This work deals with the evolution of carbon isotope composition in the Luoyixi (罗依溪) Section, a candidate of the Global Standard Stratotype-section and Point (GSSP), defining the base of the as-yet-undefined seventh stage of Cambrian System at the first appearance of the cosmopolitan agnostoid Lejopyge laevigata. This level is favored in a vote of International Subcommission on Cambrian Stratigraphy (ISCS) as the biohorizon for defining the base of a global stage. Two hundred and sixty-four samples for carbon and oxygen isotope analysis have been collected from the carbonate successions at an interval of 0.25 to 0.5 m in this section. Results of the carbon isotope data exhibit a remarkable disciplinarian trend. The pattern of the carbon isotope evolution is gently undulant with a relatively long period during the underlying Drumian Stage, and then the values of δ13C fluctuate sharply with a short period in provisional seventh stage. The onset of sharp fluctuation in the δ13C values begins at the proposed GSSP level, defining the base of the global seventh stage, where δ13C values change from a gentle trend to a sharp trend. Distinct covariant-relationships among δ13C, δ13O, and sea level fluctuations suggest that a warming change in paleoclimate took place during the early global seventh stage, which led to a positive shift in δ13C values. 相似文献

Rubidium (Rb) and strontium (Sr) contents and ratios were analyzed in 197 sediment samples collected from the CGS1 segment of the Chagelebulu Section in the Badain Jaran Desert of China to study millennial scale climate change during the Holocene. The results showed that the Rb and Sr contents and Rb/Sr ratios were low in the samples of dune sands and loess (Mz < 5.64Φ), and those values were high in the samples of loess (Mz > 5.64Φ) and paleosols, these data displayed 11 changing cycles in alternation of peaks and valleys in the chart. In addition, the Rb contents were positively correlated with Mz (mean particle diameter) and clay contents. While the correlations were weaker, Sr contents also showed a tendency to increase with increases in the Mz and clay contents. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the distribution of Rb and Sr within the CGS1 segment, it appears that the observed Rb and Sr contents and ratios varied in accordance with fluctuations of the East Asian winter and summer monsoons. In terms of timing and climate, low values (C1–C11) resulting from winter monsoons had a strong correlation with cold events in the North Atlantic: the period C1 corresponded to times ranging from 400 a to 1400 a and the periods C2, C3, C4, C7, C9, C10, and C11 corresponded to times of 3000 a, 4000 a, 5900 a, 8200 a, 9400 a, 10,300 a, and 11,000 a, respectively. The cold event C5 (6200 a) was also discovered in the North Atlantic in recent; and C6 (7100 a), C8 (8700 a) were discovered in some other places of China. 湖南桑植县仁村坪剖面二叠-三叠系界线地层连续,菊石动物化石丰富.根据该剖面上二叠统大隆组至下三叠统大冶组底部菊石动物群的分布,自下而上划分为4个菊石带:Araxoceras-Konglingites-Sanyangites带、Sinoceltites带、Pseudotirolites-Rotodiscoceras带和Hypophiceras-Ophiceras-Lytophiceras带.通过对该剖面菊石和牙形石生物地层及其与华南其他剖面的对比可知,Araxoceras-Konglingites-Sanyangites带与牙形石Neospathodus orientalis带同期,为吴家坪期晚期;Sinoceltites带与牙形石N.subcarinata-N.wangi带同期,为长兴期晚期;Pseudotirolites-Rotodiscoceras带与牙形石N.postwangi-N.changxingensis带和N.xiangsiensis-N.changxingensis带同期,为长兴期晚期;Hypophiceras-Ophiceras-Lytophiceras带与H.parvus、I.isarcica-I.staesche和N.planata 3个牙形石带同期,相当于印度期早期.根据仁村坪剖面菊石Hypophiceras-Ophiceras-Lytophiceras带底界的出现位置,将该剖面的二叠-三叠系界线确定在第27a层的中部. 相似文献

Meishan Section D in Changxing County, Zhejiang Province, China has been selected as the global stratotype of the Permian-Triassic boundary and various studies hav been done at the boundary but the gas chromatographic-mass spectrographic analysis of alkane biomarkers has not been investigated. This paper presents of results of a study of the biomarkers analyzed in a series of samples across the permian-Triassic boundary at both Meishan Section A and Section D. The results show that the overall concentration of alkane biomarkers in the Permian-Triassic boundary strata is high in Bed 26 while it is low in Bed 27. A variety of biomarker parameters demonstrate that the main sources of organic matter in the sediment are algae and bacteria and that the depositional enviroment varied from weakly oxidizing to reducing during the studied interval. 相似文献

松辽盆地敖古拉断裂的封烃泄水作用 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
敖古拉断裂位于齐家一古龙坳陷生油气区向西运移的指向上。且其走向与油气运移方向垂直。该断裂自基底一直断到第四系。具同生正断特征。通过封堵率计算研究表明,该断裂的侧向封烃能力在姚家组和泉头组地层中为中等,在嫩江组和青山口组地层中较好。通过断面压力计算发现,该断裂垂向封闭性在浅部差,深部好;在断裂走向上断裂中部差。向两端逐渐变好。通过地层水矿化度和变质系数等参数的分布规律及一系列折算水位剖面图的分析发现。该断裂对水是不封闭的,并且是盆地西缘大气渗入水向东流动(向心流)及齐家—古龙坳陷沉积压实水向西流动(离心流)的共同泄水带。所以,该断裂是一条封烃泄水断裂。敖古拉断裂封烃泄水的主要机理是毛细管压力作用。由于敖古拉断裂的封烃泄水作用,使其对齐家—古龙坳陷向西运移的油气起到了一定的屏障作用。 相似文献

Wind data from NCEP and hydrographic data obtained during 8–27 March 1992 have been used to compute circulation in the Luzon Strait and the northern South China Sea using three-dimensional diagnostic models with a modified inverse method. Numerical results are as follows: the main Kuroshio is located above 800 m levels. It has two intrusive branches of the Kuroshio in the areas above 400 m. One part intrudes anti-cyclonically northwestward, then flows through the area above 200 m southwest of Taiwan and into the Taiwan Strait. The other part intrudes westward and flows cyclonically in the areas north of the cyclonic eddies, then flows southward through the southern boundary of the region. The net westward volume transport (VT) through Section at 120°15′E between Luzon Island and Taiwan Island is about 3.0 Sv, net northward VT through northern boundaries into the Taiwan Strait is about 1.4 Sv and net southward VT through southern boundaries is about 1.6 Sv, which finally flows into the Karimata and Mindoro Straits. In the areas above 400 m east of 117°15′E, the circulation is mainly dominated by the basin-scale cyclonic gyre, which consists of two cyclonic eddies. However, in the areas below 400 m east of 119°00′E, the circulation is mainly dominated by basin-scale anti-cyclonic gyre. The joint effect of baroclinity and relief and interaction between wind stress and relief are important in different area respectively for the pattern of the depth-averaged flow across contours of fH−1. 相似文献
