The numerical simulation of penetration into sand is one of the most challenging problems in computational geomechanics. The paper presents an arbitrary Lagrangian–Eulerian (ALE) finite element method for plane and axisymmetric quasi-static penetration into sand which overcomes the problems associated with the classical approaches. An operator-split is applied which breaks up solution of the governing equations over a time step into a Lagrangian step, a mesh motion step, and a transport step. A unique feature of the ALE method is an advanced hypoplastic rate constitutive equation to realistically predict stress and density changes within the material even at large deformations. In addition, an efficient optimization-based algorithm has been implemented to smooth out the non-convexly distorted mesh regions that occur below a penetrator. Applications to shallow penetration and pile penetration are given which make use of the developments.  相似文献

Some steep headwater streams of the mid‐mountains landscape of the flysch belt of the Western Carpathians are affected by debris flows. Connectivity of the largest boulder and cobble fractions has been evaluated in steep streams found in the transitional zones between the hillslopes and alluvial cones of similar lithology and watershed morphometry. Two longitudinal profiles affected by past debris‐flow activity and two longitudinal profiles void of such processes were selected. In the first case, active channels were characterised by the presence of the coarsest fraction, while a downstream trend of sediment coarsening or fining lacked any influence of contemporary fluvial processes and sediment supply. In addition, debris‐flow‐affected streams showed greater differences between the middle axis of the coarsest particle and the particle‐size index including the lengths of all three axes, which is most likely the result of limited active fluvial transport. All the studied streams demonstrated general downstream fining of the largest particles, which resulted from local flysch lithology containing more resistant sandstones in the upper parts of the watershed. The trend of sediment fining was more rapid in the longitudinal profiles unaffected by past debris flows. These types of streams also showed adjustment of the coarsest bed fraction to contemporary processes in channels by sediment coarsening in incised reaches and sediment fining in depositional reaches as well as by downstream response to some lateral sediment inputs. The index of the unit stream power showed no correlation with the considered coarsest fraction in both fluvial‐dominated channels and debris‐flow‐affected channels.  相似文献

The overall stability of marine strata holding gas hydrates is dependent on their shear strength characteristics. These characteristics, in turn, are dependent on thermal flux that is imposed for dissociation of the hydrates for the safe and efficient extraction of methane gas from the hydrate bearing sediments. Due to the imposition of thermal flux on these sediments, their fabric structure and pore space hydrate saturation changes, which impacts the overall stability of the sea bed. Estimating stability conditions in such a ‘multiphase and dynamic system’ necessitates collection of undisturbed samples without compromising their in-situ thermodynamic conditions. This is a daunting task given the huge cost of procuring samples and the challenge of maintaining an undisturbed sample with in-situ thermodynamic conditions till it is brought to the laboratory. Synthesizing hydrate bearing sample sediments in laboratory for conducting studies to identify heat migration mechanisms and thermal property measurements and linking them to the shear strength characteristics provides an affordable solution to this problem. With this in view, a critical review of the available literature, dealing with laboratory synthesis of hydrate bearing sediments, their thermal and strength characteristics, the coupled phenomenon of heat and fluid migration, and its impact on the overall stability of marine sediments, has been conducted and presented in this paper. This will facilitate understanding the factors governing and the mechanism of heat transfer in a multiphase system, the changes in the system brought about by the hydrate dissociation front, and the overall impact on the stability of seabed.  相似文献

末水条斑紫菜以组织捣碎机粉碎,在10 mmol/L磷酸盐缓冲液(p H 6.8)中反复冻融3次,收集上清液,通过膨化床疏水层析技术分离R-藻红蛋白(R-PE),剩余残渣用于硫酸多糖提取。使用膨化柱分离,粗提液中约17%的藻红蛋白可以被回收,DEAE-Sepharose离子交换树脂纯化后,约12%的R-藻红蛋白得到回收,光谱纯度大于3.2,纯化得率为0.66 mg/g鲜紫菜。吸收光谱、荧光发射光谱以及凝胶电泳均显示该藻红蛋白属于典型三峰型R-藻红蛋白。利用藻红蛋白提取后的残渣,每克条斑紫菜可回收到30.5 mg的粗多糖,其中硫酸基含量为21.8%。实验证明,微波辅助抽提与热水浸提对硫酸多糖得率无显著影响。纯化的R-藻红蛋白与紫菜硫酸多糖可用于食品、化妆品添加,或药品、保健品的开发。本文对探索次等紫菜生物质的综合、高值化利用,进一步促进我国相关产品的开发与应用具有重要意义。  相似文献

根据河口海岸水沙输移的特点,建立了一个新的二维分组数学模型,用来预测该区域的水沙输移过程。该模型耦合了水动力模块、泥沙输移模块和床面演变模块。其中水动力模块基于浅水方程组,综合考虑了柯氏力、床面切应力以及表面风应力的影响,引入干湿判断法处理动边界。泥沙输移模块首先将泥沙按照粒径分组,针对不同泥砂性质,对各组泥沙分别进行建模求解。床面演变模块基于质量守恒方程,实时更新床面高程以及床沙级配变化,并传递给水动力模块,更新底部边界。该模型被应用在了英国塞汶(Severn)河口,其预测的泥沙浓度和实测数据以及不分组的模型的预测结果进行了比较,结果显示,文中建立的分组模型预测的结果要明显好于不分组模型。  相似文献

Reliable quantification of suspended sediment (SS) and particulate phosphorus (PP) transport, and identification of the various delivery pathways at the catchment level, is an important and necessary aid to appropriate catchment management. In this study we measured storm event, seasonal and annual losses of SS and PP from a Danish arable catchment, Gelbæk Stream, using a multisampling strategy. SS losses for the study years May 1993–April 1994 and May 1994–April 1995 ranged from 71 to 88 kg ha−1, while PP losses ranged from 0·32 to 0·36 kg P ha−1. In both cases losses mainly occurred during infrequent storm events. In comparison with intensive storm sampling, infrequent (fortnightly) sampling underestimated annual transport during the two study years by −24 and −331%, respectively, for SS, and by −8·6 and −151%, respectively, for PP. Reliable estimation of the transport of sediment and sediment-associated nutrients and other substances thus necessitates the use of an intensive monitoring approach. Turbidimeters proved to be a good substitute for direct measurement of SS, especially during storm events, although careful calibration is needed at the seasonal and storm event levels. Experience shows that in artificially drained and geologically complex catchments such as Gelbæk, simultaneous comparative monitoring of different sources (e.g. subsurface drainage water) is an important means of reliably discriminating between the various diffuse sources of sediment and phosphorus. Subsurface drainage water was found to account for 11–15% of the annual SS export from the catchment; the corresponding figure for PP being 11–18%. Surface runoff was only a source of SS and PP during the first study year, when it accounted for 19% of SS and 7% of PP catchment export. Stream bank/bed erosion must therefore have been the major diffuse source of SS and PP in both study years. The study also revealed that analysis of the trace element content (e.g. 137Cs, 210Pb) of the SS transported in subsurface drainage water and stream water during storm events is a useful means of discriminating between diffuse losses of SS delivered from topsoil and subsoil compartments. © 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

本文根据探空资料(TTAA),利用数值模式的客观和诊断分析结果、高空气象探测数据处理系统(T-lnp图)及天气图进行天气形势、物理量场的定量分析及单站气象要素的演变分析等对2000年4月4-6日两次沙尘暴天气过程进行了分析。结果表明:两次沙尘暴过程的形成是由于生成于蒙古地区的蒙古气旋进入东北后强烈发展,在华北、东北、内蒙南部地区形成大范围的强西北风而引起的。地面锋线及高空槽后都为偏北大风区,强劲的空中风使沙尘迅速向前方扩展。地面锋线与850、700、500hPa槽线上、下位置重合较好,槽后各层均存在大风区及下沉运动区,二者配合有利于高层动量下传,形成地面辐散大风直接导致了沙尘暴的形成。陡峭的锋面使得锋前有强励的上升气流,将沙尘粒子源源不断地输送到高空,使地面和空中沙尘连成一体。利用高空气象探测数据处理系统对探空资料(TTAA报)处理的结果表明:整层大气比较稳定,对流不易发展。近地面大气较干燥,无法形成降水,疏松的沙土易被大风扬起,这也是沙尘暴形成的主要原因之一。  相似文献

经过7年的试验研究,根据保存率、生长状况、抗性等6个指标,选择了东疆沙拐枣、花棒、柠条、梭梭等8个适宜的植物种。对其中在沙丘顶部表现较好的4个植物种在高大的流动沙丘上进行聚沙阻沙的造林试验,根据抗风蚀、抗沙埋、抗干旱的能力及聚沙阻沙的效果,最终选出了东疆沙拐枣为建造活沙障的最佳植物种。  相似文献

滑坡属于地质灾害中的重要灾种之一,查明滑坡区的地质与地球物理特征,对分析滑坡形成机制、评价滑坡稳定性具有重要意义。鉴于此,本文将高密度电法引入三峡库区腹地万州区滑坡地质调查中,在区内四方碑滑坡、塘角1号滑坡和麻柳林滑坡进行地球物理探测工作,并结合钻孔资料对实测结果进行对比验证。实测结果表明:在地形复杂地区开展地球物理探测工作,通过数据反演与分析,可获取滑坡体地层结构及滑移面;结合相关地质资料,通过对比解译,可弥补单纯依靠钻孔信息来确定滑移面形态的不足;3个典型滑坡区地球物理实测资料揭露滑坡体和滑床地球物理电性特征表现为,由崩坡积物、第四系粉质黏土以及含水碎石块组成的滑坡体电阻率低于40 Ω·m,而由砂岩与泥岩组成的滑床电阻率高于40 Ω·m,高密度电法对基岩滑坡和土质滑坡都能获取较好的结果。  相似文献
