利用云南区域数字地震遥测台网资料,采用Brune圆位错模型对1998年12月至2006年8月云南境内M≥3地震和越南北部M>2地震测算震源参数。结果表明,红河断裂两侧活动块体的地震活动和震源参数存在较为明显的差异。就地震矩与震级的标度关系而言,滇西南块体与美国加州圣安德列斯断层和滇西实验场及其周边地区的结果一致,但与华南块体和越南北部地区有差异;从应力降的测算结果看,华南块体西缘的云南及越南北部地区的年均值为7.29MPa,滇西南块体为4.48MPa,两块体北部地震的应力降大于南部地区,应力降由北向南逐渐减小;就地震位错年均值而言,华南块体为12.3mm/a,滇西南块体为6.6mm/a。  相似文献

The present paper describes the analysis and modeling of the South China Sea (SCS) temperature cycle on a seasonal scale. It investigates the possibility to model this cycle in a consistent way while not taking into account tidal forcing and associated tidal mixing and exchange. This is motivated by the possibility to significantly increase the model’s computational efficiency when neglecting tides. The goal is to develop a flexible and efficient tool for seasonal scenario analysis and to generate transport boundary forcing for local models. Given the significant spatial extent of the SCS basin and the focus on seasonal time scales, synoptic remote sensing is an ideal tool in this analysis. Remote sensing is used to assess the seasonal temperature cycle to identify the relevant driving forces and is a valuable source of input data for modeling. Model simulations are performed using a three-dimensional baroclinic-reduced depth model, driven by monthly mean sea surface anomaly boundary forcing, monthly mean lateral temperature, and salinity forcing obtained from the World Ocean Atlas 2001 climatology, six hourly meteorological forcing from the European Center for Medium range Weather Forecasting ERA-40 dataset, and remotely sensed sea surface temperature (SST) data. A sensitivity analysis of model forcing and coefficients is performed. The model results are quantitatively assessed against climatological temperature profiles using a goodness-of-fit norm. In the deep regions, the model results are in good agreement with this validation data. In the shallow regions, discrepancies are found. To improve the agreement there, we apply a SST nudging method at the free water surface. This considerably improves the model’s vertical temperature representation in the shallow regions. Based on the model validation against climatological in situ and SST data, we conclude that the seasonal temperature cycle for the deep SCS basin can be represented to a good degree. For shallow regions, the absence of tidal mixing and exchange has a clear impact on the model’s temperature representation. This effect on the large-scale temperature cycle can be compensated to a good degree by SST nudging for diagnostic applications.  相似文献

应用广西1960年以来地面88个观测站日平均气温、降水量、相对温度、均风速、总云量等气象资料,以及1970-2001年ECMW F再分析资料850hPa比湿和垂直速度资料,分析南海夏季风异常早晚的广西气象要素特征。结果表明:南海夏季风偏早,广西地面气温偏低,季风爆发当候广西气候特征往多雨方向发生变化,而爆发之后气候趋于较正常状态;南海夏季风偏晚年,爆发前6候,地面气温高,在季风爆发后5候内降水量较多;南海夏季风偏早、偏晚与广西多数固定月、季时间尺度的气温、降水量的关系无明显增加线性相关。  相似文献

辽东半岛南部早古生代地层发育,其中馒头组—冶里组的沉积过程,具有完整的陆源碎屑岩—碳酸盐岩堆积特点。从层序划分、沉积环境演化、古气候变迁等方面分析,馒头组—冶里组反映了一个完整的碳酸盐岩台地的发展过程,可划分出准备阶段(形成碎屑岩垫板)、生长—发育阶段(形成碳酸盐岩缓坡)及衰亡阶段(发育白云岩盖层)。  相似文献

A continental sequence of red beds and interbedded basaltic layers crops out in the Sierra Chica of Córdoba Province, Argentina (31.5°S, 64.4°W). This succession was deposited in a half-graben basin during the Early Cretaceous. We have carried out a palaeomagnetic survey on outcrops of this basin (147 sites in seven localities). From an analysis of IRM acquisition curves and detailed demagnetization behaviour, three different magnetic components are identified in the volcanic rocks: components A, B and X are carried by single- or pseudo-single-domain (titano) magnetite, haematite and multidomain magnetite, respectively. Component A is interpreted as a primary component of magnetization because it passes conglomerate, contact, tilt and reversal tests. The carrier of the primary magnetization, fine-grained (titano)magnetite, is present in basalts with a high degree of deuteric oxidation. This kind of oxidation is interpreted to have occurred during cooling. Components B and X are discarded because they are interpreted as recent magnetizations. In the sedimentary rocks, haematite and magnetite are identified as the carriers of remanence. Both minerals carry the same component, which passes a reversal test. The calculated palaeomagnetic pole, based on 55 sites, is Lat. 86.0°S, Long. 75.9°E ( A 95=3.3, K =35). This palaeomagnetic pole supersedes four with anomalous positions reported in previous papers.  相似文献

利用120次地震震源机制解资料,分析了巴士系断裂带构造应力场的基本特征。结果表明,该断裂带应力场的总体特征为NW ̄NWW向,但不同地段略有差异。由北西至南东主压应力P轴方向由NWW ̄NW ̄NWW(近EW)向,P轴相对平缓,地震以走错动为主,兼具倾滑分量,应力场的变化与菲律宾海板块对欧亚板块的不均匀推挤作用有关。  相似文献

The first attempt is made to evaluate quantitatively the changes of accumulation rates in the South China Sea during the last glaciation and Holocene, based on the data of 72 sediment cores taken from six areas deeper than 100 m. As shown from the calculations, the accumulation rate during the last glaciation is much higher than that during the Holocene. The southern and northern continental slopes are distinguished from other areas by the highest accumulation rates, with different features of sedimentation for aifferent stages: The Glacial-Holocene contrast in accumulation rate of terrigenous material is more distinct in the southern slope, while the contrast in biogenic sedimentation rate is more remarkable in the northern slope. The new plants documented here, including a representative of the trimerophytesPsilophyton primitiuum sp. nov., a questionable rhyniophyte or trimerophyteHedeia sinica sp. nov., a prelycopodBragwanathia sp. and two species of zosterophyllophytes,Zosterophyllum australianum Lang and Cookson 1930 and2. sp. 1, from the Posongchong Formation of southeastern Yunnan, China, add to the known floral diversity of the Early Devonian of this region. Two sections of the Posongchong Formation, Changputang section of Wenshan district and Gegu section of Mengzi district also are introduced. After comparing the plants with those of the coeval flora of Australia and considering the data of recent paleocontinental reconstructions, the authors suggest that there is a northeastern Gondwana phytogeographic unit during the early Devonian comprising Australia, South China Block and perhaps Shan-Thai Block. The similarity of the floral component between Australia and South China is discussed. Because both Australia and South China also have dominant or endemic taxa, each might be recognized as a subunit, separately characterized byHedeia for Australia andEophyllophyton for South China. For 27 hillslope profiles located within four first-order drainage basins on the dip slope of the South Downs in East Sussex, contour curvature (P), measured in degrees per 100 m, is highly variable within any one hillslope. Hillslopes may be described as wholly concave in plan where P is less than ?40, wholly convex in plan where P is greater than +40 and convexo-concave in plan where P lies between ?40 and +40. One measure of P taken at the profile sampling line is found to give a better estimate of P than measuring P at the steepest point on the hillslope. P is found to be significantly negatively correlated with slope in 38 per cent of cases, correlated with distance from the divide in 55 per cent of cases (positively where P <0 and negatively where P <0) and positively correlated with profile curvature in 70 per cent of cases. Implications of these correlations for hillslope process-response models are discussed.  相似文献
