linearised water wave problems all involving thin submerged horizontal plates are considered. An integral transform approach is adopted and used to formulate integral equations in terms of unknown functions related to the jump in pressure across the plate. A Galerkin method is applied to the solution of these integral equations leading to elegant expressions for quantities of interest and a rapidly convergent numerical scheme. The focus of the paper is to demonstrate the application of this method in a number of settings including both two-dimensional problems applied to infinitely-long plates of constant width and three-dimensional problems involving circular discs. 花岗伟晶岩型铀矿床是一种重要的铀矿化类型,其矿化层严格受到花岗伟晶岩脉控制,矿化层围岩为片岩、片麻岩和混合岩等。花岗伟晶岩脉由硅质物肢结,坚硬质密,不透水,其测井结果表现为高电阻和高自然伽玛特征。而其围岩片岩、片麻岩和混合岩层理和解理非常发育,并富含层间水,测井结果表现为低自然伽玛、低电阻和低自然电位异常特征。花岗伟晶岩型铀矿含矿层与其围岩物性差异较大,利用地球物理测井参数的差异来评价岩矿层和铀成矿规律显然是一种较好的铀矿勘查工作方法。FD--3019伽玛定量测井是铀矿钻探勘查定量解释必不可少的一项基本测井工作;2007年以前花岗伟晶岩型铀矿钻探勘查没有尝试用电阻率、自然电位等综合测井参数评价预测铀矿化情况,实践结果证明通过综合测井曲线解释能够更准确的预测花岗伟晶岩脉的展布规律,科学划分钻孔地质剖面,为花岗伟晶岩型铀矿勘查评价和预测提供可靠依据,并且及时准确的指导野外生产和钻探设计工作。 相似文献
